Chapter 9 :- Cursed Tomb

After a few days

We can see Edward , Rikard , Brandon and Rodrick . Leaving a group of soldiers behind and moving towards the forest .

" I have said the soldiers to wait for us for 2 hrs then they will come to look for us . " Rickard

" That is more than enough for us to complete the task . " Edward

" What are we going to do here brother " Brandon

" We are going to look for a king from age of heroes . " Edward

They all moved constantly for about 30 minutes before getting in front of a cave like structure , Whose entrance was covered with a rock . They were placed in such a way that it was almost impossible to see any anomaly .

But Edward has the location of the Grave . So it was not very hard to find the place .

" How are we going to move them the biggest one is almost 1100 pounds ." Rodrick

" We have bought ropes right . Tie them to he Horses . Brandon will make the horse pull forward . I , you and father Will Pull the rock with the other rope . " Edward

" Ok Tie the ropes " Rickard

After tying the rope they started to push the rock . After pushing a few times , They were able to move the rock .

"Thud " " Thud "

Rest of the small rocks fell from there position and revealed the cave that was behind .

" That was quite heavy . " Rodrick

" There is nothing that seems kingly about this place " Rickard

" I don't know why but this place really gives me chills . " Brandon

" Well time really does damage . Brilliance of anything is not permanent . As for the creepy feeling . It is good that we are getting that . Because now we know that this is the right place . " Edward

But she was stopped by her father on the final battle of Deaths March . She died that day but with whatever magic she was left with . She cursed the King , That if anyone comes near the king they will be stripped of their lifeforce . To make sure that the his people are not harmed by this curse . He left his kingship and started living in seclusion . This was the place made for him to go and live his life in solitude ." Edward

" He is a type of man that is found very rarely . He sacrificed everything for his people and kingdom . That is the true spirit of a hero . Will it be alright to distribute his rest " Rickard

" Don't worry father we are not here only for the weapon . We are here to clear the curse that is placed on kings body " Edward tried to make an excuse , But it was also true as it is impossible to take the weapon without removing the curse .

" That will be great , If we can at least do this for him " Rickard

Edward took out a Blue cube from his bag .

" This will help us remove the curse " Edward

" How ? " Brandon

" Just wait and watch " Edward

Edward threw the cube in the room and waited for a few minutes .

" The chill is suddenly disappearing " Brandon

" Curse is getting absorbed in that cube . So it's effect is decreasing " Edward

After 15 minutes they can not feel any energy

" We should move inside . The curse should be absorbed till now " Edward

Rodrick light a fire for them to light their torches .

They moved inside the room . It was not clearly visible but the room looked quite big .

There was the energy cube Shining in the dark . It was blue with blackveins on it . It was only 30 % full . Edward put the cube in his inventory .

It looks like the curse has become quite weak with the passage of time .

There was a Big throne at the end of the room . On the front of the throne we can see a giant Tomb mand of rock .

An axe was placed on top of it . Well strictly we can't call it an axe . It was like a fucking tree . With its root surrounding the Tomb .

It looks like most of the curse was absorbed by the Axe .

All of them were mesmerized by the Axe .

It was like a Beauty with a hint of darkness .

You can help but get attracted to it .

Edward Didn't wanted to touch the Axe as it looked like it was a living creature .

He took out something from his inventory .

[ Seeling cloth :- Wraps around an object and seals it . So that no power is leaked from it . ]

It was a Blue cloth with golden runes drawn on it . It wrapped itself around the axe and the roots comming out of the axe started to retreat .

After 15 Seconds the axe was completely covered in blue cloth .

Edward stored the Axe in his inventory .

" That was magical . The axe was like weapons of the god . " Brandon

" That axe is a great weapon . But it can not be welded by us . As it will kill any one that tries to touch it . " Edward

Rickard and Rodrick kept silence and observed every things they see .

" Is your work done " Rickard

" yup it is done . But we should search the room more thoroughly . To make sure that we don't miss anything . " Edward

All of them searched the room there were a lot of things present in the room . But most of them were not recognisable due to passage of time .

" I don't think there is anything else to find in this place . " Rickard

" Yes , We should leave . " Edward said dejectedly

All of them left the cave and started riding towards were there camp was .
