Rowlet dove down towards sudowoodo at a high speed, responding his trainers wish to end the battle. Flying energy appeared and instead of strengthening its beak, wrapped around rowlet speeding him further. The speed wasn't as fast as quick attack but enough wher sudowoodo couldn't easily avoid. As rowlet closed in, sudowoodo suddenly sidestepped and bent its entire body away from rowlets path, making it impossible for rowlet to hit.

What happened next shocked both Daniel and Brassius. Rowlets unnaturally turned his body to collide with sudowoodo. Brassius could see clearly that it was the flying energy that had turned rowlet midair. Sudowoodo had finally been knocked out. Daniel had finally won the battle.

"Congrats on winning the match, and congrats to rowlet for learning aerial ace." Brassius announced. In one sentence he explained everything.

Aeiral ace was not only a flying move stronger than peck, it also had a homing function of sorts. This was how rowlet landed the seemingly impossible hit.

Learning a new move or wining the match wasn't even close to the best thing among today's event compared to what was about to happen.

Rowlet's entire body glowed with a bright while light. His body increased in size. When the light faded, Dartrix revealed himself too the world.

As Daniel and the surrounding pokemon congratulate dartrix on his evolution, Daniel gained a small boost in his strength. His perception had a great increase. Daniel checked dartrix's info

Dartrix had learnt several moves and had a massive increase in terms of mastery. Dartrix could now be considered as an advanced pokemon.

This also meant that Daniel would automatically become a beginner trainer, or would become on as soon as he had his official license.

An increase in status would mean access to more tasks issued under the league system which would help him earn in the future. His parent's money was indirectly how he got to this stage, all his food and travel was funded by them.

Currently he focused on Dartrix. He had planned to celebrate his last day in Paldea anyways. He spent the day enjoying with his pokemon until the sun set.

Before he left, Brassius decided to give him a farewell gift. Daniel now held an object that looked like a black coloured pokeball with a solid ring in place of its opening and a black hexagonal crystal in place of its button. This unassuming object was nothing else but a tera orb.

"Don't be surprised. The tera orb is often given to powerful or promising trainers. If you're anywhere in paldea you can ask a pokemon center to recharge the orb for you. In other places like Kanto, you need to wait for the tera energy to recharge. Also make sure the battle you use it in allows terastalization before using it."

Kanto was one of the regions that took part in the Pokemon World Championships held in the Galar region. This meant that mega evolutions, z-moves and dynamax was allowed anywhere. The pokemon league recognized almost anything that was considered fair and a part of a trainer's strength and this included terastalization. Other competitions and even gym battles were a different story since they often set their own rules.

He then bid his farewell and went off to take his flight back to Kanto. He wasn't even an official trainer and had been to three different regions including his own. He now needed to focus on his growth while traveling and battling like most trainers do. Travelling was considered the fastest way to grow on a pokemon journey.
