chapter 62 - Mission Accomplish

Far from the Clover Kingdom, close to the border of the continent there were resorts as the place had high temperature where many nobles visited to take vacations.

This is also the place where an underground city was currently located. It was one of the grand mana zones where clumps of dense mana accumulated.

Samshiel and the Black Bulls were on a mission to find a magic stone that The Eye of Midnight Sun was trying to find.

He thought about why didn't The Eye of Midnight Sun act quicker, it was beyond him. Right now he was sitting beside Vanessa who's laying on her front.

She turned to Samshiel seductively as she brought out a lotion, knowing her intention he immediately did his work.

"I recommend covering your mouth."

"Wha-HMmmmm!!"

Samshiel had the godly touch which could pleasure anyone who he touches. Vanessa glared at Samshiel who just chuckled and stopped using the skill and proceeded to put lotion on her.

The other Black Bulls were busy doing their things when Asta suddenly remembered their mission which promptly resulted in them being buried in the sand including Samshiel.

'...How the hell??'

Samshiel was confused about how he was buried as well?? He thought it was anime logic and just listened to Yami who began to explain their mission in getting the magic stone while telling Noelle to use her magic to enter the mana zone.

Noelle was more confident than her original counterpart since she began dating Asta. All of them went to do their things while Noelle trained her magic with Asta. As for Samshiel and Vanessa, they went inside the inner world temporally.

The next day they all gathered around waiting for Noelle to use her magic. They were suddenly enveloped in some ball shaped water magic where inside had air to breathe.

All of them descended to the underwater city, Samshiel observed the place and was amazed to see so many magical beasts which made him think about how would they taste.

"Hmmm let me try something [Shadow Aport!]"

The crab suddenly teleported to Samshiel, this made him drool. Its been a long time since Samshiel had tasted seafood. He gave it to Charmy who knew what to do and began cooking it.

While having a snack they finally arrived at what seems to be a barrier and Yami threw Asta opening an entrance.

Samshiel could always steal the gem and give to Patri but it wouldn't be as fun. He was already strong enough to kill all of them and already planted shadows with innocent people to protect them. Of course it didn't include horrible nobles.

Arriving to where the civilization existed, they were directed to one of the biggest temples. Upon entering the room they were greeted by an old man who tried to grope his woman.

Before he could act Noelle punch him which was to his luck because Samshiel would have deep fried him.

"What do you think, should we kill him?"

"I agree the old geezer is really annoying."

"Yeah that would be nice and quick. This will give me time to return to Marie."

"He looks strong why don't we fight him first?"

"WHY ARE YOU GUYS TALKING LIKE THAT!!???"

The old man proposed a game at first they declined but hearing his offer they instantly agreed excluding Vanessa who only drinks rarely.

The old man then used his magic to summon his greatest warriors to fight the Black Bulls. All of them were teleported to their respective places excluding Yami who was with the old man.

Right now Samshiel was in a dark small cave and began to walk around as he heard someone's foot steps.

"Oh this would be interesting~"

"Hey, Yami! Bet 100k on me winning in under five seconds!"

"Aren't you a cocky one!?"

He tried attacking Samshiel with water sword but the last thing he saw was Samshiel's eyes turning red with nine strange symbols.

"…Sleep."

Samshiel used his genjutsu to make his opponent fall sleep. It was a quick fight and didn't need violence.

After tying his opponent, he summoned a shadow soldier to carry the person. Walking around for a few minutes he heard the sound of a battle in the distance.

Samshiel arrived to where the battle is taking place and saw Asta somehow in his half devil form yet it was unstable and about to fade right about now.

The dark wings disappeared allowing his opponent to kick him but was teleported using Finral magic lessening the momentum.

Samshiel decided to watch them as it would be overkill if he were to join. He saw a man with a missing leg and a woman with broken vocal cords.

"Forgive me for not helping but here…"

Samshiel used his [All Curse Breaker] skill while using his vital manipulation to heal them. It didn't take a second for them to fully heal but they were extremely exhausted.

