Standoff

"Captain Yixin, according to multiple reports and witnesses, the fight was instigated by the Young Master of the Kuangge family, and his target was Ye Fan, a man that had came back from overseas just a few days ago." After Jiang Yixin had stepped out of the police cruiser, one of the officers swiftly came up to her and stated all of the information they had so far.

Jiang Yixin didn't reply to the officer but just hurriedly walked over to the entrance of the hotel lobby.

All of the officers weren't surprised by her cold actions and just followed right behind her.

"Freeze! Everyone don't move and stay where you are!" After stepping inside of the hotel lobby, all of the officers had drawn out their guns aiming at everyone that was still standing.

All of the gangsters that were still conscious were extremely horrified and didn't even dare to resist after seeing Jiang Yixin.

Let alone them, just a group of ordinary gangsters, even some of the other rich second generations wouldn't even dare go against the Jiang family.

Only the 10 major families would have the ability to oppose the Jiang family, but it would cost quite a bit of resources in order to do so, and they knew that Ronald only saw them as cannon fodders.

After all of the 20 remaining gangsters have been put into custody, and called over an ambulance for everyone else, all of the police officers slowly turned their heads towards Jiang Yixin, seemingly waiting for her next orders.

None of them wanted to be the ones to put handcuffs on the eldest daughter of the Roulin family or the maid and the Young Master of the Kuangge family as they were just police officers that came from an ordinary background.

If either of them ended up memorizing the face of the police officer who had arrested them, they knew that that they wouldn't live to see another day.

Jiang Yixin obviously saw the officer's reaction and naturally knew what they were worried about, however she planned to take this matter into her own hands and slowly walked over to Ronald.

Halfway through however, someone suddenly stood in her way.

"Miss Jiang, what do you think you're trying to do right now?" Xie Roulin knew that Jiang Yixin was the one who arrested Ronald in her previous life since she was the one who had called and told her everything Ronald had done after she left to talk more about business with Ye Fan.

Although Xie Roulin didn't know why Jiang Yixin had showed up in advance in this life since she hadn't even called her yet and wasn't planning to, she knew that Jiang Yixin had ill intent towards Ronald, so she stepped in, in order to prevent Jiang Yixin from doing anything to Ronald.

"Call me Captain Jiang while I'm on duty. Also this matter has nothing to do with you. Since you're not involved with this incident, you're free to go, however don't interfere with my investigations otherise you'll get a felony charge." Jiang Yixin glared at Xie Roulin and the bodyguards standing behind her and stated coldly.

Jiang Yixin wanted Xie Roulin to leave now so she doesn't cause any harm to Ronald.

Even though Jiang Yixin was surprised and ecstatic at the fact that Ronald haven't suffered any injuries yet in this life, she knew that Xie Roulin hated Ronald to the bones and worked with Ye Fan in her past life in order to cause both Ronald and the Kuangge family to suffer.

"If you want to get to Ronald, you'll have to get pass me first." Xie Roulin signaled her bodyguards and they all pulled out their guns and aimed it at Jiang Yixin and all of the police officers present.

"Are you planning on using Ronald as a hostage right now?" After seeing Xie Roulin's bodyguards draw out their weapons, all of the other police officers also pointed their guns at Xie Roulin and her bodyguards.

Although the police officers could've had made the first shot when Xie Roulin's bodyguards were drawing out their weapons, they didn't want to cause a scene in the hotel lobby and possibly risk their lives.

However, now that Xie Roulin's bodyguards had also drawn out their guns, it was too late to regret it now and the tension on both sides was at an all-time high.

Just as anything else significant happened, there was a sudden interruption that vibrated through everyone's ears.

"Guys stop! STOP IT! Stop causing unnecessary drama and lower your fucking guns!" Ronald, who had also noticed the tension interrupted everyone.

Ronald just couldn't understand, why do these heroines keep causing so much unnecessary drama onto themselves. Even if the heroine's personality had completely changed, do they really have to start an entire war in the hotel lobby just to take him into custody?

No matter what happens, he is determined to get arrested today and get his vacation of two weeks in jail!

And with that in mind, Ronald started to walk towards Jiang Yixin.

"Young Master! Wait! Come back!" Iris tried to grab Ronald's arm, but Ronald's reaction time was too fast and he swiftly avoided her.

"Young Master Kuangge, I'll handle it from here, so don't worry abo-" Just as Xie Roulin was about to finish her sentence and prevent Ronald from going any further, Ronald suddenly interrupted her.

"Shut up. I'm doing this because you brainless idiots don't know when you're taking it too far." Ronald stated in a harsh tone and made everyone present stare at him in a dumbfound state.

Everyone couldn't help but complain in their heads that a brainless idiot was now telling other people to stop being brainless idiots.

Ronald also thought that it was ironic how he was the one who had to lecture the heroines for being a bunch of idiots when his original personality was exactly like that, but he wanted to provoke the heroines in order for them to stop causing unnecessary drama.

"Here Captain Yixin, your original purpose for coming here was to arrest me, right?" Ronald came to Jiang Yixin and raised his two arms infront of her.

While Ronald still had his arms dangling in the air, he took a good look at Jiang Yixin and had to admit that even though he had no favorable opinions about Jiang Yixin, her light blue long hair and blue eyes makes her look absolutely stunning.

"..." Jiang Yixin stared at Ronald with a guilty and distressed look in her eyes and she wanted to tell him that everything was going to be alright, but she couldn't mutter any words.

"Why are you just standing there like an idiot? Are you going to handcuff me or not?" Seeing that Jiang Yixin didn't say anything, Ronald was worried that he won't be able to start his next plot of spending 2 weeks in jail, and said in a more aggressive and hostile tone.

"Ahhh... you don't need to wear handcuffs, just come follow me to my police cruiser." Jiang Yixin didn't want to handcuff Ronald just like she did in her previous life and give him a negative first impression about her.

"Okay." Although Ronald had no idea why she didn't handcuff him just like she did in his previous life, he was overjoyed by the fact that he was about to spend 2 weeks in jail without any further interruption from the heroines and didn't think much about it.
