Old and new love

William's POV

I stood before a tombstone in the quiet graveyard with a heavy heart, mourning for a lost love.

Which love am I mourning?

My old love, the love that the ripper of death took away from me. Or the new love I rejected because of a promise I made to my old love.

My old love haunts me for failing to avenge her. Whilst my new love haunts me in my dreams with her violin and bow playing sad melodies with tears streaming down her face. The tears I made her shed.

"I rejected her for you Eleanor," I say Like Eleanor will answer me from her grave. But it is silence the dead can only give.

I suddenly saw Naomi's long red hair from a distance.

I grimace. She always finds me.

"Hey brother-in-law," She greeted me.

I smiled. "You always find me don't you?" I say with my gaze on the tombstone.

"Yes, I do." She drops a tulip flower on the tombstone, beside the Lily flowers I placed on the tombstone earlier on.

"You seem unhappy off late." She says.
