CHAPTER FOUR

In a small, quiet, dim, and empty room. Two police men are sitted opposite Kim, they stare at her for a while before asking.

" Are you related to the victim?"

Kunde asked.

" No I'm not. " She answered.

" At what time did you see this man? "

" Few minutes past six, I was riding home but I stopped to help him. "

"When you saw him, did you notice anyone within the area?"

asked Kunde.

" No, I was alone. "

Kim answered.

" Do you have any of his family's contact? So we can call them and let them know of his present condition. "

Chidu asked.

Kim paused before answering, she remembered the wallet in her pocket and brought it out and showed them.

" Why do you have this? "

asked Kunde.

" It fell From his pocket, when the nurses carried him into the ambulance. " She answered innocently.

The police men looked at each other then at her.

Chidu collected the wallet, opened it and examined it.

Kunde studied the information conveyed in the man's purse.

He whispered something to Chudu who smiled and said.

" This wallet has all the information we need. "

" Thank you for your cooperation. " Chidu says dismissively as he turns to Kunde and they engage in a conversation, speaking a different language.

Kim got up and walked out of the room.

She was happy that she was able to answer their questions. She wanted to go home, but she halted at the exit door.

Kim decided to see the man once more before she leaves the hospital.

She walks up to the Doctor she met earlier and said.

" I would like to see him. "

" All right, he's in the emergency room. "

He informed her.

" Miss Linda take her to see the recent Patient. "

The doctor instructed.

Linda nodded and Said to Kim

" This way. " she followed her.

" The nurse leads Kim to a private room"

Kim wears a face mask and hair net before entering the room. She walked in and sees the man on the bed, dressed in blue overalls, his eyes closed and a Bandage wrapped around his head. She sat beside him and held his hand.

" I don't know who you are, but I feel a connection towards you"

She voiced in her mind.
