Chapter 16: An Elite Mission

In The Elite Guard HQ – In The City Of Iacon – On The Planet Cybertron

Autobot soldiers were monitoring a certain planet for suspicious activity. They had recently been notified of increased Decepticon activity on Earth. After reading a few files and some data obtained by Cybertron Intelligence, the Elite Guard managed to get a better understanding of the situation. Thus, they opted to send a strike force, under the supervision of General Gyrostream, to Earth to recover the fugitives. Even though the War was over, these remained dangerous times, meaning they couldn't just allow a team of Decepticons to covertly operate on Earth. It was a threat to intergalactic security.

"Are you prepared for this mission General?", Shadowstorm questioned.

"Yes sir!", He replied firmly.

"Then go with your team to the hangar. There's an Elite Guard ship waiting for you. It isn't The Hyperion, but another , very powerful ship, called The Darkstar."

"Understood!"

The Elitte Guard strike team then left to prepare for departure.

In The Hangar

They exited the elevator and boarded their ship.

On The Bridge

Gyrostream sat down in the Captain seat, as the others took the seats in front of and next to him.

"Engines at 250% capacity.", A soldier reported.

"Coordinates have been entered. All systems go. We are ready for takeoff General."

"Understood. On this very day, the fate of the entire universe hangs in the balance. For Earth, for Cybertron, for humanity, for our comrades no longer with us, We must stop the Decepticons."

The sip flew through the Spacebriudge.

On Earth – In The USA- At The Outskirts Of Los Angeles

The ship landed and cloaked itself.

"We have not only been chosen due to our status as an elite combat unit, but also because NEST and The Autobots are busy with something in another part of the globe. As such, they are unavailable now."

"Understood. Shall I pull up the fugitives' criminal files?", A soldier questioned.

"Yes. Once we have a better understanding of them, along with a present location , we shall formulate a capture plan , to neutralize them with as minimal trouble as possible."

"Yes sir.", The soldier acknowledged, pulling up the files.

"So, the prisoners are: Saberhorn , an elite warrior and high ranking officer of Megatron ,

Glowstrike, also an elite warrior and high ranking officer, Stockade , an expert tactician and one of the most ruthless generals in the Decepticon Army , he was incarcerated into the Cybertron – Maximum – Security – Prison following the end of the Great War , but managed to escape , Cyan an expert strategist, who served in the Decepticon Army as one of its greatest officers.

These six are very dangerous and must be apprehended as soon as possible.", The General stated.

Seven Hours Later

The fugitives were all hunted down, arrested and locked up. The Elite Guard then departed for Cybertron.

Back At The Elite Guard HQ – On Cybertron

The Decepticons were locked up in the HQ' prison block and The Elite Guard team returned to the control room to give their report.

"Excellent work. We have saved Cybertron once again.", Shadowstorm said as they finished giving their report.
