Chapter 9 - Tempest Blade

It was morning and Caelum did his daily routine of constant mana circulation within his body while maintaining his exercise that allowed his usage of Mana to flow much easier. Now that his Mana core and Magic circuit had gotten stronger was now focusing on filling it up with an abundance of Mana. The churning of the energy seems to be absorbed into his abdomen turning a vortex that devours everything in the surrounding. 

He exhales before opening his eyes, having the mana capacity equal to elves that are known to be loved by Mana. Caelum spread his senses that allowed to precisely detect everyone with the addition of noticing the flow of Mana. 

'Oh, Noelle and Mimosa are here!'

Caelum noticed the silhouette using his senses and found them heading their way in his direction. It only took a few minutes for them to arrive led by Leopold but soon the two young girls ran up to him and normally it would push him into the ground but Caelum was able to remain standing thanks to his strength. 

"We miss you, Caelum!"

"Hahaha I miss you two."

He chuckled seeing the two looking at him with a brimming smile wanting to get pampered by him. It took a few minutes before they let go of him and sat in the shade to talk about their day. 

"What were you doing, Caelum?"

"I was training, Noelle."

"Why do you need to train? Wouldn't it be better to play around?"

"Hahaha well I can't stay weak can I?"

Caelum slightly chuckled since his purpose for being in this world is to grow stronger than everyone else and couldn't slack off knowing what the future holds. Though they were young they understood his words especially noelle since she kept being bullied and abused by her sibling with only salvation was times she visited him. 

"I wish I could be like you…."

"Perhaps in the future." 

He patted her head despite wanting to help her and was afraid that his method could prove negative for her body knowing that unlike him, Noelle doesn't have the cheat of [Unlimited potential] and [ Highest Possible Talent]. Though once she gains her grimoire aim to help in ways he is able to. 

'Cereza, is it possible to use my Mana core and Magic circuit method for her?'

[ Yes and no, unless you've reached "Foundation Establishment" or become "High Human" wouldn't be able to help her. However, I am not saying it is impossible without becoming one but the risk is definitely high. The best thing you need is ways to wait until she matures enough since her body is developing.]

'So basically once she reaches adulthood?'

[Yes, when she gain a grimoire ]

Caelum inwardly nodded not wanting to risk damaging Noelle's body from experimental methods. He then noticed Mimosa and Noelle were acting strange as they were staring at him intently. 

"What are you girls doing?"

"My mom said that staring at someone's eyes would show if they will be your partner forever." 

"Our maid said the same thing. Caelum, will you marry us in the future."

He doesn't know what to say since he's an adult with a child's body and feels like he's taking advantage of children's innocence. Of course there's no denying that he wanted them but their future self. Though, rejecting them would be bad and decided to finally check their affection. 

[Naughty, darling stealing young girls' hearts.]

'Whatever, we'll just see how the future goes but I don't plan on letting them go anyway.'

The young girls were waiting for his response before giving them a warm smile and caressing their heads receiving a blissful smile from it.

"Of course! We'll be a happy family in the future."

"We're so happy! That's a promise!"

Caelum nodded before hugging them while internally laughing because he noticed someone was watching them. It was Nozel who seemed to have his whole world shattered upon hearing his youngest sister confessing to a boy. He was conflicted on letting them be and wanting to kill Caelum for stealing his sister.

'This commoner….you better take care of my sister!'

He inwardly said before walking away while the young boy inwardly laughed giving a vague understanding of his inner turmoil. After a while, they played a few games and had role play where Caelum came to save them from bad people.  

Caelum never expected that he would act like a child but it was no different when he was playing with his sisters. He enjoyed his time with them before it was getting late and they had to return home. 

As they were about to leave, the two young girls looked at each other before nodding and surprising everyone by kissing Caelum on the cheek. 

"That is certainly surprising."

Fuguleon commented smiling seeing the children having some development seeing as an adorable display of their age. He then notices Mana flaring before turning to look at Nozel who had veins popping on his forehead. The display left him warily smiling since this was unexpected to see his cousin act like this. 

'That was surprising…hehehe.'

[Lolicon.]

Caelum warily smiled hearing Cereza who giggled seeing his reaction along with Sapphire who is able to hear their conversation if she wanted. After a while, the two children left and Caelum contemplated how he felt about the whole ordeal then felt a hand on his shoulder looking at Fuguleon who gave a nod. 

"I approved. Make sure to not break their heart, Caelum." 

"Hehehe I won't."

Fuguleon gave a smile since he trusted him to be with his cousins especially Mimosa as they were the same Household and thought it would cause a scandal when a commoner to be with a noble will not hold back Caelum. He would gain status unlike before and rise to the top.

