Benjamin Calvin is the dean of Eden University. He is five feet seven. He had the scholar type of haircut and their usual goatee beard. He is an accomplished man of the early two hundred years. He walked up to the podium at 8 a.m. He was to address the examination students. You know... those brief, boring talks about the university. Then, the do's and don'ts of the entrance examination.
Surprisingly enough, the majority of the applicants will seriously listen but will never internalize what was said a few seconds ago. Who cares to listen to boring stuff that won't add meaning to their lives? Frankly speaking, the aspiring students just want to get into the good books of the Dean of Eden University. The first impression matters. When a dean of a famous university sees an aspirin student as a good child from a good family that understands the value of good home training, they subconsciously have favouritism, and this might help such a student in the future.
