Trapped Fate

Usually, individuals find it difficult to change their fate unless a higher authority than themselves grants them this ability. In truth, they are only carrying out what was predestined to happen while doing everything they can to make a change in fate. "Opportunities like this are intended to be taken, but given that you are now a member of our organization, I wonder what you'll want to alter." *Scribble, Scribble* What he intended to change was written on a white sheet of paper. "I want to reverse the events that occurred when I was 17 years old, alter my destiny, and destroy this organization in the process." The organization hall became quiet as they started to make mockery of him for his stupid wish. "All right, anything you want, I'll do it. I hope you won't regret it." *Snap, Snap*

Quest 2

As the edge was now just a few yards away and everything was within grasp, Sebastian embarked on his trip. However, what he saw on the opposite side of the forest surprised him more. The outside of the woodland was ringed by a hundred-foot-tall mountain of wildflowers. The wildflowers were in a wide variety of hues, and the grass was rather smooth to the touch. The kingdom in the middle of the enclosed mountains impressed me more than the many colors they could create. I saw thousands of people walking around, they looked like ants from where I stood.

"I wonder how different this kingdom is from the other one. Unlike the other one, this one seems less defensive, not even a wall is protecting them, it seems they trust this mountain to protect them."

It seemed the veins were tired from dragging me throughout the forest. I'm sure they needed a break. Walking down from the mountains was very easy since going down such a steep mountain is easier than going down it. The grass helped me slide down the mountain, as the flowers rubbed against my skin. Pollen moved in the air pollinating the other flowers, bees were rather mad at me for disturbing them, so I had to move faster down the mountain. I finally reached the bottom of the mountain but still had a long wait to reach this kingdom.

There were several pathways constructed of what appeared to be dirt that was strewn among the grasses; they weren't hard on my feet. I assume wearing shoes wasn't necessary for this universe. I wandered through the pathways until I came face to face with the kingdom. To my amazement, it appeared like everyone was startled by me and gave me a scared-looking stare. They appeared to have witnessed a monster in front of them.

"What is your name, and why are you in this kingdom? How did you even get it across the mountains?" Suddenly, what appeared to be a few hundred guards were pointing their swords in my direction as if I were a wanted person. How could they wield swords toward someone they had just met, I wondered. They were unaware that I had the assistance of my veins, which made it easy for me to traverse the mountains.

"I'm Sebastian Torres, a participant in this game, and as I arrived at the edge of the forest, I encountered enormous mountains. I discovered this country after navigating the mountains with the assistance of my veins. I made the decision to stop by, but I certainly didn't anticipate being surrounded by swords." Blades were pointing in my direction, and I was trying not to move because if I even moved an inch, they may attack. I wasn't in the least bit prepared to fight, and I had no prior experience.

"Do we treat strangers in this manner? This poor kid isn't even carrying any weapons, so let him go; he's harmless." The moment the knights turned around and entered the kingdom again, a voice that had appeared out of nowhere started speaking. Although I was unable to identify the speaker, I am confident that it was a person of greater status than them. I was permitted to tour the kingdom.

What appeared to be golden blossoms appeared to encircle the kingdom. Nearly all of their structures were built of wood, however, others were made of stone cracks with veins and moss growing on them. This kingdom appeared to be even less advanced than the previous one, remaining closer to nature. The inhabitants of the kingdom were quite racially varied and wore simple attire. No one was going hungry around here, despite the fact that people were selling fruits and other goods left and right. There were no starving people on this planet, unlike ours, which appeared to have millions of them. Or maybe they were keeping them secret?

I saw what appeared to be an inn or bar; it resembled the one from the other realm. Although it appeared like players were scarce or at least new ones around here, I was beginning to wonder if possibly this one had other players around. The tavern appeared to be empty as I forced the door open. In contrast to the other tavern in the other kingdom, which was crowded with people, nobody was present here. "Please excuse me, is anyone else present? Regarding this game level, I have a few inquiries."

"We apologize for the inconvenience, but it appears that we neglected to lock the doors. It won't do me any good if I keep what I know to myself, so I guess I don't mind answering some questions regarding this game stage." From behind the tavern, a young man in a suit emerged and sat down on what appeared to be a bar stool.

"Ah, I was hoping you could inform me of some advice on how to pass this stage. I'm aware that a mage must give me a quest, but that's all I know. Maybe you know more about this investigation? possibly items required for this quest."

"I haven't had the opportunity to meet this mage, but I do know of a few items you need. You need to collect crystals of a sort, crystals from each color of color, but that is only one of the many items you need to gather. But that is all I know about the quest; sorry I am not the best at giving such information."

"Thank you, for the information, I'll make sure to use it when I travel around. It seems it turning night outside, I'll be leaving."

Yet I didn't trust him enough to ask if I may spend the night as I did in the other tavern. Why were crystals everywhere, acting as though they were nothing more than trash if they were so crucial to our quest? Since it was more tranquil for me to be alone and away from people, I made the decision that it would be better if I stayed outside the kingdom among the flowers and grass. I had no idea if they would attempt to murder me as they did this afternoon. The risk was not worthwhile.

Stars had now filled the shy. It was very odd because, although I knew they weren't speaking to me, it seemed like they were. It appeared as though the stars were moving when I raised my hands. I made the decision to put it to the test further to check whether my hands were actually moving them. However, it was true that they were on the move. I immediately got up to ask why they were moving. I couldn't determine if it was related to the bracelt or anything else. But I felt it was better to ignore it and go to sleep than to worry about it. But it was challenging to do so since it seemed like the heavens were yelling at me. I was instructed to assist them in fleeing their thoughts.
