XueYa woke up disoriented as the sunlight peeked through the window.
Something big was lying over his chest, and with effort, XueYa cracked his eye open to see smiling crescent eyes peering down at him.
"Morning, husband," LiangLin purred, planting a peck on XueYa's yawning lips.
"You are up early," XueYa mumbled as he wrapped his arms around the slim waist, caressing the dip of LiangLin's back with his thumbs.
"It's the only time I can see your sleeping face," LiangLin admitted, pouting. "You always work me until I'm tired and fall asleep first. Are you a man or a beast?"
"Both?" XueYa grinned at the lips that were quivering from hiding a little pleased smile.
"Tsk." The snake god wriggled in XueYa's hold to get away. But XueYa flipped their position, drawing out a little yelp from LiangLin's lips as XueYa pinned the snake beneath him.
