Tourney and uncomfortable questions

Eren POV

Currently I am preparing to go to the tourney grounds to fight as I already signed up to fight in the Melee. I am rather confident that I'm going to win because I'm faster and more agile than most of the other competitors from my ODM training along with just training in general, so I am very confident I can win this. So I believe if I am to win this I'm going to have to take advantage of my speed and should probably just blitz people. As I contemplated this idea I continue walking to the grounds.

Right before I enter the ground I make my armor with the wings of freedom on the back and dual swords from my Warhammer titan hardening ability so it all looks a pale white. As I enter I immediately catch others attention since my armor looks starkly different then there steel plate armor or leather armor. I even hear some people mumble questions about who I am.

I walk to the entrance of the melee grounds and enter. I take note of others weapons, armor and height so I can deduce there type of fighting style. I get to the group of fighters for the melee right before the horn is blown witch means we should enter the field. As I enter I again catch the eyes of the nobles and common folk in the stands, who give me looks of confusion because my armor looks very different from what they have seen. I also look at the stands to find Mikasa staring at me and mouths good luck towards me. I chuckle before walking to an empty spot in the match grounds.

I look around trying to estimate the amount of competitors, I guess their to be around a total of 90 fighters although only maybe 30 or so might actually be threats by there armor and weapons. Then I spot Ser Jamie Lannister otherwise known as the Kingslayer. I immediately know that he is revered as a great swordsman so I think that I might have a big challenge beating him.

The king stands up and begins his speech "I want to see some good fighting and try not to kill each other, so let the fighting begin " with that everyone rushed at each other.

Mikasa POV

As I hear the end of the Kings speech I can't help but get worried over Erens safety. Even though I know he is probably a better fighter than every man down there, there is still the possibility of him being injured even with his titan armor.( I'm pretty sure based of the anime titan hardening, it should be stronger than Valyrian steel as titan hardening has shattered ultra-hard steel on multiple occasions, while I'm not sure if Valyrian steel is as strong as that)

As I see Eren rush forward and start taking down the enemies left and right in mere seconds. I begin to hear murmurs behind me of people saying that the white knight is going to win. Hearing this reassures me that nobody down there is truly a threat to Eren. So I refocus on the battles below and watch as Eren faces off with another knight and as he quickly dispatches them. As I watch him just continue to knock knight after knight unconscious.

As Eren finally reaches a worthy opponent in Ser Barriston Selmy I again get slightly worried as everyone knows of just how skilled the captain of the kingsgaurd is, he's literally a walking legend. So for Eren to face him in one on one combat is a slightly scary idea. But alas all I can do is just wait and see, though if it ever really got bad I would jump in there and save Eren just like in our past life.

Eren POV

As I stare into Ser Barristans eyes I see a aged but seasoned warrior analyzing me for any weakness in my duel my stance. I am just about to say something when he speaks first "What is a young boy doing here?" I look at him before responding "Just trying to make some coins, Ser"; I respond with the proper title as he deserves.

Without as much more as a whisper I rush at him. I first attempt a couple of quick slashes for his torso and head. He quickly blocks before responding with a couple slashes of his own. I then attempt to bait him by over reaching with my left sword. He does not take the bait. But he does retaliate with a sword thrust towards my chest. I quickly attempt to knock the sword out of his hand by kicking the sword in his hand before slashing with my right sword at his side.

I strike true and get a hit on his right side causing him to collapse to his back in pain as I just hit him full force with a titan enhanced strength blow to the side. I kick the sword even farther away just in case he recuperates quick enough to strike me. I then hit his shield away and point both my titan swords at his neck as I say "yield, you have no weapons and are clearly in pain". He looks at me in the eyes before saying "I yield, that was a fine battle young man I hope to have another". I let him get up and leave before surveying the area. Though I won this time I understand that in his prime he probably could have beat me.

I see about four people left one of which being Jamie Lannister in his golden armor fighting a Crownlands knight and defeating him rather quickly. I look around for the other man and see a knight of the vale rushing at me. I quickly reciprocate and run at him with both my swords in hand. I get to him really quickly and our battle begins but I do not forget to keep an eye out for Jamie and always track were he is. Thankfully he seems content in allowing us two to fight first.

So I take full advantage of not needing to fight on two fronts and focus all my attention on the knight in front of me. I begin my offensive by slashing and thrusting my blades as quickly as I can which is extremely fast for the knight as he gets quickly overwhelmed and is forced to yield and leave the arena. So I face and turn to my last opponent of the day.

