There's a well-known story in Astenia Empire. It is about the vicious Black Dragon and the tragic life of the Moon Goddess Selene. A forbidden romance who conceived the curse.

Thousands of years ago before the founding of Astenia Empire, dragons have reigned all over the land. The mighty creature was feared by the people. Their body has the same size as a castle, with crystalline scales, fiery eyes, and breath that could annihilate a land. No one can defeat a dragon. They were invincible creatures.

The wails of the people were heard by the Moon goddess Selene. She couldn't stand seeing her beloved people trembled in fear and dies in vain.

From the sky, the Moon Goddess descended the land with the willpower to stop the dragons from harming her people.

Like the mighty dragons, the Moon Goddess is also powerful. Her strength reaches beyond humans and dragons. One snap of her finger, she can either destroy or flourish the land. The Dragon stops harming the people when the Moon Goddess shows wrath and threatens to exterminate the dragons with her power.

In the following years, the land became peaceful. The once-barren land with no ounce of hope springs into prosperity and the people rejoice. It was a peaceful years. If only the Dragon King and the Moon Goddess didn't fall in love with each other.

The black Dragon—who was the reigning King of Dragons—saw the beautiful Moon Goddess and fell in love with her instantly. He pursues her with good intentions. And the Moon Goddess accepted him. But they know their love would only bring chaos.

The passionate love of the Dragon King and the Moon Goddess brought fear to the Mortals. They feared the possibilities of destruction and they were planning to stop them at whatever cost.

Thus the dragon hunt begins...

Before the founding of Astenia Empire, a swordsman with undeniable abilities slayed the Dragon King and took his heart. It was said that the legendary swordsman would then become the First Emperor of Astenia Empire. On the other hand, the Moon Goddess grieve over the demise of the Dragon King. Her despair leads her to loss her willpower and position as the Moon Goddess. Until then... no one knows what happens to the Moon Goddess, she disappears without any trace.

Many years later, Astenia Empire widened its territory. Ranging from the eastern region moving to western lands and dominating the northern boarders. The crown was passed down to generation. During the reign of the thirteenth Emperor, a curse surfaces the Imperial Family. And the whole Empire went turmoil.

The curse—that the every eldest son of every Emperor bears—was said to be the punishment of the Moon Goddess for killing her lover—Dragon King.

But when there's a curse, a prophecy was born.

"A woman with a fiery red hair and blazing amber eyes shall be born. She will dominate Astenia Empire with her divine abilities and she will end the curse of the Imperial Family."

Since then... everyone anticipates to find the prophesied woman.

Hundreds of years of finding her, the woman never appeared. Their hope slowly gone. What would be the future of the Empire if the Imperial Family was cursed?

Before the reformation of Astenia Empire, the last descendant of the First Emperor—Prince Damien— fled away. Since then, no one seen him again. The New Astenia Empire is led by a new dynasty.
