Julia.
Jimin's eyes were searching for that one girl. She was nowhere to be found. His parted lips released a frustrated groan, as his big eyes were roaming all over the road. "JULIA" He screamed, running here and there. He ran towards the streets that connect the road. He stopped and looked at the street she usually takes to her house.
Not wasting any more time, he ran towards the road. He could hear his pounding heart rate but he minded nothing as he wants to see that one girl in front of him. Getting more inside the dark narrow street, his eyes fell on one girl who was hugging her arms, back facing him, walking with her fast steps.
He released a heavy sigh as he saw the girl. He ran towards her with his loud steps and Julia stopped walking and turned around only to see Jimin running fast towards her. She squinted her eyebrows looking at Jimin in front of her, halting with heavy breaths. "Woah, Jimin. What happened? Why are you running like that-" she stopped, looking down at his feet. "Where are your shoes?" she asked, worried why he was here in that state.
That's when Jimin realised he wasn't even wearing his shoes and he was just left with his socks. He couldn't explain anything to himself in this state and Julia's eyes were so curious about his answers. Jimin raised his head and looked straight into her eyes. "I- nothing. Just wanted to say- a bye?" Jimin said, and Julia couldn't believe what she just heard.
"Did you come all the way to say bye? You could've just called me-" she said and Jimin cursed himself as he was going out of words. She chuckled ruffling his hair. "Let me tell you a proper goodbye-" she said, hugging him, resting her head on his fast-pounding heart. She heard him so well and that made her smile ear to ear.
"I know you were worried about me because of that accident-" Julia whispered and now his heart was beating more than ever and she could feel everything against her ears. She pressed her cheek more into his chest and her arms were wrapping into him more. Jimin just stood there, frozen by her words.
Even though this man says nothing to her, she could hear thousands of sweet words said by him through his little actions. She closed her eyes and felt him more. After a few seconds, she broke the hug and looked at him. "Sleep well," she said, pecking his cheek, making him flinch lightly. She giggled, looking at his reaction.
"See you" Julia whispered, before turning around and walking away.
Jimin stood there looking at her vanishing in the darkness.

"Someone used Jammer, wow," Yoongi said, having no clue about CCTV in the apartment. "Yeah, it was planned well but I want to know the motto behind this," Destinee said, sipping the caramel macchiato. Yoongi stared at her drink and smirked. "Did you buy it from that cafe?" He asked, and Destinee rolled her eyes. "Stop it, Yoongs. Why would I go there now?" she replied nonchalantly.
"Just curious since you've been going that way lately and your eyes were just on that cafe when you cross it," Yoongi added and she put the cup above the dashboard and stared at him with big eyes. Yoongi put his files on the same and crossed his arms, waiting for some nonsense talk from her.
"Yes, I can't forget him, now what?" she said, yelling at Yoongi. Yoongi couldn't help but chuckle at her. It's been more than 10 years but no man can give her heart a crazy beat more than him.
Namjoon.
"Ask him to stop looking at me too. Ask him to date any girls or boys. So at least then I can stop thinking about him. He's just staying single and just being around Taehyung doesn't help me in any way." she spat out.
"You are actually an independent, open-minded, hardworking cop but you can't just hold yourself over a cafe owner," Yoongi spoke, making her throw some death glares at him. "He was a cop too-" she said, and Yoongi's eyebrows jumped. "Oh, I didn't know. I didn't know you also joined Police because of him," he said, and all she could do was choke his throat.
"Shut the fuck up, Yoongi. Don't say all the truths right in my face," she said, choking him hard but all he did was chuckle loudly. "You are so weak, Des," Yoongi said, and she grabbed his hair. And that's when they heard a knock on their car's glass window, making both of them look at the person.
It was so awkward as they went out of their professional shelves and turned into some school besties who fight for nothing. Destinee quickly straightened up and turned to the man while Yoongi rubbed his neck and adjusted his hair. They both looked at the person before getting down the car.
The man who was perplexed by what he just saw, cleared his throat and smiled at them finally. "Ms Jung?" he asked, stretching his hand. "Yeah-" she said, smiling back. "I'm Kim Seokjin. Prosecutor for the murders happened in the White Whale apartment," he said and Destinee's eyes widened big. "Oh yeah, Yoong- I mean, Mr Min was saying about you that you were coming," she said, happily shaking her hand with him.
Yoongi came along and offered his hand as well. "Can we go anywhere and talk?" Yoongi suggested and Jin nodded at him quickly. Yoongi started driving the car, handing the files to Jin.
As they reached a familiar cafe, Destinee glared at Yoongi. She was maintaining her decent posture but she wanted to choke Yoongi again. Destinee didn't go unnoticed by the smirk that formed on the corner of Yoongi's lips. Once Jin was out of the car, she pinched Yoongi hard on his arm, making him whine. "Ah, why?" Yoongi stared at her. "You bratty cat, once he's gone you will see the real stars right in front of you-" she said, storming out of the car. Yoongi chuckled as he saw them leaving inside Namjoon's cafe.
