Sebastian's body temperature was raised because he was securely held in place while laying on flower peduncles. Sebastian's pallid, white face was illuminated by the sunshine streaming from the vibrant image that has now broken into millions of glass pieces. He was enveloped by the fragrant scent of flowers as butterflies appeared to emerge from the damaged image and descend on him. They shielded him from the sweltering heat, which seemed unable to go away. As he awoke from his beautiful dreams, butterflies were flying all around him. Sebastian was currently staring emotionlessly at the sky as if he were just half awake. He didn't seem to be distracted from his gaze upward even by the door opening with the help of the veins.
Sebastian didn't awaken from his daydream until the flower's veins decided to squirt water in his face. "Wow, what was that for, really, how are you even getting around on your own?" When I tried to put on my clothes after jumping out of the coffin and walking around the coffin's edges to get them, the veins snatched them from my hands. "Come on, return my garments; it doesn't feel good to be nude." The veins seemed to think otherwise, as they destroyed my clothing as returned to the ground. I was starting to feel hopeless. "What if someone were to walk on me?"
*Crack, Crack*
I was afraid to look into the coffin when the dirt beneath it suddenly began to fracture and produce a hole because I didn't know what other spooky things may be in the tomb. However, it appeared as though something was emerging from a hole; a dazzling brightness temporarily rendered me blind as it seemed to illuminate the whole area. When I opened my eyes, a floating garment constructed of what appeared to be veins and fragments of the ceiling image appeared. The design was rather exposing because the top was nothing more than a bunch of see-through little tendrils resembling flowers. Fortunately, when I tried pulling on the shorts, the material—which appeared to be moss—seemed to be holding together.
The veins appeared to want to travel with me, but I was unable to comprehend why it was suddenly hard to take off the bracelet. I attempted to pull on it, but nothing happened. I assumed the talking bracelet was only a dream, yet everything it said was real. "Should I even try to heal them then? The proprietor gave off the impression that while the price is high, helping others is equally worthwhile. For the time being, it seems best to avoid thinking about it." I saw that the vein appeared to beg me to take something just as I turned to go. Despite my inability to discern what it was, it was a necklace. "Are you sure I'm not about to get another cursed thing?" However, nothing happened when I wore the rune necklace—no talking or supernatural powers. At least temporarily, everything appeared to be normal.
*Forest*
The veins in the forest's leaves made it easier for me to go through it quickly; I felt like I was soaring while the brisk winds blew my hair back. I haven't enjoyed myself this much in a long. It would have been great if I had some company, but after what occurred on the first few levels, I was unable to trust anyone. Our next destination appeared to be closer to us the trip there. Everything was going as expected. I couldn't help but stare at the numerous, larger-than-I-was butterflies that appeared to be fluttering all about me. It appears that not only the forest but even the animals were bigger than usual. The butterfly wings were quite lovely; some of them appeared to be a rainbow due to their vivid colors.
As I hadn't had anything to eat, my stomach was rather hungry from having nothing to eat this morning. "Veins do you mind if we stop by the banana trees? I'm rather hungry" The veins slowly pulled me to towards the tree branches, the veins snapped a banana out the trees as they only allowed me to step on the ground near a pond. It seemed something dangerous was around the trees or perhaps they thought I wanted water as well. or many the veins need water, after all we all need water to live. I started stuffing my face with the large hard banana, it was very yummy.
*Splash*
"You've been warned to stop spraying water at me. Hmph, cut it off." I continued telling the vines to wash off as I entered the pond because it had been a few days since my previous bath. I was surprised that I didn't need to take my clothes off since it appeared as if they changed into a hair tie when I contacted the water. It felt wonderful to have clean water rub against my skin. Given that I hadn't trimmed it in the two years since deciding that I like having long hair, I believe my hair was quite long. Though my mother was against it since she was always reminding me that I needed a haircut. My mum has only been around me, after all, I am still a child.
I wonder how my life could have been different if my father had lived. If I had chosen to grow my hair long, he probably would have smacked me, hehe. He never even pays attention to us as he drinks and plays video games all day. His one and only love, while we were just bugs in his path, was video games. I'm relieved that I no longer have to deal with dealing with a parent like that. If I could just see my mother again, she seemed to be happy as well. But if I want to do that, I have to win his game.
*Splash*
This time, a large fish—the creature was enormous—made the splash instead of the veins. Its hues, flashing black skin with white spots, were unlike anything I had ever seen on a fish. It looked like something out of a fairy tale. But the dots changed color as the sunshine hit them. Fish view everything smaller than themselves as food, so I was astonished that I hadn't been eaten, but all it did was stare at me. It's young, some of them were still in eggs, were behind it. It appeared to want me to go.
"We've probably had enough fun for today, so let's move on." Although I wasn't sure if the pond water was safe to drink and they were now empty, I decided to fill them up anyway despite the vines' attempts to stop me. I had almost forgotten that I had a few water bottles. The vines began to wrap around me and transform back into my clothing.
*Forest*
We continue to fly through the forest as we did this morning, only now that the sun is shining brighter. When I looked at my phone to see what time it was, it read 1pm. I felt as though there was still a long way to go before our next significant stop. Since it appeared that we were approaching the forest's edge, I wasn't sure what might be there. I had hoped for something more lovely, but only time would tell.
