Transmigration: Married To The Illegitimate Prince

While reading her favorite novel, Dahlia found out that the villain of the story died terribly when it should have been the entire royal family. She cursed the heavens for doing injustice with the most broken souls and somehow got transmigrated in the same novel at a time when the Crown Prince had not taken his consort. To Dahlia's surprise, she was trapped in the body of the supposed betrothed of the Crown Prince in the story, Dahlia Ermacora, the eldest daughter of the Duke of the Ryuxan Kingdom. What came more surprising for her that she found herself at the wedding altar, holding the wedding bouquet, ready to marry the Crown Prince Daedric. She looked for Sullivan and ran down the altar. "I will marry Prince Sullivan because I love him," pronounced Dahlia, thus bringing shock to everyone's faces. "Marry me, Sullivan, and I'll help you give what you desire the most," Dahlia said, and she leaned closer to his ear, "the throne and the love." ••••• Sullivan Blackwood is the illegitimate prince of the royal family. His terrible fate was decided and locked when the King brought him to the palace. He grew up loveless and was constantly bullied by other princes and their friends. The Queen would torture him if he ever desired the same things as them. Sullivan gulped every drop of humiliation he faced as he decided to destroy the family where he could never find love and become the next King. When the Duke's daughter, Dahlia Ermacora, suddenly proposed to him, he was puzzled at first. However, he readily accepted her proposal and married Dahlia. "You made a mistake, Dahlia. You will die in the end because I have my selfish motives," Sullivan whispered in her ear after taking the final vow. ~~~~ "Am I not supposed to fulfill my wife's duties?" Dahlia asked. "I am not interested in becoming a husband," Sullivan said. "Also, I'm aware that you don't love me. You lied in front of everyone." "That's not true. I love you," Dahlia said, hiding her apprehension. Her eyelashes fluttered, and only one thought came in her mind to prove to him she was in love with him. Dahlia kissed him as she thought, 'I want to give my favorite character a happy ending.'

I will marry Prince Sullivan

Villains are not born, but they are made.

*****

"Crown Prince Daedric, you proved yourself to be the hero in the kingdom. However, tell everyone how you, your mother, and your brothers had always bullied me. Since the day the King brought me to this palace, I've never been able to live in peace. The pain you got from the loss of your brothers is nothing in front of the years of the pain I've undergone," said Sullivan Blackwood while smiling. The blood covered his mouth, its stains could be seen on his clothes.

"Shut your mouth, Sullivan. You were given everything in this palace and stop defaming us. I never did anything wrong to you. Because our equations never matched, you chose to be my foe. You killed all our brothers. You deserve a death sentence for what you did," Daedric stated and ordered the soldiers to put Sullivan on the guillotine.

"Daedric, they were never my brother. In fact, none of you ever considered me as a family member. I may die today, but remember you'll die too thinking about all the things you've done so far," Sullivan said. In the last moments of his life, he had no regrets. The only regret Sullivan had was that everyone considered him a heartless beast and a villain.

And then Sullivan was put into the dip of the guillotine. He closed his eyes and… He died!!!

Dahlia started weeping reading the last sentence in the novel. She buried her face in the pillow and cried buckets. Till the very end, Dahlia thought that Sullivan would be saved. However, the author turned out to be cruel and killed him.

Dahlia agreed that Sullivan had committed a lot of crimes while living among the royals, but for her, those actions were justified.

"I cannot bear it. My heart is aching badly. Sullivan didn't deserve this kind of end," Dahlia muttered to herself before sitting straight on the bed. She wiped the tears from the back of her palm and cried seeing Sullivan's face.

"Dahlia! Your aunt is on her way to our house. Go to the train station and pick her up." Dahlia's mother shouted from downstairs. She was not in a mood to do anything, but she couldn't ignore her mother's order either.

Getting off the bed, Dahlia washed her face well and then headed to pick up her aunt from the train station. She took her car to commute. Dahlia's mind was still in her favorite novel's character when an uncontrolled truck rushed in her direction.

When her focus returned to driving, the speeding truck hit her car, breaking off the glasses. Within seconds, the car overturned and hit the divider. Dahlia found her eyes closing, everything turning dark and silent before her.

Tears escaped her eyes as she had never anticipated her death in such a brutal way.

~~~~
"What's this noise?" Dahlia murmured, her eyes snapping open as a sharp sound pierced her head. She winced, feeling a piercing sensation reverberating within her skull. Instinctively, she brought her hand to her forehead, hoping to alleviate the pain, when she felt a gentle touch on her arm.
"Miss Dahlia, are you okay?" a young woman's voice inquired.
Lowering her hand, Dahlia glanced at the speaker. For a moment, she thought she must be in a dream after getting into that terrible accident. "Am I alive or dead?" she muttered when she heard the large doors opening.
Moving her eyes to the front, shock occupied her face as she saw the wedding hall in front of her. The guests were present on both sides of the altar in royal attires. She looked at herself and found the bouquet in her hand.
'Wait! What's going on?' she thought.
The young female, who was Dahlia's attendant again asked her if she was fine. She was supposed to go in. "The Crown Prince is waiting for you," she whispered in a low voice.
"Crown Prince?" Dahlia arched her eyebrow and looked at her front. Her eyes widened to see a man standing in royal wedding attire. 'Am I dreaming about the novel?' she thought when the female attendant asked her not to delay anymore. The crowd had already started to grow suspicious.
And then, Dahlia's father, Duke Preston came toward her and hooked her hand around his arm. "Dahlia, everyone is waiting for you. I know you are nervous, but it is only for a few minutes. Let's go in," said her father.
Dahlia was still puzzled, wondering if it was an illusion or a dream after getting into an accident. She looked around herself and found they all looked like people from medieval times. She looked at her front finally and saw the Crown Prince, who looked like Daedric.
'I must be dreaming,' Dahlia still thought and closed her eyes, trying to wake up in reality. However, nothing happened. She was finally in front of the Crown Prince, who took her hand in his.
Preston bowed to the Crown Prince and got down the aisle. His eyes were watery seeing his daughter finally getting married.
Dahlia was still in a daze and got to the wedding altar with the Crown Prince. She pinched the back of her palm, causing her to scream.
"Are you alright, Dahlia?" Daedric asked in his worried tone.
"Yes, I am," Dahlia replied. She couldn't believe it wasn't a dream.
When the priest called their names, Dahlia was shocked to find out that she transmigrated into her favorite novel at a time when Crown Prince Daedric would marry Dahlia Ermacora and took her as his consort.
'I cannot marry Daedric,' Dahlia thought in her mind. 'Where is Sullivan?' she wandered her eyes around to spot Sullivan. And finally, she noticed the Illegitimate Prince, Sullivan Blackwood. A smile carved on her lips and she glanced at Daedric.
"I'm sorry Daedric, but I cannot marry you. I already have someone whom I love," Dahlia said, causing the smile to disappear from his face.
Before he could ask Dahlia, she ran down the altar and went to Sullivan, bringing whispers among all the guests present there.
She admired Sullivan's handsomeness and smiled brightly. "I will marry Prince Sullivan because I love him," pronounced Dahlia, thus bringing shock to everyone's faces.
"Marry me, Sullivan and I'll help you give what you desire the most," Dahlia said in a low, voice and she leaned closer to his ear, "the throne and the love."
Dahlia is transmigrated in the novel! Tighten your seatbelts for a rollercoaster journey of Dahlia with Sullivan and four other princes in the palace.
