Lullaby and Whip Shadows

"It's finally starting." Jiang Yue spoke and opened his eyes.

His eyes were covered in frost, and his body exuded a sense of detachment that was different from usual.

Without another word, he waved his hand, and a talisman appeared in his right hand. 

This was the oculus talisman purchased with one low-grade spirit stone.

He placed it on the ground and pointed at it with his right index finger. 

Soon after, a strand of clear qi dripped out of the finger and landed on the talisman.

The qi traced the lines of the eye drawn on the talisman, and a golden light projected out. This light rushed to Jiang Yue's forehead and formed a third eye between his eyebrows.

A few moments later, the eye sank beneath his skin, and the talisman broke apart.

"Let's go." Yu Nianzhen called.

"Okay."

The two left their tent and rushed towards the defence array that surrounded the island.
