Chapter 10: Stopping Starscream's Assault

In A Decepticon Controlled Sector Of Space

A familiar group of robots was seen aboard a warship. It was the former Decepticon Air Commander Starscream with his deadly squadron of Seekers and the remainder of The Decepticon Fleet, who have taken the lives of billions of Autobots and Neutrals during The Great War. They, along with the Combaticons and a few others, managed to escape from The Cybertron Maximum Security Prison, located in their home planet's capitol city of Iacon. Following the escape, they contacted a bunch of Decepticon squads, hiding in the darkest Depths of Space. Starscream thought it was best to maintain movement, to avoid detection from any Autobot forces stationed close by, or The Cybertron Elite Guar

"Last thing we need is The Autobots' most efficient combat unit kicking our afterburners.", The Ex-Air Commander thought to himself, shuddering at the mere thought of it.

He turned to look at his Seekers, smirking slightly.

Suddenly five Seekers, known as Thundercracker , Skywarp , Thrust , Dirge and Ramjet walked up to him.

"Commander Starscream , what's our next move?" , Skywarp questioned.

"I'm still devising a plan.", He answered calmly.

"Victory! Victory! Victory!", The Coneheads chanted.

But their premature celebration was quickly halted by Starscream , firing a shot from his plasma cannon.

"Will you just shut your vocalizers already! How in Primus name am I going to devise a plan to retake Cybertron with you piston heads chanting around like that?", He snapped.

"He's right.", Thundercracker agreed.

"Now, as I was saying ....", Starscream began, only to be cut off by the alarm.

"What is it now? There slag well better be a good reason for interrupting me!"

A Decepticon checked the scanners

"Commander, we have detected an Autobot Shuttle near our position. It appears to be an Elite Guard strike team.", He reported.

"Send out the Seekers!", Starscream ordered.

A Seeker team was assembled and sent out to deal with the enemies.

Aboard The Autobot Shuttle

"Sir, inbound enemy forces.", A trooper notified the captain.

"Activate the cannons and prepare for a counterattack! All Elite Guard troopers, get ready for battle!", The Captain ordered

A bunch of Decepticons , led by Demolisher, swarmed the ship, keeping thr Elite Guard busy.

But fortunately, that advantage lasted only so long and The Autobots soon defeated them.

. Back On Starscream's Warship

"No! Those fools! Can't they do anything right?", Starscream growled.

"Sir, I suggest we get out of here, before they get the opportunity to arrest us as well.", A Decepticon suggested.

"Fine! Prepare for hyperjump!"

The ship's hyperdrive was activated as it disappeared into space.

At The Elite Guard HQ – In The City Of Iacon – On The Planet Cybertron

Shadowstorm was looking at the screens, monitoring the city for any suspicious activity. They had recently gotten word of the failed capture operation. But given that it was Starscream they were dealing with, it wasn't a big surprise. He thought back to a particularly tough time during The Great War between The Autobots and The Decepticons, when a Mech and a Femme requested one of his soldiers, Hypershot , to watch over their Sparkling.

Flashback

Cybertron was in complete chaos!

Buildings were on fire and Decepticons were flying around, shooting any Autobot or Neutral they saw.

Far from the warzone, a red and black redeco of Sideswipe and a purple and yellow redeco of Nightshade were standing in front of and Autobot base

A black and green redeco of Jazz stood at the building's gate. "He's in good hands.", He reassured.

"Thank you Hypershot.", The Mech said gratefully as they shook servos.While the two were attempting to escape Cybertron aboard an Autobot Shuttle, they were spotted by General Obsidian and his team, with Obsidian personally shooting them down. They perished immediately.

The Decepticons scoured the entire planet in search of the child, but they couldn't find him. Over the years, the child would grow up and become Rodimus Major. Once him and Obsidian met in battle, Rodimus fulfilled the promise he made his parents so long ago and defeated the Decepticon General. A few years later, he was accepted into the Elite Guard.

End Of Flashback

Suddenly, the alarm sounded.

"Rotorblast to all Elite Guard units, prepare for battle!", Rotorblast's voice was heard through the speakers.

Rodimus ran into the room and saluted.

"What's our next move sir?", He asked.

"We must go help the others."

Rodimus nodded as they both transformed and drove off.

They transformed back and started fighting.

Rodimus fired his ion blaster at a group of Decepticons.

The two Autobos then used their frequency to lure Starscream and the rest of the Decepticon Fleet to them, which worked perfectly.

Starscream, his Seekers, the Combaticons and the rest of their forces were all captured.

Cybertron was saved from the Decepticon Air Commander and his associates. And from total subjugation.
