Mystica and Kaileigh separated from the military force and embarked on a chosen assassination role.

The military proceeded to the first defense line. The arrow trebuchets and dynamites will be used to distort the spirit beasts from focusing on the attacking military troops. They are to attack and retreat to the first line of defense. When the spirit beasts launch a counterattack, the arrows from the trebuchets will be launched. Those arrows will be coming in between the raging spirit beasts and the offensive military, who are engaged in annoying harassment.

The gunners and archers stayed behind the defense line while the rest of the military units proceeded on to the marching spirit beasts. They won't allow the spirit beasts to get to the first line of defense before engaging in a battle.
