father's retirement party (part three)
I sat in sadness with Charles after pouring my heart out to him.
Charles tried to cheer me up with jokes from his medical school. Obviously not working I'm still sad.
"Am I intruding?" Chris suddenly entered.
My eyes glistened with happiness upon seeing him.
"Not at all," I smiled at him.
"This the man I have heard so much about," Charles got up on his feet and I did too.
"I'm Charles and you must be Chris Addy's boyfriend." Charles beat me to the introduction. I had wanted to lead the introduction.
They did a friendly handshake.
"Finally got to meet you. Addy has told me a lot about you." Charles added.
Chris eyed me and I blushed. "She told me about you too." He grins.
"Good things?" Charles playfully asked.
Chris shot me a mischievous look and said. "You were beheading her dolls back when you were kids. She didn't like that very much She told me."
I feign a glare at Chris for telling on me.