Jamie POV

I watch as this unknown Knight in white defeats the Valemen. I am not too worried about facing him but I am cautious as I spotted him defeat Ser Barriston. So I know he must be skilled, that is why I let the valemen and him fight. I did it for mainly two reasons, one of which being so that I could relax and not be as fatigued for whoever I was fighting, the second reason being that I could analyze the fighting style of whoever I was going to fight.

So as I stared at my final opponent I couldn't help but wonder who and where this knight came from. So I asked "Who are you where do you hail from, and is that your house sigil on your back because I have never heard of or seen one like it". He looks contemplative before he responds "My name is Eren Yeager, I come from a small town in the Crownlands, and no this isn't my house Sigil as I am not part of a house". I look at him dumbfounded as I was not expecting a common peasant to defeat one of the most skilled swordsmen, and to also have such nice armor. So I ask more questions "where did you learn to fight the and were did you get that armor, it looks far to expensive for any common folk to buy".

He once again responds to my questions "I learned to fight by myself with a friend of mine, and I made this armor from some steel I found during my travels". I look skeptically as neither of those answers seemed to add up as you don't just learn to fight by yourself you need to have an instructor even if you were a prodigy such as myself and to just find metal, especially a white one then to forge it into armor and dual swords seems like a hard task for a common folk to accomplish.

Eren POV

I was starting to grow annoyed by his constant questions. As me and Mikasa had come up with a cover story just incase we were questioned on our origins. Though some of his questions were quite annoying especially the one about my armor, as what was I suppose to say that I had a power that could make me into a giant creature and also create harden skin of sed giant that was so strong that normal steel would break on contact if they swung at each other. No I couldn't so I said the first thing that came to mind which was that I found steel on a trip. Which was incredibly dumb but that doesn't matter anymore as I rushed at the blond man trying to attack him while he is undefended.I put up both my blades up so that they could both slash down but he put his shield up quick enough for my slashes to only make indents in his shield.

He attempted to thrust his sword forward at me but I hit his sword away and slashed with my other arm attempting to hit him on the side but he put his shield in the way. I can tell that I'm faster and stronger than him so if I just keep going at him he'll eventually slip up and I'll win.

Alas I underestimated his stamina, after 5 minutes of battle neither of us could get an advantage. Until I once again slashed my left sword but then in unexpected turn of events he trapped the sword between his shoes and sword and managed to dislodge the sword of my grip. The sword went flying.

Robert Baratheon POV

From the stands I watch the melee after announcing the start. My eyes stay focused on one combatant. The one fighter in the white armor was truly and excellent warrior with those swords of his. As I continue to watch him I see him dispatch more and more people. I internally start to wonder who this Knight is as no normal common folk would be this good. I then watch a most incredible thing, he some how also manages to defeat Ser Barristan. It once again made me wonder just who this Knight was.

It looked as though this melee was coming to a close as only 4 competitors were left and rapidly the number dwindled down to only two. It was the mysterious white knight against the Kingslayer. I very much hope for this White knight to beat my wife's brother. I continue watching as Jamie asks his questions which very much surprise me since I thought this man was a Knight from some noble family. But I was wrong, though I don't really care as long as he beats the Knigslayer.

I watch in fascination as the two battle rapidly. I watch as this so called Eren Yeagers sword flys away from him. I look over to see my Wife's reaction to this and see her smirking smugly. This makes me want Eren to win even more to just annoy Cersei. I watch as Eren throws sand from the ground into Jamie's eyes and tackles him to the ground while stripping him of his sword and shield. I watch rather smugly as he repeatedly hits him with his first in the face before pointing his sword at Jamie's throat and saying yield rather loudly.

Of course he says that he yields but oh so quietly. I arise in applause everyone else also rising in applause though Cersei's was much less enthused than everyone else's. I in my loud voice that cuts through the crowd noise say "come here Eren Yeager". I wonder if I should Knight him for beating two of the Kingsgaurd, I might as well since others have been knighted for much less and it would greatly annoy Cersei. I make up my plan as Eren Yeager is standing in front of the platform.

Eren POV

I stand waiting for the king to speak and give me my gold so that me and Mikasa could go back to our regular life's. Alas I realized it was not bound to happen once I heard the Kings next words.
