Preparing To Visit The Capital City (1)

After waking up in the morning and notifying Gu Changsheng to come over to the Kuangge household to pick him up, Ronald started to pack up some of his belongings to bring over to the capital city.

Just as Ronald finished packing up everything he needed in order to stay over at the capital city for a few weeks...

*Ring ring* Ronald's phone started to ring.

'Hope it isn't any of the heroines calling me.' Ronald grabbed the ringing phone inside of this pocket and saw that it was his father calling him.

"Hey d-" Before Ronald could even finish greeting his father...

"SON! GET THE HELL OUT OF THAT HOUSE RIGHT NOW! I'VE ALREADY BOOKED YOU A TICKET TO THE BAHAMAS!" Arnold shouted through the phone call.

"Huh? Why?" Ronald was completely dumbfounded when he heard his father telling him to get out of the house.

He recalled that his father actually cared for him a lot and even regarded him as someone more important than anything else in the entire world.

"I HEARD THAT THE PRINCESS OF THE LEIGHTON FAMILY HAD ENTERED OUR HOUSE JUST RECENTLY, I DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE HAS BEEN DOING OVER THERE BUT I TOLD ALL OF THE GUARDS AND STAFFS TO BLOCK OUT THE ROOM SHE'S CURRENTLY IN RIGHT NOW UNTIL YOU CAN ESCAPE!"

Arnold was extremely concerned for his son after hearing that his son let the the Princess of the Leighton family live inside of the Kuangge household.

Even though he didn't know why his son let Princess Sophia live inside of the Kuangge household, he had a feeling that his son didn't do it out of his own free will.

After all, not only was Arnold well aware of the fact that his son had tried to kidnap the Princess of the Leighton family and failed to do so, but he also knew that his son only had Luna in his heart.

So Arnold decided to buy some time for his son to quickly leave the Kuangge household before Princess Sophia and the Leighton family could harm his son any further.

"I know what you're thinking about dad, but believe me, she's not planning on doing anything bad to me, she just wants to live in this house for some reason." Ronald could understand his father's concerns for him and reassured him that everything was going to be fine.

From an outsider's perspective, especially after everything that has happened so far in the last couple of weeks, it seemed like the Leighton family was dead-set on destroying the Kuangge family.

However Ronald knew that Princess Sophia loved him and just wanted to move into the Kuangge household in order to stay with him longer.

"Are you sure son?" Arnold asked in a slightly suspicious tone.

Although he didn't know how or why Ronald had allowed Princess Sophia to move into their household, he could tell that his son was being honest.

And besides, there was never a need for his son to lie to him anyways.

"Yeah I'm positive. By the way, I want to let you know that I plan on heading over to the capital city of China today and staying over there for the next couple of weeks."

"Oh okay I don't mind, is there any reason why you're going over to the capital city of China though?" Arnold asked in a confused tone.

His son has never once traveled to any other different city or provinces even if Arnold had to go to a different city for work related matters since the Kuangge strength was most dominant in this city.

"Oh I'm going on vacation with my friend Gu Changsheng, I met him in jail about two weeks ago and he invited me to come hang out with him over at the capital city." Ronald stated nonchalantly.

"Wait, you said that you're friends with Gu Changsheng? The son of the Gu family over at the capital city? Haha I'm proud of you son! Make sure you bring enough money to hire a decent amount of temporary bodyguards to keep you protected for a couple of days until I fly over some of our family bodyguards to the capital city. Also try your best not to offend any of the major families over at the capital city."

"Alright dad, talk to you later." Ronald then hung up the phone call, grabbed his luggages, and then started to make his way towards his bedroom doors.

When Ronald opened his bedroom doors, he could see Iris patiently standing on the opposite sides of the door seemingly on guard against something, or most likely against someone else...

"Good morning Young Master." The moment Iris saw Ronald open his bedroom doors, she greeted Ronald and bow her head.

"If you don't mind me asking, are you going somewhere today, Young Master?" Even though Iris tried to sound unconcerned, she couldn't help but started to get extremely angry just thinking about everything that Ronald had experienced in his previous life after he had arrived at the capital city.

Back in her previous life when Iris had gone to the capital city with Ronald, she recalled that the moment they had step foot into the Gu household and met Gu Changsheng's sister, she grabbed Ronald by the neck and started strangling him until he was on the verge of falling unconscious.

Afterwards, she started to torture Ronald for a couple of hours straight until she was satisfied and then left Ronald alone... only for the rest of the day that is.

That's right, ever since Ronald had stepped foot into the Gu residences, Ronald was consistently getting tortured by Gu Changsheng's sister nonstop every single day during the entire duration of his stay at the Gu household.

And as for the reason why Gu Changsheng's sister immediately started to torture Ronald the moment they had met?

It was just because she hated Ronald's reputation.

Yep, that stupid and pathetic excuse of a reason was why she had decided to torture Ronald.

Just thinking about it right now made Iris want to completely rip Gu Changsheng sister's head off and use her as an example of what happens when someone even dares to try and touch Ronald.

However, as much as Iris really wanted to kill Gu Changsheng's sister, she was well aware of how powerful Gu Changsheng's sister actually was.

Not only did Gu Changsheng's sister have the entirety of the Gu family backing her up, but she was also the leader of one of the most powerful and infamous underground organizations in the entirety of China.

This underground organization that Gu Changsheng's sister controlled was so powerful that they even had started to make a name for themselves back over at the Western and Eastern worlds.

So even though Iris really wanted to assassinate Gu Changsheng's sister now, she knew that she definitely wouldn't be able to cleanly do so without getting caught and putting Ronald in harm's way.

But even if she couldn't assassinate Gu Changsheng's sister now, that didn't mean that she couldn't do anything to Gu Changsheng's sister.

After all, Iris was still widely notorious in the Western World as one of the deadliest assassins in the entire underground scenes.

So with that in mind, Iris had planned to pack up some weapons and bring in some extremely deadly toxins in order to give Gu Changshang's sister a taste of her own medicine.
