Star City Warehousing/ Docks

This was truly a unique experience for me being out on my own. Even since I started this trip Jade and I stayed together for safety reasons, after all the Justice League hadn't been formed for a day or two by this point and freaks and weirdos were everywhere. But no way Jade ended up mixing with some Huntress chick and the duo went off to who knows where leaving me on my own.

The docks were just an after thought of mine, probably just me eager to find my Skull Island somewhere out there. I hadn't been paying too much attention but something definitely disturbed the quiet sounds of waves on the beach.

Whzzzz

A faint but barely audible sound of what seems like small propellers. Turning my head towards the sound I strain my hearing to calculate the distance to the sounds. After conceiving it to be in the shipping containers I made my way to the sound only to be surprised by what I saw.

In a makeshift bedroom/workshop inside of an old container was a small kid around 15 years old. Barely older than Artemis but what really struck my interest were his bald head and glowing green goggles. The kid was hunched over the bench fiddling with what appeared to be a backpack with four propellers on it.

I lightly leaned on the wall of the container and make myself comfortable before speaking "Nice bag but I think propellers are a bit old school don't you think?"

Without flinching or looking up at me the kid spoke while continuing his work, "But they work don't they? Anyways how come you're so close to me but I don't see heat coming off of you? Are you an android or one of those icy guys. Doesn't matter, what do you want since you could find me sure you came for a reason."

"Damn kid you can at least introduce yourself or face someone when chatting. Well it doesn't matter, nah I just thought you were interesting and wanted to chat with you a bit."

"Dont chat. I'm busy."

"Cmon kid, why are you out here anyway?"

"Not a kid. You're barely 3 years older than me based on your skeletal structure." The kid finally put down his tools with a dejected sigh as he turned around but not taking off his googles that glowed green with little yellow lines running through them and flashing "You're not gonna leave unless I entertain you aren't you? God I hate supers. Gizmo. What do you want."

Popping a squat on a stool I picked up randomly and looked back at him "Oh? Are we using codenames? Then Blue Marvel, or Adam. Chat with me Gizmo a kid like you can join almost anywhere you want, Starr Labs, Lex Corp., Smoak Technology, Wayne Group, so why are you living...here?"

"....next question. "

"Alright skip it, then tell me this are you interested in having a beneficial theoretical chat?"

We spent the next hour and a half talking about Mag-Lev gliders (Green Goblins), Ark reactors, Shrinking particles, Nano tech, Anti-psychic shielding, and we even sat down together and made the first Generation Titan Walkie. I kept one and he kept the other and said he'd upgrade it later. He didn't say he'd join my team right away but he also said he wouldn't accept working for others until he gave me a concrete answer.

After that Gizmo and I parted ways only communicating with our walkie or online and wouldn't meet each other again in person until 2 years later

But I didn't know it at the time.

PRESENT DAY

Walking into the showcase the sisters were amazed by the sight. The whole room was a giant circle with tubes lined on the walls. As soon as the four walked in four spots on the wall lit up and revealed their uniforms. For Artemis I ditched the classes all green uniform. Instead all uniforms made by me have the classic form and a stealth form. I even took the liberty to use some cheat metals I stored in my workshop during my creation period.

Artemis' suit was a full body silver vibranium battle suit with lavender streaks running down her arms, sides, and legs with a lavender belt with an A shaped arrow head logo similar to the one on its chest. The mask itself was silver as well and if you tapped and held the chest arrow, the whole suit turns vanta black and royal purple. The suit had came with solid defensive capabilities as well as the ability to charge kinetic energy and release in 3 ways. Either charge an arrow for a faster and harder hitting arrow, a full kinetic arrow which moves at the speed of sound for a heavy blow, and the full body defensive release. Yeah no more showing of your abs Artemis.

Jades suit needed more coverage and flexibility to add and create more shadows with her movements. So I kept it simple a dark green and gold trimmed body suit made of promethium to help her shadows respond faster. And then to top it off a shawl on her shoulders and sash around her waist. Of course her iconic mask was there and even her belt contained nanites to create whatever weapons she needs, and her sash is extendable.

Kori was even more simple as she came here in battle gear suited for her. The classis thigh high boots and short skirt with the top and neck/shoulder guards and cuffs. Although it looked like fabric it was actually metallic and the whole thing is designed to let her absorb more UV radiation.

Finally my suit. Dark Blue galactic glaze as a base tone with silver M on my shoulders creating two lines down the arms and the big silver M on my chest. To top it off a belt, boots and gloves also made of silver galactic glaze. I wanted a cape especially since I specifically trained to fight with one but then I turned it in an optional one. I made a dark blue and silver vest to carry things in and the neckline also carries my silver galactic glaze cape which can be used as a shield or restraint.

Each suit was set to be worn in a bracelet that activates on command. Of course they can be manually cleaned too. The girls wasted no time getting ready as did I. Artemis didn't purposely express it but she was clearly excited.

Without wasting too much time we entered the invisible jet and sped off to Cadmus.

Meanwhile at the Cadmus building Kid Flash, Robin and Aqualad had successfully snuck in when they heard some of the guards speaking

"I heard they finally caught that dwarf."

"Bout time been tracking him for weeks."

"He going with the others?"

"Yea far away from KR, can't having those freaks mess with such an important project after all."

As the guards walked away unaware that they said more than hey usually would have, the teens immediately started making plans and finally came to the decision check out KR and then save the 'freaks' on their way out.
