001 The Transmigration

"Hey! Look out!!!"

Victor heard a voice yelling from behind as he crossed the road, but as he was about to turn toward the source to see what it was, his eyes went wide open when he saw a huge truck right in front of him.

BANG

Victor flew like a broken kite as the truck hit him, flying toward an oncoming car on the opposite side of the road.

BANG

THUD

He crashed the running car into the side before he fell onto the road with a thud.

'Ah! Am I dying?' Victor asked himself as he felt his life slipping away.

'If only….'

......…..

In an unknown world,

"Raka" A woman called a man who seemed to be in his teens. She had a motherly look on her face with brown eyes and black wavy hair that draped down to her tanned skin. A leather cloth tied around her waist and her chest, covering her nether regions.

"Raka!" the woman called again, her eyes hinting at a bit of worry as she gazed at her sleeping son.

"O spirits, why are you testing my son like this? He has his awakening ceremony in the afternoon!" the woman said as she looked up.

'I hope he awakens fire or ice. If not…' the woman mumbled inwardly as she bit her lip, anxiety clawing her heart.

She looked down at her son, her expression soft, "Raka!"

"Ah!" Suddenly, the young man opened his eyes, his golden eyes looking around in confusion while breathing hard.

"Where am I?" the boy whispered as he looked around.

His gaze fell on the woman kneeling in front of him.

Her brown eyes met his golden eyes, sparkling in confusion.

"Raka," the woman whispered, her hand gently caressing the boy's cheek. "Are you feeling well, son?" the woman asked softly, her eyes moistening as she looked at him.

"W-What!??" The boy blurted out as he looked around him, his heart beating wildly as he took a look at his surroundings.

He was in what seemed like a primitive hut with walls made out of mud and wood, walls decorated with the bones of various animals, some of which Victor couldn't identify.

'Where the hell am I?'

"Raka, my son," the woman called out again, feeling increasingly worried as her son was acting weird.

Suddenly, Victor felt a mild headache; "ugh," he clutched his head as the memories fled from his mind.

"Raka," the woman said once again as she tightly hugged her son, her ample bosom burying his head in her.

Raka went silent for a few minutes as his mother hugged her son, tears flowing down her face as she held her son.

"Haha," suddenly, the boy in her arms chuckled as he hugged his mother back.

"I am fine, mother." He mumbled, his hands gently rubbing her mother's back.

"Mmhh," the woman hummed; she felt her son's heartbeat calm down and knew that he was telling the truth.

But still, she didn't let go, "I am worried," she whispered as she buried her face in his shoulders.

Raka's (victor) turned complicated as he knew what his mother was talking about: "the awakening ceremony, huh?" He mumbled.

The woman nodded her head, waiting for his response.

Raka's golden eyes flickered with resolution as he held his mother in his arms.

"Don't worry, mother. I will make sure you and the mothers are safe. I will not let you or them be taken away from me." Raka reassured; he pulled her away from him and met her eyes, his resoluteness filled with confidence and determination.

The woman's expression relaxed visibly as she noticed her son's confident expression, 'O spirits, help my son achieve his goals!' She prayed earnestly as her hands caressed her son's face.

Raka smiled softly at his mother and said, "You should go and prepare for the ceremony, Mother. I will come out in a few minutes."

The woman hesitated for a moment but agreed in the end and walked out of the hut. She had much to prepare but came to check on her son.

After confirming that the woman had left, Raka jumped in the air with joy as he yelled, "Fuck yeah!"

His face was brimming with vigor and excitement as he punched the air repeatedly.

"Haha!"

Calming himself down after some moments, Raka sat down on the ground, closing his eyes. "I never thought I would get transmigrated!" he mumbled with a wide grin.

He was a physics grad in his past life with not much action. "But now that I am here," he mumbled as he clenched his fists with excitement, "I will fulfill my desires!"

His wide grin turned perverted as he recalled the information he received from the memories of the boy.

'This is a primitive world with not much magic developed as in those fantasy worlds,' he commented; he was an avid reader of web novels and was very excited about this.

'From the memories, it seems the people of this world awakened an element at the age of 15, and now, I too will awaken.'

The elements they awaken can range from wind, earth, water, fire, light, darkness, ice.

'And the way to become powerful is to understand your element and use it more.' Raka nodded his head in satisfaction as he didn't need to, unlike the common fantasy tropes, and didn't have to consume mana cores or absorb the mana from the air.

"And it also seems like I am in a perilous situation." He mumbled as he recalled the memories he received.

Raka is the son of the chief who died mysteriously a month ago.

According to the rules of the tribe, the chief's son should become the new chief, but there is also an opportunity for the tribesmen to snatch the title through a sacred duel.

And that is why the awakening ceremony is an important event in one's life, as it will determine how important you are to the tribe.

Fire, water, and earth are considered valuable, while dark awakeners are shunned and exiled.

The light awakeners are treated with respect as they are known for their healing ability, but the respect was not enough to become the tribe's chief.

"And there's that rule," Raka mumbled with a grin reaching his ears. He was most excited for this one and couldn't wait to get through this ceremony.

The new tribe chief, if he wishes to, can claim the women of the previous tribe chief for himself and has the right to bear children with them.
