After the rankings were announced, the remaining 433 examinees were greeted by a professor.

" Congratulations, you are now a student of Alloces Academy. "

The 433 examinees now students of Alloces Academy felt relief when they heard the professor's words.

" You are granted 1 year to study at the Alloces Academy to become a Mage of Goetia Kingdom. But first, all of you need to acquire your Grimoires and your first element. I am Risid. The one in charge of the Grimoire Library. The first 20 follow me to the Grimoire Library. After the first 20 have been selected by a Grimoire and chosen their first or only element, the next 20 would be called and guided to the Grimoire Library of the Alloces Academy. "

Risid started walking and the first 20 ranked examinees now students followed him. Among those student is Rumpel Stelzehaut. Ranked last among the 1st Rank 1-20 students.

Every step that they take closer to Grimoire Academy fills Rumpel with nervousness and anticipation.

He wonders what kind of Grimoire would he acquire and what basic element should he choose.

In the Goetia Kingdom, even with its limited mana and magic, a human that has the potential to be a mage can acquire any magic that exists. Students of Magic Academies once they become students would granted access to the basic elements of Magic.

The Five Elements.

Fire, Water, Wood, Metal and Earth Magic. It doesn't matter how compatible a beginner mage to a basic element. As long as they want it, the Magic Academies would grant them the ability to use one of the basic elements.

Rumpel once upon a time like some readers of Noir Hero's Revenge wondered about a what-if scenario. An imagined scenario where he becomes a beginner mage at Goetia Kingdom.

He wondered what basic element would he choose.

Wood Magic, The first element. It consist of Offensive, Defensive and Support spells. It specializes the most in Support Spells. Weak to Fire Magic Users.

Fire Magic, The 2nd element. It specializes in Offensive Spells and it has the most destructive capabilities among the 5 elements.

Next is the Earth Magic. It specializes in Defensive Magic and is the 2nd strongest when it comes to defensive capabilities.

Followed after Earth Magic is the Metal Magic. Capable of Both Offensive and Defensive Spells. However, it wasn't capable of any healing spells.

The last is the water magic. Consists of Offensive, Defensive, and Healing spells. It has all-around capabilities flexible and malleable like the Wood Magic.

Among those 5 Basic Elements of Magic, Rumpel wondered what he should choose.

Minutes later, they finally arrived at the Grimoire Library. All of the 20 newly accepted students inside the Grimoire Library gasped in awe as they took sight of the very large expanse of the library surrounding them. It was magnificent and full of grandeur.

Risid's silver eyes took their awe and admiration towards the Grimoire Library with calmness.

" Now that you have looked at the Grimoire Library, it is now time for you to be chosen by the Grimoires. "

Various murmurs and intrigue cross the student's face. Among them was Rumpel.

The Original Rumpel didn't know about this. He, on the other hand, had read it being mentioned in the novel. However, he hasn't seen it. This would be the first that he would witness it personally and experience it.

" All of the Grimoires here in the library contain 40 pages. "

Rumpel couldn't help but sigh. He already expected these results. Moving from a lower region and studying there would result in him gaining fewer benefits from the Alloces Academy.

He knows that Grimoires from the 3rd Region's Academy has a total of 640. Despite that, Alloces Academy's Grimoires is better than the Grimoires from the 9th layer which only has 10 pages.

Forget 9-circle magic spells, they were only capable of executing 2 3rd Circle Magic Spells and one 2nd Circle Magic Spell if they decided to maximize its use.

Rumpel could cast a 5th circle magic spell in the future. That's if he only remained a student here at Alloces Academy.

The Grimoires even if they were chosen by those sacred items of mages, even if they would be connected to their soul, wouldn't be their only Grimoire from the beginning to the end.

Mages could replace their Grimoires once they have been given a new opportunity and judged by their Grimoires to be incompatible with anymore.

Rumpel wouldn't only remain a lowly beginner mage or only end up as a 5th circle mage. He would be more than that.

After graduating as a student his goal was to become a mage of one of the 72 powers. From there, become stronger, make connections, and become a Magic Tower Lord.

If he became a Magic Tower Lord, Rumpel wouldn't be so afraid that many people would hunt him down.

He would have the status and power to stand up by himself.

Professor Rigid walks to the center of the Grimoire Library. Holding his metallic staff he thrust it hard and forward to the ground. It made a clattering loud noise.

" Think of one of the basic elements that you want to gain access to use. "

Suddenly, some of the Grimoires started leaving and floating away from the bookshelves making their way to the new 20 students.

" Ughh... "

' Metal! '

A Grimoire rushed towards Rumpel crushing to his face. It hurts so bad. However, despite the pain, he didn't forget about Professor Rigid's instruction.

The white-covered Grimoire changed its color and became a metallic gray colored book. Floating in front of him and opening.

[ Rumpel Stelzehaut has been granted Metal Magic ]

[ Rumpel Stelzehaut is now a beginner Metal Mage. ]

On the first page of the Metal Grimoire, words and symbols started appearing.

[ 1st Circle Metal Magic Spell Acquired ]

[ Iron needle Spell Acquired ]

1st Circle magic spells are shit so there's no need for Rumpel to complain since he expected this outcome.

He just needed to study and start practicing magic until he learned more spells and became stronger.

" Earth Spike! "

" Thorn Trap... "

" Splash? "

" Ember? "

" Earth Ball? "

" Water needle? "

Rumple could also hear a bunch of shitty 1st Circle magic spells being muttered by the other new students. A smile was revealed on his face.

However, he couldn't but sigh when Rumpel learned of Faust, Gretchen, and Wagner, and even Tabitha's first circle magic spells. Showing their great potential in the future as great mages.

" White Flame Ball? "

Muttered Faust.

" I got Ice Arrow! "

Gretchen exclaimed.

" Compressed Earth Shield. "

Wagner says.

" Summon: Entrapping poisoned thorned vines? "

Even the 3 of those people would be death with horrible fates, Rumpel could admit that this world still loved and blessed them in its own way. Rumpel couldn't be compared to this natives right now even with his status as a Stray from another world.