Opening the glass door of the cafe, the bell rang, making Taehyung look at them. He grinned widely at the person and rushed towards him. "Jin Hyung-" Taehyung said, hugging him tightly. Jin giggled at the younger one and he turned back to the people he was with. "I usually visit this place often and he became close to me-" Jin said looking at Yoongi, making him nod.
"What do you want to drink?" Taehyung asked and Jin looked at them. "Uhm, I will call you Taehyung, you go-" he said, tapping his bread cheek, making him show his boxy smile. "Sure, c-call me anytime-" he said, bowing at the people in front of him and running to Namjoon.
Namjoon was standing in front of some customers but his eyes were on Destinee She was also not breaking eye contact. Yoongi walked, crossing Destinee and she saw him, instantly following him towards the empty table. All three of them sat together, and their eyes were fixed on different persons. Jin was fondly looking at Taehyung while Destinee was staring intensely at Namjoon who was also staring back at her. And Yoongi didn't take his eyes off Destinee.
"Um- can we order something or first talk about this?" Jin questioned, making both of them look at him. "Yeah, first. Let me tell you something. This is actually not a difficult case but things just weren't falling into the place and we are really going out of clues. There was a guy who seems suspicious to us, but he went missing." Destinee said, while Yoongi nodded, showing his picture to Jin. Jin carefully looked at the picture and slide it into his files.
"Great, so we have a lot to do I see," Jin said, intertwining his fingers. "Yeah, I guess the registered name was a fake, there's no person with such a name.-" Yoongi added but Destinee's eyes were side-eyeing Namjoon who was far from their table.
"Let me make it clear. There were two murders. And one guy went missing since the second murder. We don't know the motive or how it happened as well. Is that right?" Jin asked and Yoongi was nodding his head. Destinee was physically there but Jin's voice was just fading into the background as she was just looking at Namjoon. She always goes for her knees for this man, she didn't fail to notice his little eye contact as well.
"Jin Hyung. I made special coffee for you three-" Taehyung said, placing three cups on the table and his boxy smile was on the display. Destinee came out of the trance and looked at the cups. "Woah, Taetae. I didn't ask for it-" Jin said, shaking his head in disbelief. Taehyung smiled widely before going back to his place.
They were having their coffees, discussing more the case. Slowly the bright light of the sun is going down and the blue sky was turning orange with red. They didn't realise they were sitting there for hours and Destinee didn't complain anything about it as long as she was staring at her man.
Yoongi cleared her throat and leaned towards her. "Your face looks so stupid right now-" he whispered, earning a glare from Destinee. "Not as much as you-" Destinee whispered back and Jin was already standing on his feet. "Let's go, I want to go home early tonight. My wife must be waiting-" Jin said, fixing his clothes. "Sure, we can drop you off-" Yoongi said but Jin shook his head no.
"It's okay, I can take a tab. My home is just a few streets away-" Jin said, greeting them before going towards Taehyung. They shared a bro hug before he left the cafe. "Let's go already-" Destinee said and Yoongi turned to her. "You wanna give him a hug or something?" Yoongi said and Destinee didn't waste any time before clutching his arm and dragging him outside of the cafe.
"You never stop embarrassing me-" she said, throwing him inside the car and sitting in the driver's seat. "Just drive carefully, I want a peaceful sleep until I go home safely," Yoongi replied, closing his eyes, and resting his head on the back. "Who said you are going to your house?" Destinee said and Yoongi chuckled. "Hope I have my extra pair of clothes in your house-" he said and Destinee chuckled sarcastically.
"Why do you need extra clothes for the tombstone? You will just go with bones and skull" she said and Yoongi shut opened his eyes, looking at Destinee who was starting up the ignition aggressively and raising up the gear. "Des, let me just go home by walking" saying that he was about to unbuckle his seatbelt but Destinee was already riding the car faster, making him put it back. "You wish?" she said and sped up the car more.
Yoongi closed his eyelids tightly as he was swearing with every possible word he knows. Destinee chuckled, looking at the poor man who was fighting death. "Please, stop this damn fucking car and you will never see me again in your life, I swear. I will never take you to this cafe and who Namjoon? I only know your long-time crush Ji Chang Wook" Yoongi was slamming his hand everywhere he could until it fell on Destinee's face.
Destinee pressed the break instantly and looked at Yoongi who was already unbuckling his seatbelt, rushing out of the car. "Fuck you, Destinee. Fuck me" he yelled, running towards the nearest busstop and all she could do was release a heavy exhale and look at the poor man running away.
She sighed and turned around the car towards Yoongi. She saw him standing under the bus stop roof and halted the car in front of him. She slid down the window and rested her elbow on the window glass. "Want a ride, baby boy?" she said, looking at him with a mischievous smile on her lips. There were two other people at the bus stop and they looked at them weirdly. "Fuck you. I'm not coming" Yoongi said, earning a chuckle from her. "I know you will come for mommy," she said, sticking her tongue out playfully.
Now Yoongi felt their non-stop glances at the two of them. Shaking his head in disbelief, he ran to the other side and sat in the back seat instead of sitting next to her. "Just go already. They are still looking at us-" Yoongi said and Destinee looked at them and threw a middle finger before dashing out of the place.
They will never behave like normal Police when they were not around anyone.
