Seven days passed after the brainwashing of the 20 defective super soldiers. Unfortunately for Hydra, only half of them managed to endure the torture of their personality being demolished and rewritten. What it represents for Hydra is 50% of the project's funding going to waste.

Harvey was surprised to find himself suspended inside a cabin when he opened his eyes. His survival instincts kicked in and he tried to cover his mouth to prevent the water from entering his airways. But he soon found out that a breathing apparatus was attached to his face which then provided him with oxygen.

Not only that, but he also noticed that the "water" inside the cabin is shiny and warm hinting at its extraordinariness. He felt healthier both physically and mentally. His curiosity satisfied, Harvey then turned to the system panel.

He discovered that a new icon appeared with a red dot on top of it. He uses his will to open it and saw records of previous system prompts.

After that, Harvey saw a bunch of prompts congratulating him on completing achievements left and right. From solving the shape sorter earlier, sleeping before 10, walking, peeing and even taking a shit. In the end, he gained a total of 84 coins which then the system consumed to ensure that he retained his autonomy of thoughts. Yet despite that, the system can't do anything with the numbing of his senses that bring rise to feelings of detachment. As if he was playing a first-person video game with himself as the playable character.

'System, how can I regain my senses?'

'How long will it last?', Harvey didn't even ask about the validity of the procedure because he realized that the system is the only entity that could help him in his circumstance.

Truth be told, he was equally worried as he was equally happy when the system awaken. Humans were deeply afraid of the unknown and systems were exactly that so you can't blame Harvey for having his guard up.

Harvey's frown loosen as his body naturally relaxed. He issued a command to distribute the rewards of the latest achievement to the system.

"Today will be the start of your journey through hell!" The leader grins followed by laughter from the agents around him as they eyed the defects coming out from the pods.