He turned to see Asta doing a final slash defeating his enemy. Samshiel smiled seeing his improvements and turned to see Vanessa. She could see the future and he knew that she would win, with her [Fate Weaver Overseer] she is impossible to be defeated unless you use an unorthodox methods.

But before they could celebrate the beastly man stood up with much more mana than before. Samshiel narrowed his eyes as he saw who was the one interfering.

"…Lucifero."

He turned to see Asta frozen then suddenly went berserk as the devil was enraged seeing Lucifero after so long.

"Time to sleep, leave the rest to me."

Samshiel used shunpo and knocked Asta out surprising the bystanders especially Noelle. He turned to Noelle and smiled.

"You know your mother will be proud seeing you fight like this."

Samshiel instantly moved and kicked the beastly man a few meters away from him. He then summoned shadow bullets as shooting a barrage of attacks.

A demonic voice echoed throughout the room as the beastly man changed his form into a much monstrous form. The beastly man had horns jetting out of his temples and another set of arms appeared alongside dark wings.

"Its finally a pleasure to meet the demon king, Lucifero, I do hope when I finally kill your vessel it would not disappoint me."

{Kukuku you are indeed intriguing outsider I will surely wait for our fun but for now let's have a warm up!}

Both of them clashed, appearing and disappearing from the bystanders' sight. Only a vice-captain level would be able to see them.

Samshiel decided to have fun and summoned Asta's anti magic sword making the beastly man grin even more.

{HAHAHA I HAVEN'T FOUGHT SOMEONE LIKE YOU BEFORE!!}

"Indeed, I am as well you are the second strongest I have ever fought."

Samshiel slashed the thick skin of his opponent leaving only a small dent. This made the beastly man grin even more and punched Samshiel straight to the face destroying the whole cave.

Thankfully Finral was able to use his magic and escaped with everyone. The smoke enveloped the scene making the spectators wait in anticipation.

"We need to help Samshiel!"

"Hahaha that's funny I doubt someone could defeat him."

Vanessa has already foreseen the future and it was revealed as the dusk cleared. The beastly man fist was still on Samshiel's face while he just raise his arms.

"That tickled, now then…[Weak force!]"

The beastly man gradually dissipated into nothingness only leaving Samshiel not even scratched from the attack.

"Damn, that was an overkill…."

He turned and looked at the Black Bulls who had their jaws dropped, Samshiel just smiled and turned to Yami.

"Hey! I won, give me my 100k!"

The next day, some of the heavily wounded members rested in one of the medical facilities. Thankfully, Asta didn't receive the curse and his arms are good because he is currently way stronger than his original counterpart.

Right now Samshiel was meditating inside his inner world as he was refining the [Yin-Yang] energy inside his dantian. The world energy seed started to absorb the yang energy greedily as it started to grow by a small margin. He could feel his meridian changing as roots sprouted sprouted from the seed.

'Fascinating….let me try something'

He began to use his [yin-yang] energy and put it into his long forgotten [Ancestral Eternal Flames] he had forgotten for some reason. Samshiel hadn't been able to use it much besides when he trained with The Monarchs.

The flame was a powerful type of fire that could burn anything easily as if devouring them. Somehow fate had played with him and he found out that it had a huge compatibility with the [Yin-Yang] energy.

He began to summon the flames and ten meters of flames shot up and proceeded to be surrounded by a swirling black and white energy.

The flame began to devour the energy becoming more and more pure. The flame was ancient based on its name but it was still incomplete.

Samshiel could feel a raging burst of energy trying to consume his sanity but held himself by his maxed parallel thought processing. The flame proceeded to burn Samshiel but he didn't feel pain rather it was an extremely comfortable feeling.

After half an hour he opened his eyes to reveal his omega and alpha irises. Samshiel gaze shifted and saw his body's impurities were removed completely.

Samshiel only nodded and felt that he needed to go to Bleach or ToDG to get soul energy. He then observed his new appearance, nothing changed except his hair which was a lot shorter like Dante.

"Well, that's a bummer but whatever. Show me the info about the new skill."
