53_There's always a challenge

"How are we going to get inside?", Lucius asked while looking at the closed door that would lead them to their destination, the canteen, while hoping that they didn't run for their lives just to not be able to get inside.

But his questions were only met with silence. They looked quietly at the closed door hoping for a wonder to happen, but the only thing that happened was that someone became craz-.

Someone began to laugh quietly but loud enough for them to hear.

"Hehehehehe!", Lilyann who was the culprit began to laugh weirdly while the others couldn't help but take a step back from her. She opened her mouth: "It's finally time!" In her hand was a bobby pin. She walked to the door confidently. She dropped to her knees and put the pin inside the lock.

*CLING* *CLANG*

Lilyann turned the pin around with a face that showed that she knew what she did. Lucius who saw first time someone opening a lock in the not normal way couldn't help but walk closer and closer to Lilyann, but not too close in fear of disturbing her work.

After a while the turning stopped, and she once again began to laugh: "Hehehehehe!"

"Did it work?", Lucius asked full in awe.

"Who do you think I am", she said full of confidence: "Of course, I failed."

"Eh?"

"…"

"Did you seriously waste our time?", Narcys said a bit annoyed while walking closer and closer to her, clearly intimidating her.

Knowing that she f*cked up by looking at their faces, she quickly explained her reasons: "I'm sorry! I just wanted to try it because it always looked so cool!"

Hearing her reasons didn't make it better, not for Narcys then: "You needed to try it now?"

"*COUGH* *COUGH* Yes", she said calmly forgetting her fear for him she had a minute earlier.

Feeling that Narcys would blow up if Lilyann said one wrong word Arthur came between to meditate, change the topic once again: "Let's find a way inside or are we going to give up going in the canteen?"

"Does nobody know any way?", Lin asked in a way as she knew what the answer already was going to be.

"No."

"…"

"Narcys?", Lin said suspiciously while gazing at him with a look that told him to better hurry up.

"I may know one, but I'm not sure if it's still open."

Arthur who became excited after hearing him grabbed Narcys with both of his hand while shaking him lightly: "Where is it?"

But the only answer he got was a dead glare: "Let go of me before I make you."

"Sorry…", he said quietly while letting go quickly.

"Where is it? Where is it?", Lucius asked with excitement.

"I told you that it may be closed."

"Doesn't matter! At least we can check for sure!", Lilyann told him.

"Yeah, if it's open good for us, but if it's closed we have no other choice than change our search place.", Arthur said.

Narcys didn't say anything, but instead he walked away to the door that would lead them outside. The others could only follow him quietly wondering where he would lead them. They walked around the building until they could look inside the canteen through the window.

"Here we are", he said while pushing a window that magically opened.

"It's open!", Lilyann screamed happily while climbing through the window in a not gentleman way.

"Calm down!", Arthur said while helping Lilyann to go smoothly through it.

"How did you know about this place?", Lucius curiously asked to Narcys.

"I- ", before he could even answer him he was disturbed by a girl who was too silent not a second ago.

"It's obviously because he skips class a lot and searches everywhere for a place to take a nap and somehow stumbled here", Lin said in a confident voice.

Narcys was considering of telling them the truth or being an ass that he is and not tell them to annoy the small girl. In the end he decided to just say it because you'll never know what Lin would do if he doesn't say anything.

"I was taking a nap there", he said while pointing at a tree: "when I woke up because of someone's loud voice. I saw him climbing inside the canteen and coming out with food."

"Who was it? Do you know him?", Arthur asked inside of the canteen.

"Ryuu."

"I totally see him doing it", Lin said after a while: "but where was his master?"

Nobody asked who she meant with Ryuu's master. It was clear as day that Ryuu was a lost cause in being a good student. If there wasn't him to make him at least a bit more student-like he would literally run through the corridor half naked when the class is running just because it seemed fun. He has a knack of finding 'fun' things that may or may not only be fun in his eyes. It's like only he knows how to make him quiet down but the consequences of this is that they have petty fights, but rather that than Ryuu looking for trouble.

"The noise was obviously them arguing. Erebus was against it, but Ryuu didn't listen and instead did what he wanted. He could only helplessly guard the window in case a teacher came.", Narcys explained while climbing inside leisurely.

Lucius followed him inside and in no time four of the five where inside, the problem came afterwards. Lin who could barely look inside couldn't lift herself to go through the window. She tried to act cool, but they all knew she was struggling hard.

"I'll be there in a but, don't worry! You guys can already look around. Don't wait for me!", she said while smiling at them.

Not knowing if they should listen to her or help her and possibly hurt her self-esteem because she obviously didn't want to show them her 'weak side'. Maybe if 'he' wasn't there she would have asked for help or if 'he' had a hard time climbing through it and needed help she would gladly asked for help, but no, that didn't happen.

Lucius, Lilyann and Arthur looked in each other's eyes and decided what they would do. They would quickly search for any clues in the canteen, so fast that Lin wouldn't feel embarrassed after not being able to get in.

They quickly spread out and searched carefully but quickly around the canteen.

Now only Lin and Narcys stayed by the window looking at each other without saying a word.