It has been another few months since the last visit of girls letting Caelum to start decreasing his train and focus on trying to make a powerful artifact in order to help him fully utilize the endless pool of Mana in the surrounding area. He had taken time to materialize the parts and performed complicated enchantments into it.  

Once he finished acquiring the necessary requirements to make his weapon he started to assemble it using his skill. Though, his knowledge in Weaponsmith is lacking from the practical department as he was unable to visit blacksmith due to his small body and had to find a substitute in order to make his artifact. 

Caelum concentrated on the shape of the weapon which was a small double edge dagger that seemed to have a dull blade. It emanates a dense magical energy that is just like a magic stone that has helped revive the elf in the future. 

'It's finished, I wonder what name I should call it?'

"Congratulations on making your first Artifact."

"Thank you, Sapphire. Though I'm still unsure if it would work."

"Of course it will. You spent most of your  time making it and carefully thought about its function."

"You're right and besides there's no point worrying when I haven't even tried it."

He was outside of the mansion knowing that it could cause quite a lot of collateral damage if things went wrong. Caelum isn't confident in his creation but he did go trial and error to perfect his creation. 

Caelum's magical energy flared up releasing his power before evenly spreading it through his body from his Mana core. This only lasted in an instant as he already formed a [ Split Mind ] that manage it for him and already did countless times that it second nature to him. 

He had treated controling Mana akin to breathing which made it easier to manage and began to cast his [ Magia Erebia: Silver Armament ] turning his pitch black hair into pure white with tinge of blue emanating an intense coldness. 

'I wonder how strong I'll be if I manage to learn Mana Zone? Maybe I'll focus on that next.'

Caelum made mental note for his future plans and held the blade before placing on his back that hover in the air and started to collapse forming halo behind him that started to absorbed the surrounding mana at a rapid pace while Caelum hardly felt any drawback. 

The sensation was definitely way more powerful than anything his able to grasped without the weapon. It acted as medium for the enormous magical energy in the surrounding similar to mystic code staff but obviously extremely weaker than that kind of weapon.

His body kept pouring more Mana that it seem endless and wanted to test it by forming over dozen of blade that emenating [ Silver Aura ]. Caelum proceeded to performed a series of diagonal slashes that sent a wave of energy into the distances and slice through the forest while freeze them few seconds later. 

He didn't stop and kept going by taking a stance that executed a stab in the air that sent a wave of straight attack. The whole place seemed to be devastated from his light exercise and once everything was frozen into thin ice that suddenly shattered into dust leaving nothing intact. 

Anything that was frozen became brittle ices that Caelum easily shattered and turned to dust. He hardly felt any fatigue performing numerous advance attacks and could see the result was perfect. 

'Lets test [ Lightning God Form: Indra ]'

Caelum removes his [ Silver Aura ] before focusing into his other form by summoning lightning and absorbing the spell. The vigorous sensation of lightning coursing through his body acquiring an armament around his forearms and legs then behind him was halo but pulsating in electricity. He had an additional pair of arms that made him more like Hindu god. 

He tested his new form by measuring his speed moving at an incredible speed that appeared like his teleportation. It was only his normal speed using the former without [Shundō]. His strike was precise and easily decimated the whole area from every jab, punch, kick, cleave and chop. 

Each movement was accelerating in ways akin to a dance having nothing but coordinated steps. It was flawlessly executed, clearly showing his skill in martial arts. Caelum understood that his magic was now top tier and no one could be a threat to him beside Julius considering his time magic.

'I wonder which is better, my [ Lightning God Form: Indra ] or Luck ultimate magic form.'

He ponders the other lightning user considering his power might be close when using this form. Though, Caelum doubts he'll lose when he is able to use [ Silver Armament ] to combat his speed. 

"Alright, let's head back once I've gotten used to using my new weapon."

Sapphire nodded and after a while Caelum spent the next few hours trying to adjust the weapon in certain areas that might cause problems in the future. It obviously won't last forever before the weapon shatters which is why he focuses on improving it and treating the weapon as his own limb. 

His concentration was at the highest possible where everything seemed to disappear and focusing the flow of his energy to the weapon through his body. The weapon acts like sacred treasure from Nanatsu no taizai, allowing to use more power than his body allows. 

The deeper the link between himself and the weapon the thicker the connection becomes. Caelum finished by forming enormous lightning javelin that shot towards the mountain and obliterated it without a trace causing those nearby to witness the attack and were all baffled by the thundering sound it caused. 

'This would be enough training.'

He muttered satisfied from the devastation of his attack and hardly felt his Mana depleted to a worrisome level. Caelum dispelled his form and took the dagger staring intently about the name. 

"Let's call you [ Tempest ] for simplicity."

The weapon seems to respond by flickering but Caelum dismisses it and focuses on getting out before people arrive to investigate what happened. They return to the vermillion household to have some rest considering Caelum had been training non-stop.
