Why can't he believe me

"What are you doing here?" Lin Feng enquired Liu Ying. As his dark eyes were staring at Liu Ying, ready to make a hole in her. Liu Ying gulped in fear of seeing Lin Feng out of the blue. She bowed her head and thought about what she should answer.

Lin Feng saw Liu Ying, who said nothing.

He tilted his head to the other side, towards where Linxiao was standing, who looked nervously to the core with the thought of how she could face him. What she would say to Lin Feng, why, and what she is doing here.

Lin Feng's both hands were behind his back on his white color royal robe. He glared at the person in front of him.

"Brother.." Linxiao wanted to speak before, so he could not scold Liu Ying for the mistake which she didn't have done. Instead, it's her mistake to come out of the palace, when his Majesty had given the order that she can't go outside.

However, it shocked Linxiao after hearing what the next sentence Lin Feng had said.

"When did a stranger have the nerve to disrespect a prince and call him brother?" Lin Feng glared into Linxiao's eye with his raised brows.

"Huh!" Linxiao did not understand why he said something like that to her. But Hearing his words, both Linxiao and Liu Ying look at Lin Feng dumbfounded.

Linxiao didn't expect that Lin Feng would also not notice his sister.

when she would wear a man's clothes.

Liu Ying and Linxiao both stare into each other's eyes as they conclude.

How did they forget Linxiao had worn a man's clothes now, then how could Lin Feng recognize Linxiao?

Taking advantage of that, Linxiao looked at Lin Feng and bowed her head in front of him.

"Apology to Prince, that I did not recognize you." Linxiao leaned her head, extending both her hands forwards. as she bends on her knees in front of Lin Feng. She apologized and pleaded for his forgiveness in a male voice.

However, ignoring a man in front of him, who bowed to him, Lin Feng stared at Liu Ying, who didn't say a word when he asked about what she was doing here.

Linxiao knew her brother was a sweet person but when he gets angry, it would change him in a second.

Lin Feng stared at Liu Ying, expecting what she would say. But Liu Ying's eyes innocently looked towards Linxiao, who was still kneeling in her place. As they were asking Linxiao what she should tell Prince Lin Feng.

Following her sight, Lin Feng looked towards a man who was wearing blue commoner clothes and bowed to him.

"Raise!" Lin Feng ordered Linxiao to get up.

Lin Feng did not make a fuss about it and forgave Linxiao.

"Thank you, Prince Lin Feng, for forgiving my mistake." Linxiao stood and extended both hands to bow her head a little to show her greetings and honor to him.

Both Liu Ying and Linxiao look into each other's eyes.

At least both were at peace that Lin Feng does not know about Linxiao identity.

After that, Lin Feng brought his sight back to Liu Ying.

Liu Ying clutched the corner fabric of her clothes as she was thinking roughly what she should tell. What she is doing here. when Linxiao could not help her in this situation.

"I am here to buy some stuff," she blurted out. Whatever excuse came to her mind at this moment., lifting her head.

She looked at Lin Feng. 

As she wasn't able to figure out what excuse she should give to Lin Feng.

Only this came out in her mind.

Lin Feng nods his head, listening to Liu Ying's explanation.

But he was still staring at her as he did not believe whatever she had told. Instead, his eyes wandered at the man who was beside Liu Ying. As he examined him from head to toe.

Lin Feng was looking at her and Linxiao, as Liu Ying thought. He did not believe what she said.

'I already had said what I should, so why can't he believe me?' Liu Ying thought as Lin Feng was still staring at her.

Lin Feng looked at the man and wanted to ask who was the person beside her and why she was with him, and many questions. 

But before he could ask his General, Shi Rong came to his side and bowed his head.

"Your Highness, we have found the person you were looking for." General Shi-Rong informed Lin Feng.

Lin Feng turned toward general Shi Rong and nodded at him. Whose heads still lowered in front of Lin Feng.

After that, he looked towards Liu Ying and stated "at this hour, you should have been in the palace".

"Yes, your highness, I was about to head back to the palace," Liu Ying says, and lowered her head and from the corner of her eyes, she looked at Linxiao.

On the other hand, Linxiao was standing and did not say a word, when nothing asked her, knowing that she could not interfere in the middle. When the crown prince was conversing with others, it had nothing to her. If she interfered, more than that may disclose her identity.

But at this moment she felt helpless that she wasn't able to help Liu Ying from her elder brother, Lin Feng, who was asking her questions.

"Just go back and don't wander here and there. If you have nothing to do,'' Lin Feng ordered Liu Ying.

It was not a suggestion but a statement which Lin Feng had said. Understanding it, Liu Ying nodded her head in agreement with Lin Feng.

After looking towards a man one more time, Lin Feng left from there with general Shi Rong.

 Linxiao sensed the cold and piercing glare of Lin Feng on her body. She felt relief when Lin Feng finally left from there.

Linxiao kept her hand on her chest and took a deep breath as she felt much relaxed seeing Lin Feng Out of her sight. And the same goes for Liu Ying, who also feels relaxed.

Taking a deep breath Liu Ying said, "Xiao Tong it saved us that Prince Lin Feng did not recognize you".
