Adventurer's Guild (1)

Moments later, a tall figure in a guild uniform approached Lumen. He had a distinguished air about him, and the badge on his chest identified him as the branch manager. He offered Lumen a polite smile and gestured to a nearby corner.

"Would you mind coming with me, sir?" the branch manager asked. "I'd like to have a chat with you privately."

Lumen followed the branch manager to a small office tucked away from prying eyes and ears. Once the door was closed, the manager took a seat behind the desk and motioned for Lumen to do the same.

"So, you're the one who took on the Plagueclaw Vermin quest," the manager began, his tone serious. "That's quite an impressive feat, especially for someone of your level."

Lumen nodded, his expression neutral. "It seems I did more than what was asked."
