Ch. 42 Zigena Pt. 1

( Ashborn Pov )

" You don't have that fire in your eyes anymore, and you know it." I remembered Jinsungs words as I awoken from my sleep.

His words seemed to se right through me.

It's been four days since the battle with Jinsung and Karaka. And now I'm healed up and dressed in a different gear since my armor and clothes were broken.

" Oh, Ashborn!" Yeon spoke as I looked to her, seeing her making burnt toast.

" Do... do you... want it?" She asked.

I sighed.

" Let me cook."

" Uhm, isn't Bam supposed to be cooking?" Wangnan asked.

" doesn't matter, I'm hungry." I replied, and I started cooking.

[ Cooking level 9.8 -> 10/10 ]

" Huh?" Bam woke up and walked into the kitchen as he took a seat.

It didn't take long for everyone to wake up.

" He's actually a great cook." Arie said as she brushed Yui's hair.

Seung and Bam nodded in agreement.

" Aw, thank you Arie if you keep complementing me, I might marry you." I smirked as I dodged her Hans from slapping me.

As soon as everyone took a bite, they shouted in unison.

" Marry me!!"

I deadpanned as I sat next to Yui and Arie and started feeding Yui as Arie brushed her hair.

" Oi, feed me." Arie asked.

" Huh, uhm sure." I replied in surprise as I fed Yui and Arie.

( Wangnan Pov )

I looked to the side to see Yeon looking at Ashborn and Arie with a jealous face.

" Hmm, someone's jealous~Do you want him to feed you as well?" I teased Yeon.

" I'm not jealous!!" She shouted before eating the rest of her breakfast and leaving the table.

" Yeesh..." I muttered.

( Ashborn Pov )

" Endorsi would be mad." Viole spoke as we all walked towards the testing area.

" I'm pretty sure the princess already forgotten me by now." I replied.

A few minutes later.

" Did your team run away as well?" I asked Viole, who nodded as we all boarded a ship.

" Yeah, apparently my name has gotten famous..." I spoke, which caused Viole to nod as well.

" Why can't you put on a shirt?" Arie growled as we walked up the ship.

" I'm wearing a jacket, don't worry." I replied as I sat on a bench looking over the sea.

" Da! I wanna see the fishes!" Yui shouted as she pulled my hand.

I quickly got up and put Yui on my shoulders and walked to the railing to see the flying fishes.

As Yui admirednthe fishes I looked at Viole to see him carrying the little girl in their team ad well.

We both stared at each other for a few seconds before looking back at the sea.

The others started playing volleyball as we watched from the sidelines. When suddenly the shipnstarted rocking as we felt a quake.

I held onto Yui and looked at the thing that rose from the ocean.

" Zigena. " I muttered as I remembered this kind of creature.

" Do...we...take the exam there...?" Wangnan asked.

" Yes. That creature is called a Zigena. It's like a mystical creature on the people on the 21st floor. All you have to do is go inside of the Zigena and find " The flower of Zigena."."

" W..wait! Go inside its body?!"

" Yes. You should go inside it's body." The test administrator replied scaring the regulars.

A few mintues later, we got on a boat as we rode tonthe side of the Zigena.

" This is terrible!!!" Wangnan shouted before flopping down.

" Not good.... this test is the worst. Why do we have to go inside it... and find a jewel that doesn't even belong to us...?"

" You guys go with Wangnan." I looked at Seung and Arie who nodded and took Yui with them.

And the rest will go for the blowhole on its belly. While the first will go on top.

" Alright than, should we run away?" The little prince muttered but as soon as he tried to turn on the engine it didn't start.

" Huh?"

" What's wrong?" Yeon asked as she walked over.b

" T..this isn't working...!" This alarmed us as we looked over.

" Then what should we do?! The zigena will flip soon!" She shouted.

" I know! But it's not working!"

" Move let me try!" Yeon pushed him away as she triednto work the engine.

" Darn! Why's is not working! Peice of junk!" She accidentally used her power as she blew up the engine.

" Great..." I muttered as I noticed the zigena moving.

Mooooo!!!

The Zegina started to tip over to sunbathe its other side. Me and Bam looked at each other for a few seconds.

" It's great knowing you..." I spoke which Bam nodded.

" Ahhhh!!" Yeon held my waist as I looked down at her to see her eyes accused at the Zigena tipped over.

We were under water as I grabbed Yeon up to the belly of the Zigena.

" Are they all dead?" Yeon asked as she started shouting their name below.

" Mr. Horyang!! Mr. Prince! FUG!"

" They're alright, there over there." I said as I closed my arms as Bam walked over.

" wha!?" She exclaimed.

" Pretty sure they already went inside while I had to search for you." I said as I walked towards the blowhole.

" When did you get changed?" I looked at Bam who shrugged.

" Hey! Wait! My clothes haven't dried yet!!"

As we walked inside we heard rumbling.

" Ugh.... what's happening..." yeon asked.

As I felt the shinsu in the air become more wild.

Bam starting running towards the sound ad I started to follow him.

" Where are you going!? Ashborn!! Mr. Viole!!"

I proved to be faster as I coated my body with shinsu before activatingbthe lightning attribute.

[ Ashborn Style: Thunderous Blitz]

I made my way toward the feeling where I felt a strong person was and I looked at him as I stood infront of the Horyang and prince.

" Mr. Horyang! Prince!" A few seconds later Bam arrived.

' Crap! He's here. If we fail this exam... One of Bams teammates dies... sigh. The thing I do for friendship.' I cracked my neck as I walked toward the man.

" We can't fail this exam...please got out harm's way. I'll take this exam." Bam spoke as he followed behind me.

" Get back Viole... I got this." I said as I looked at Mazino.

" You... you're eyes are sharp... and deadly..."

" Viole.... go with the others... I'm....I'm gonna have some fun."

" You're eyes are scary." Mazino grinned.
