Patch Me Up Again!

The bodach was in such a restless state that he never left Jennifer unwatched for a moment. The holy water had created a transparent wall between him and Jennifer. He could see her, but couldn't feel her, couldn't smell her, couldn't touch her, couldn't waft into her body to have a lavish party.

"I'm so lucky to have you, but I'm so unlucky to be away from you," he always muttered to himself while looking at her lecherously.

Then one day he got an idea, which would certainly work for him to get her love and lust back again. He contacted Jennifer's Qareen.

A Qareen, which refers to a human's inbred companion, is the spiritual double of a human. It is also called consubstantial. It is either a part of the human himself or herself or a complementary creature in a parallel dimension. Due to its ghostly nature, the Qareen is classified among jinn-type creatures. According to Islamic belief, every human being is born with a Qareen, who accompanies him or her till death. This Qareen pushes a person to do evil things and disobey Allah (God). In other words, this Qareen is also called an evil power.

Another companion has also been assigned to every human being. This companion is an angel-type creature, who tries to push and persuades a man or a woman to do good and positive things to follow the right path. If a person follows their angel, they remain successful here and the hereafter, however, if a person follows their Qareen, they go astray. The angel may contact other angels in the surrounding, whereas the Qareen might be associated with other evil powers like demons etc. to whisper into a human's ears to misguide to commit sins to devastate their worldly as well as eternal life.

The motive for sinning might be the enticing of the devil or the desires of the evil-enjoining self. The apparent indication in this regard is that the devil (evil power of Satan) whispers with  Qareen (evil power within a person) just as the Qareen whispers with a human. Therefore, to get protection from such devils, there must be ritual practices to be carried out regularly to repel such devils whispering.

Somehow Jennifer's demon managed to contact her Qareen and requested her companion to pursue and insist Jennifer not perform any protective practices like spilling holy water on the door or on the windows to dispel him away from Jennifer. The demon beseeched Jennifer's Qareen to create some marital conflict between Jennifer and Sam and to insist Jennifer not obey and comply with Sam, but have her way. He knew that everyone has personal preferences. Demanding one's self-interest prevails and it is a choice that always affects the marriage. He believed in the policy of divide and rule.

It had been so long since he enjoyed the feast of Jennifer's body. He was famished. His nights have become insipid and tedious. He wanted her back as early as possible. "I wish I were with you in this room right now. I wish I could put my arms around you. I wish I could touch you." This is what the demon began chanting after his segregation and uncoupling from Jennifer, "I miss you a lot but don't worry I'll wait for you and keep stalking you no matter how long it takes for you to make up your mind."

Jennifer's Qareen had been entrusted with the task of bringing Jennifer back to the demon as he communicated with him. The initial challenge was to cause a rift between both husband and wife to cripple the power of unity in their marriage. These enemies, the demon and the Qareen,  who declared war to destroy their marriage, were convinced that if they succeed in their attempts to separate the husband and wife, the demon will have his chance to manipulate Jennifer again.

The mission was launched.

The demon used his nasty tactics to segregate the husband and wife. Firstly fear, which has great power in one's life. The fear of anything will cause one to fail in it. The demon wanted Jennifer to be afraid of everything. He communicated with the Qareen to make Jennifer quiver powerlessly and hopelessly in the face of the overwhelming tide of unknowns. He wanted her marriage to be overshadowed by distress and worries. He wanted to stress and anxiety to consume her thoughts so she could not pay heed to strengthen her relationship with Sam. The Qareen began the mission of whispering into Jennifer's heart and mind to do the don'ts.

Secondly, lies are the root cause of all evil.  The demon whispered to her Qareen to make Jennifer lie as frequently as she could. If the demon has his chance to copulate with Jennifer, she will lie about him to Sam and will never be cured spiritually. She will lie about her condition and will make subterfuge about anything. Her Qareen will push her to make lame excuses to stay away from her husband but to make love with the demon

Thirdly, there are always scoffers, those who are jealous, angry, and bitter. The demon also planned to use scoffers to incite fear, doubt, and insecurity to destroy the husband and wife relationship. In this regard, the demon also contacted the Qareens of Sam, Jennifer's sisters, and a few neighbors to get their support to pass nasty devilish whisperings. In the wake of such whisperings, Jennifer's sisters began inquiring about Jennifer's marriage life and if she was contented and elated with Sam. They would also extend their suggestions, which were certainly untimely, inadequate as well as dispute-inciting.

It is said that no city or house divided against itself stands. If the devil divides husband and wife, he can conquer the marriage. Why is there so much divorce in our societies? The enemy knows that he can destroy all our good deeds if he destroys our family systems.

The devil knows that divisions start with disagreements and insignificant situations. They come in the form of bickering and arguing, lack of communication, misplaced priorities, and unmet expectations. Divisions occur in marriages when selfishness is the motivation and pride is the platform.

The demon was well aware that when husband and wife refuse to reconcile, they are either choosing to remain forever inwardly focused leading to a brittle relationship or the couple will experience the complete death of their marriage; the antidote to division in marriage is in the hearts of husband and wife. That is why the demon wanted Jennifer and Sam to split up and never be reunified.

"You'd promised me that we would go on a trip to Madagascar this month, but you've just overlooked it?" Jennifer complained to Sam about his behavior.

"Darling, I remember, how can I forget? I was just busy with a new assignment. You know I've been promoted to the position of senior reporter? Sam replied modestly.

"Sam, don't you realize that you're distancing from me nowadays?" Jennifer spoke sarcastically.

"No way dear…it's your misreading!" Sam replied calmly.

"So you think I can't interpret accurately…hmm? Jennifer replied in a bitter tone.

"No, I never meant that…" Sam replied apologetically.

"Oh .. you're taunting me…right?" Jennifer raised her voice.

"No… I'm not..." Sam's voice also went a bit higher.

"You mean… I'm lying…I'm a liar!" Jennifer frowned and glowered at Sam.

"Why're you bickering over a trifle?" Sam lowered her voice and tried to simmer her down.

"Oh… so you mean… I'm a nasty nagging nuisance! I quarrel over minor issues?" Jennifer spoke unpleasantly.

"You're insane!… You're making a mountain out of a molehill! You don't want to keep peace at home?" Sam also retaliated a bit harshly.

"Yes… absolutely… I'm the one who made your life hell…I'm the one who visited your house…I'm the one who begged you for marriage…I'm the one who…." Jennifer spoke uncontrollably.

"Stop this shit! You're getting on my nerves!" Sam shouted like a maniac.

"Ok… right… no issue… I'm leaving… going to my own house to my comfort…bye…" Jennifer, screaming out of her lungs, departed.

Sam neither replied nor stopped her.

Jennifer, who had left her house after marriage to live with Sam in his house, returned to her own house where the devilish demon was waiting for her desperately. In her haste to leave the house, Jennifer had forgotten to carry the Holy Mixture provided by Hammad Syed, the faith healer for protection from the demon. The Qareen's whispering and the demon's planning were progressing well.
