Chapter 9

As soon as she went to class everyone turned to her, some looked at her with pity and others felt sorry that was when she knew that all of them knew what happened in the hallway. She went to her seat and found Jason there.

"Hey Jason am so sorry I shouldn't have shouted at..." Sally said but got interrupted

"No I should be the one apologizing. I was asking too much. Am sorry." Jason said holding Sally's hand.

"Aww so cute" the class chorused this made Jason and Sally bust out laughing and the class joined them.

As they were laughing someone opened the door and they saw Ben with two other boys walking in.

"Good morning" Ben greeted

"Good morning Senior" the class replied with some of the girls blushing especially Janice because she had a big crush on him.

Ben walked straight to where Sally was standing and held her left cheek and he saw that his sister's eyes were red.

He then held her hand and lead her out of the class. Some of the students were shocked with what they saw, Janice's heart was full of jealousy she couldn't believe her eyes. The class became noisy they were all talking about Ben and Sally.

"Silence!!" one of the boys who came with Ben said

"Ben what are you doing and who are those boys and why are you here?" Sally asked

"shh, I heard what happened in the hallway way and knew you cried. Am only here to check on you." Ben replied holding his sister's hand with pity in his eyes

"Ronald am fine and it was my fault I overreacted plus I have apologized to Jason." Sally said

"Are you sure?" Ben asked

"Yes. I think I shouted because what he said made me miss Mom" Sally replied

"Hey don't think too much. And why was that Jason guy holding your hands? Are you guys dating?" Ben asked laughing

"what!! no way he is just a friend." Sally answered

"What is wrong with falling in love? Love is beautiful you know" Ben said raising his eyebrow

"Ha says someone who doesn't have a girlfriend" Sally said and laughed

"I haven't found the right person yet." Ben said

"Okay okay. am going back to class" Sally said

"Alright let's go so that I can call my friends" Ben replied

They both entered the class and there was silent as cemetery

Sally just went to her seat.

"Okay your teacher would be here in no time so no noise" Ben said and left with his friends.
