Terry Chadwick watched the man in the shadows, feeling a twinge of heartache. She approached the man's gravestone and said to Clear Lee Greenwood's father, "Hello, Uncle,",
"I'm Terry Chadwick, and I'm your son's girlfriend. I hope you don't mind that I'm quite young."
"Don't worry, your son is outstanding. He's an amazing university professor, and he has a lot of admirers. I'm just the luckiest one among them."
"I hope you would like me."
After hearing Terry's words, Greenwood gently touched her head. He felt unexpectedly warm amidst the gloomy night skies. His heart, once lonely, was comforted by Terry's company.
As they left the graveyard, he wrapped his arms around Terry and, unable to resist, kissed her thin lips.
Terry was surprised, and shortly after, heard Greenwood apologize, "I'm sorry, I couldn't control myself."
"I don't mind.", Terry replied sincerely to Greenwood. "You've been lonely for so long. I'll be with you from now on."
