One Half Month in, Introducing 2nd rank investigator...

It has been exactly half a month since I had been sent to this world, and I had been very busy since I got here. And I've got to say, this Sui did not touch on how crime-ridden Tokyo was. There were Muggings and Murders every day. And apparently, the govt. covers these up too! they blame the ghouls for these crimes, and the real killers go unanswered! Like, that's a dick move, keep the propaganda out of this kinda shit!

Other than that, I had been cleaning the streets up ever since I came here. But, since I got money now, (Cha-ching!) I bought one of those Warehouse homes. on the outside, it looks like a rundown rusty warehouse on the docks. However, on the inside, its a beauty. You know those houses in NBA 2k? its kinda like that. except, no basketball court. just space, which I quickly took to filling up. I bought Furniture and stuff like that, and have one of those paper wall things splitting the home part from the empty area. Then, I bought a nice car. Well, Nice is too good to put it.

Apparently, in this Universe, the Toyota FT-1 isn't a concept car and was made in 2014, which is cool, since I absolutely adore the design on it. What can I say, even though I am a weeb, im also American, so of course I also love cars? Any American who doesn't love cars is a faker.

I got it in black and its fast. and it has a beautiful interior. Heh, I had my driver's license, but I was too poor to own a car, So I either took the bus or, as my death suggests, walk. Now, I will never Jaywalk again! muahahaha! Other than that, I bought a Multitude of other things, such as Anime pictures, a Giant ass tv... oh, and I also got a new outfit, but I doubt you would like to hear about that...

Oh of course you do, Recently, I got a new outfit for when I go on my night time excursions. It looks alot like Persona 5's Joker, except the right eye is completely shaded in, leaving only my left Kakugan to be exposed. I did this to kinda to honor Kaneki, and the other one-eyed ghouls we see, since they usually dont have their human eye exposed when they've gone all out hunting and shit.

Not only that, but I've also been collecting all the Q Bullets I get as time goes on, and I now can say I have 3 whole crates of it. though, I could've had more, but when I raided that Illegal gun runs it blew up before I could get alot of it. So, I now go around at night with my Kagune, and some Q Bullets on me, with my trusty black 2011 that was graciously donated by that saint of a Gun-Running kingpin! Ah, his screams were music to my ears!

Luckily I haven't encountered any CCG. Which is good since I doubt I could last against anything higher than a Rank 1. I MIGHT be able to take out a Rank 2 Investigator, but that's a big Might. I'd barely survive against a rank 1 and I'd obviously be killed against a first-class talent. I might see if I can find a Quinque. Or, find a ghoul and make one out of them. A quinque paired with my Kagune would make me nearly unstoppable if I learned Iaido. and just in case I'll learn Karate.

Sighing, I throw on my white Oppai hoodie and hop into my car. and decide to just drive around. It doesn't take long for me to reach my destination. it is a coffee shop. It's not Anteiku, but it does have some delicious coffee, and it is quick to get to instead of going ALL the way to the 20th when I just have to go one ward over for this one. though it is in the 1st ward, so I need to be careful not to get too careless. If I were to accidentally activate my Kakugan, which I had done in private before when I forgot to eat a few days ago, it could spell disaster for me. Luckily though, I did eat plenty this morning, about half of a Gunrunner from last week's Charade.

Sitting down at a table I sip and enjoy my coffee, I hear the Bell to the Coffee shop ring, and to my surprise its a CCG Investigator, and not only that but to my surprise its Akira Mado! She walks up to the cashier and starts talking.

"I would Like a Latte, for here." she says, as the cashier replies "That will be 330 yen ma'am, and sorry, but we seem to be full if you have a-" deciding to interrupt, and get to know the Investigator I call out " hey, It's ok, she can sit with me!" I call out as the cashier nods. "Ok, before we were out of tables, but if you wish to stay you can sit without gentleman over there. she points at me as I sip on my black coffee.

Akira Nods, as she walks over to the table and sits down, absolutely silently. Deciding to break the ice, I bring my hand up for a handshake. " Im David, David White, it is a pleasure to meet you ms....?"

It takes her a moment to respond, but she takes my hand softly and replies. " Akira, Akira Mado. It's nice to meet you, David." she says, Almost monotonously, though a hint of emotion was there. "So, you are an Investigator with the CCG. I haven't seen many of you, I thought there would be more of you in territory that is roughly cleansed of ghouls since the interior wards are the safest areas in Tokyo."

I state as Akira raises her eyebrow. "And how do you know that? You don't seem to be the type of person to be informed on this subject." she says, feeling as if im some loudmouth. oh, how little she knows that she is sitting across from the recently A ranked Vasto Lord. "Oh, well I watch the news, they sometimes report on how the CCG is doing, such as if a Ward is safe or not. Anyways, Since you are an investigator, would that mean that you know whats going on with that whole 'Vasto Lord' stuff? I've been quite interested in that kinda stuff." I ask, not trying to sound rude or pushy.

"Sadly, I cannot give that information out freely. But what I can say is that Rank 1 and 2 are being told to be on the lookout at night. A promised increase in pay and promotion is promised if he is found." She states as she takes another sip of her latte. suddenly her phone rings, interrupting our rather pleasant conversations about the CCG. She answers it, and a voice can be heard on the other side. From what I can tell, she is needed in the 12th ward, which is quite the distance out if I do say so myself. How will she ever get there in- oh yes.

" Sorry, but I must go, I am needed in the 12th ward." She says as she gets up. "That's quite the distance, how do you plan on getting there?" I ask as she looks at me. "I will walk." I Smile, as I get up, and pull my keys out of my pocket. "Nah, here, let me drive you there, you tell me where, and we'll go, and we can continue our conversation, It's a win-win to me! I say, Enthusiastically. Akira Sighs, before Nodding.

"Fine, I will admit that speaking to you is pleasant. Let's go then." she says, as she exits the shop as I follow. " Ok then, which car is yours?" she says, as she motions to the two old vans that look that they're from the '90s. " That one," I say, as I press the power button on my car as the Toyota Revs to life next to Akira, Startling her.

"Im American, we don't settle for ratmobiles!" I say, as I open the door and get in. Carefully Akira gets in and buckles up as a song comes on the radio. Huh, I like this, Its a TK from Ling tosite sigure song of course...since it's Tokyo Ghoul. Since they seem to be one of the only bands here.

"Ok, where to?" I ask, as I pull out and start to make my way to the high way. " outside of the subway exit. there is a hostage situation with some ghouls there." She states as I get a little excited. Vasto Lord may need to intervene in this one, for the fun of course.
