Now, in a blinding rage, Calvin didn't care to check his surroundings and was ready to throw hands with the ball of fat in front of him.

He recovered from the previously thrown punch and felt his energy go toward his right hand. It was all accumulating in his joints and bone, making them feel harder than steel.

He put his right foot aback and cocked his arm in position before releasing it with all his power.

His fist went even faster and had more power than the one he used against Alex but, when it was about to hit, he was feeling pain.

He took a glance at where his fist had ended and realised what he had done.

His hand was locked in the palm of a tall, muscular man with muscle that could break a boulder.

The man was looking at Calvin with intent in his eyes and said:

-"Not so bad kiddo, you got great power but poor form. If you listen to my class, you will easily be able to fend for yourself in lower gates!"

He had a devilish smile and he didn't look like he minded the punch that much.

-"Now, I stopped you two from fighting because if you do so without learning a proper technique, you'll end up with bad habit."

Calvin only now realised who he had punched.

'I punched the freaking teacher! Shit, shit, shit. I have to excuse myself quick!'

-"Hu-hum, sorry?"

Calvin panicked. He said sorry but didn't have the balls to look at his teacher in the eyes. He hoped for the worst but was reassured when the man said it was all fine.

-"Today is your first day and your first basic of martial art class. I'm your teacher. You can call me Laurent or Mr. Laurent or Mr. Gin, anything is fine."

His voice exploded with power as if the same muscle that covered his body were projecting it. With only this statement, the whole class was shut.

-"The first thing you should all know is that no one here should have an advantage over others because of their traits so, when fighting, no one is allowed to use their traits or else they need to fight ME in the ring."

He pointed toward the center of the field where a fighting ring could clearly be seen.

-"Second rule!"

He shouted, as to make sure everyone could hear him.

-"You always win! There is no place for defeat!"

All the audience stared at him as if a he was a military sergeant shouting out orders for his troops.

-"Now, let's start with the basic moves. The basic punch, as its name intend is a simple punch anyone can perform. The trick is in how you do it, which will alter it's power."

He stopped talking abruptly and showcased said punch. It looked as if he only made a basic move but a wind blast hit the students in front of him.

Looks of amazement stretched on their faces, as many tried to imitate him.

-"You can all stop this. You won't learn anything from just punching the air. To really learn martial art you have to copy me and spar with your classmates."

-"First thing first..."

Laurent went on to explain the basic punch, a simple kick and a beginner footwork. He then let all the students get in pair as to train.

-"Alright, now that you know the basics, get in pairs and practice with one another."

The whole class quickly formed groups with their friends.

Calvin didn't know anyone apart from Leeroy in his class, but the thought of training with him made him puke, so he asked a random classmate if he wanted to spar, and he said yes.

Said student had a small frame, dark blue hair and crescent eyes. He seemed to think he would win this spar without a problem, but that didn't bother Calvin.

-"You can all go in fighting position. 3, 2, 1, GO!"

Most fight began with the two fighters rushing in, fist ready, but with no coordination. They're punch were weak and clunky.

On the other hand, in his battle, Calvin didn't rush in like a caveman and calmly studied his opponent. The two of them stared at each other before making a move.

Calvin was the first to strike. He rapidly advanced toward the blue haired student before unleashing a powerful punch.

He didn't master the techniques Laurent showed him, but he was for sure one of the best of his group.

After his right hand reached his opponent, he took a kicking stance before doing the move he had just learned.

He then peeked at his opponent, who he thought would be either on the ground or, at least, in pain, but to his surprise, his opponent was standing there, without a scratch.

Calvin was confused and it showed on his face. The other one saw this and went:

-"You wonder how I'm unscathed don't you?" he said with a smirk on his face.

-"Yes, I do actually."

He then went back in to throw two other punches. Right, Left.

Both his attacks did no damage to his sparring partner and that made him a bit mad.

He wasn't in total anger like before and so, he could still think clearly about what to do next.

Calvin did his best impression of the move Mr. Gin showed him, but was interrupted before he could finish.

He received a blow to his stomach, succeeded by an upper cut, finished by a kick to the temple.

Calvin fell on his butt because he was destabilized, but he wasn't hurting.

He wasn't even mad anymore, just confused.

-"You're quite good for a beginner. You surprised me a little."

He still had that smirk on his face.

-"The name's Hãnh."

He then offered his hand to help Calvin stand up.

-"So, are you like a pro martial artist or something?"

-"Kind of, I'm from the Hao clan, from Vietnam."

-"..."

Calvin was flabbergasted. He just met one of the descendant of the mighty Hao clan.

-"But how are you in the F class then?"

-"It's a long story that I'd rather not tell. Anyway, it was nice having you as sparring partner."

Hãnh gave Calvin a smile before going his own way.

Not knowing what to do after, he scouted the other fights to see if anyone had real potential to become strong, alas, all he could see was two or three better than average students.

He didn't want to straight up leave like Hãnh so he stayed a bit before being approached by Laurent.
