Golden Cobra's Facility (1)

Back over in China, as red lights were flaring in an extremely big white facility seemingly in the middle of a grassy fields located miles away from the outskirts of the capital city...

"WHERE THE HELL IS HE A- ARGH!"

"DON'T FALTER DOWN! IT'S JUST ONE GUY! AS LONG AS WE CONTINUE AMBUSHING HIM IN NUMBERS HE'LL EVENTUALLY GET TIR- ARRGH!"

"SECTOR C HAS BEEN BREACHED! WHERE THE HELL ARE THE SUPER SOLDIERS A- AHHHHHHHH!"

The anguished screams of soldiers who were tasked to protect the facility could be heard throughout parts of the facility.

"W-we need to abandon Sector C now and meet up with the reinforcements located at the entrance of Sector D immediately." A man who stood out from the rest of the entire soldiers present in the facility due to his decked out silver armor screamed out at the top of his lungs.

"B-but Sir! W-we can't abandon Sector C now, otherwise it'll reve-" The soldier, who was standing next to the silver armored man couldn't help but start to talk back to the silver armored man's orders.

But before the soldier could finish his words however, his head immediately exploded out of thin air.

"Anyone else dare goes against my orders?" The silver armored man irritably asked.

All of the 100 soldiers or so present, who had seen their second in command officer for Sector C's head explode randomly, nobody else dared to even let out a squeak.

"Okay, now everyone hurry up and follow behind me. Anybody that ends up lagging behind for even a millisecond will immediately be abandoned!" The man in silver armor shouted and then quickly ran through the hallways that were flashing with red lights in order to meet up with the reinforcements at Sector D with the 100 other soldiers present, while leaving behind a few unlucky soldiers who were unaware of the man's commands behind.

Ronald, who was actually the one who had caused the war in the facility to begin with, quickly finished off the remaining soldiers who didn't follow the silver armored man's commands in a blink of an eye, and then stared at all of the soldiers who were running away with the silvered man far down the hallway with an expressionless look on his eyes.

Even though Ronald could've easily caught up to them in a blink of an eye, he chose not to pursue them since he had no plans to enter Sector D to begin with.

After watching all of the 100 soldiers make a right turn in the hallways and disappear from his sights, he couldn't help but turn around from the direction he had came from, close his eyes, and silently take a whiff of the air that heavily smelled like blood.

'Seems like I haven't forgotten about it after all.' Ronald couldn't help but think to himself while the scent of blood ran through his nose.

Then after Ronald had opened back his eyes again, he couldn't help but stare at all of the mess that he had made.

Although it was his first time in this second life massacring hundreds upon hundreds of people with his own hands, Ronald showed no sympathy or felt any remorse towards any of the fallen soldiers at all.

And it wasn't because these soldiers were all evil natured or did something that Ronald could never forgive.

In fact, most of these soldiers despite being extremely well trained and were mostly up to par with a Expert Martial Artists in terms of combat power, probably lived normal lives and had families eagerly waiting for them to return back from work.

It was just that they were unlucky and had stood at the wrong end of the table.

Nevertheless, Ronald didn't have time to continuously stare at the gruesome scene any longer, and continued walking down the red flashing hallways in a spine-chilling fashion.

Then after walking for a few more minutes and taking the left path of an intersection he had came across by, he saw a rusty iron door of some sort, in which he didn't hesitate to kick down at all.

Upon kicking down the rusty iron doors with his legs, hundreds of glass cells could be seen throughout the entire corridor.

And these weren't just ordinary glass cells however, as depressed human beings that seemed to all be wearing some sort of psychiatric outfit could be seen in each glass cells.

Or in other words, they were the test subjects for the facility.

And as for what the kind of experiments these people had gone through?

Well Ronald really had no clue, nor did he really care anyways.

Judging from some of the horrendous appearance some of these people had however, it seemed like these people had gone through absolute hell.

Of course, they didn't have as bad of an appearance compared to the appearance Iris had at the moment, but their appearance was still enough to make any normal man gag, vomit, and even have a heart attack.

But Ronald was completely numb to it all.

After all...

'...'

Well anyways, Ronald didn't even bother glancing at any of the test subjects for even a fraction of a second and just continued to walk down the corridors, completely ignoring the banging of the glass walls and screeching cries for help that were echoing throughout the entire corridor.

Then after walking through the corridors for a few more minutes and entering through another iron door, a gigantic and quite unsettling grey room with probably a thousand white doors all plastered throughout the top of the ceilings all the way down to the bottom of the floors was visibly seen.

Almost as if the room was made to be an illusion of some sort.

But despite all of the doors being present however, Ronald couldn't sense any any living beings behind any of the doors whatsoever...

Except for one of the doors.

So Ronald made his way towards that door.

And then after entering through that door...

"Hmm..."

"It seems like you've had it far worse than I've thought while you were trapped here."

"Wouldn't you have to agree with me..."

"Lin Minyi?"
