The teacher who entered the classroom was a well-known good for nothing. He was the son of the vice-dean and only had his position because of his father. He was renowned for being lazy and only ten percent of his students passed his class.

His temper was said to be short and Calvin hoped he was wrong about the person for this simple reason.

-"Hi. We will learn visualization today. Open your textbooks at page 1 and start reading from there. Good luck."

He said all this while looking bored and right after sat down at his desk and started scrolling away.

Calvin was flabbergasted. He knew of the dude's bad reputation, but this was out of his imagination.

He didn't even try one bit and simply said read your book.

Calvin looked around to see if anyone would say anything but no one seemed to care. All his classmates were just talking and screaming, without an ounce of care.

He mustered up some courage and lifted his hand.

The teacher saw Calvin with his hand in the air, looked him in the eyes and went back to his computer.

Calvin, seeing this went in a rage. He didn't know why he had such strong emotions lately but he couldn't help it and stood up before walking toward his teacher's desk.

-"Won't you teach us how to do it or give us a tip or anything?" said Calvin in anger.

-"Go back to your desk and read the book you'll learn just fine like that."

-"You know we need an outside source of mana or some kind of help to visualize. Won't you do anything?"

-"Look kid, I don't care if you're from some big family or anything just go back to your desk and read. The day you can compare to me, I'll teach you." anger could also be heard in the teacher's voice.

Calvin now with his mouth wide open, shamefully walked back tot his desk with the weird looks and laugh of the class.

At first he didn't want to but he eventually started reading the book. The more he read, the more he had the feeling of learning as if he was completing something that was in his head and heart all along.

After what seemed to be forever, the class finally ended, leaving him with a thirty minutes pause before his next class. He quickly looked at his next class on his calendar. It was the basic martial art class.

As the kid of the Melhearts, he had been put through training since he was young. He had a great base as a martial artist but he couldn't even be called good at it. His shape, form, attacks and movements were all slow and clunky. The only redemption being some combat sense and his previously mentioned great base.

After searching for his class in his first twenty minutes of break, Calvin finally found
