If there was even a glimmer of hope in what she was going to say, then, he was going to take it, regardless.
He was going to take it right now. However, if he did want to consider it, it was rather stupid.
First, he had being led here on a wild goose chase, to this Sage who was totally useless to his chase. Now then, from the same Sage who he had banked his hopes on, led on foolishly by Shino, the words of hope were proceeding from.
