Yakuse! First Spot Only.

Lin slowly opened his eyes, the sterile white walls of the infirmary coming into focus. His body ached, but he managed a weak smile as May sat beside him, concern etched across her face.

"Lin, you collapsed after your duel with Choi. The strain must have been too much for your body to handle. But don't worry, you're safe now. How are you feeling?" May gently whispered to Lin.

"I still feel sore, but i have had worse. Thanks, May. I can't believe I passed out. Choi truly gave me a run for my time and training. How did the rest of the tournament go?"

"Everyone kept applauding and chanting your name even after you had passed out. Seems like the love the people have for the Hori name is unwaved," May reassured Lin, "what would have a cadet done against such brilliant ranger?"

May proceeded to fill Lin in on the events that unfolded in his absence. The competitors had fought fiercely, each displaying their unique abilities and pushing themselves to their limits. But as the rounds progressed, it became apparent that two individuals stood out above the rest: Draco and Choi.

Draco , known for his newfound goofiness yet fierce nature, had surprised everyone with his incredible mage skills. He had unleashed a barrage of spells, conjuring elements with ease and exhibiting a level of mastery that surpassed expectations. His opponents were left bewildered, struggling to keep up with his relentless onslaught.

On the other hand, Choi's ability to predict movements had propelled him through each round effortlessly. His opponents found themselves unable to land a single blow as Choi gracefully evaded and countered with precise strikes. His blind eyes seemed to see everything, leaving the crowd in awe of his remarkable skill.

As the tournament neared its climax, the atmosphere in the arena crackled with anticipation. The final showdown would pit Draco against Choi, a battle that promised to be legendary.

"Draco against Choi? That's going to be one intense duel. Their skills are mind-blowing in their own right. I can't wait to see how it unfolds. This is definitely sometimes I would love to watch. Will be rooting for Draco, though."

Lin excitement in Lin's eyes glowing.

"Oh, Lin, you're in for a treat. The entire tournament has been building up to this moment. Draco 's explosive mage abilities against Choi's uncanny predictions—it's a clash of titans!" May replied, grinning at Lin.

Lin's eyes sparkled with anticipation as he imagined the clash of powers that awaited. The final round would showcase the pinnacle of skill and determination, and he regretted missing out on the earlier battles.

The atmosphere was electric with excitement. The crowd filled every corner of the arena, their voices blending into a deafening roar. Lin, having recovered enough to attend, found a spot beside May, their eyes fixed on the arena floor.

"Oi, blind bat!, a little bird told me you can't predict my moves if I don't move. I am quite exhausted from fighting those with good sight, so let's make this quick," Draco taunted.

"I guess the little bird also didn't tell you I can perceive energies too," Choi grinned, "Let the best man win."

The duel began, and Draco wasted no time, channelling his energy into a dazzling display of magic. Fireballs erupted, lightning crackled through the air, and gusts of wind whipped through the arena. His spells weaved a symphony of destruction, aimed at overwhelming Choi's senses.

Choi, his blind eyes focused, met Draco 's onslaught with unwavering composure. His predictions allowed him to anticipate Draco 's every move, gracefully evading each spell with an uncanny ease. It seemed like an impasse, the clash of Draco 's raw power against Choi's impenetrable defences.

But then, in a moment of sheer brilliance, Draco unleashed a move that left the crowd breathless. With a wave of his hand, he summoned a swirling vortex of elements, drawing in fire, wind, and lightning into a maelstrom of energy. The arena trembled as the swirling vortex intensified.

As the vortex reached its peak, Draco released the amassed energy in a single, cataclysmic blast. The crowd watched in awe as a torrent of raw power surged toward Choi, his eyes widening in realization.

With lightning-fast reflexes, Choi attempted to evade, but the blast was too overwhelming. It consumed him in a blinding display of light and force, causing the entire arena to shake with its sheer magnitude. The crowd erupted in a chorus of gasps and cheered as the blast dissipated, leaving behind a cloud of smoke and debris.

As the smoke cleared, Draco stood at the epicentre of the destruction, his chest heaving with exertion. A triumphant smile crossed his face as he surveyed the scene. The arena was in shambles, evidence of the tremendous power he had unleashed.

The crowd fell into stunned silence, their eyes fixed on the spot where Choi had been. An air of uncertainty filled the arena as they waited, hoping to catch a glimpse of the blind student emerging unscathed.

And then, to their astonishment, Choi stepped out from the dissipating smoke. His clothes were singed, and his body bore minor cuts and bruises, but his determination remained unshaken. His blind eyes glimmered with a newfound intensity, his aura undeterred by the devastating attack.

"Impressive, Draco . But don't count me out just yet," Choi grinned.

"Only the blind are unable to see when doom is about to devour them," Draco replies as his ego grew.

With a sudden burst of energy, Choi launched himself at Draco with unparalleled speed. His movements were a blur, his strikes calculated and precise. Draco , caught off guard, struggled to match Choi's newfound vigour.

The battle that ensued was a symphony of skill and determination. Draco unleashed wave after wave of powerful spells, each one met with Choi's nimble evasion and devastating counters. The arena reverberated with the clash of their powers, their energies intertwining in a mesmerizing dance.

Despite his relentless assault, Draco couldn't break through Choi's defences. The blind student seemed to anticipate his every move, countering with uncanny accuracy. The crowd held their breath, torn between awe at Choi's abilities and anticipation of Draco 's next move.

Then, with a cunning grin on his face, Draco 's expression shifted. He had a plan.

"Choi, you may predict my movements, but can you predict the unpredictable?" Draco taunted Choi.

"Yakuse!"

With those words, Draco channelled his magic into a spell unlike anything he had shown before. He tapped into the raw, untamed chaos of magic itself, weaving together threads of unpredictability and disorder.

As the spell took shape, the arena crackled with an electric energy. The very fabric of reality seemed to twist and warp around them. Choi, sensing the impending danger, narrowed his focus, determined to overcome this new challenge.

But Draco 's spell unfolded with a force that defied comprehension. The unpredictable energies surged forward, distorting Choi's predictions and shattering his defences. In a moment of vulnerability, Draco seized the opportunity.

With a swift motion, Draco delivered a final blow, knocking Choi to the ground. The crowd erupted into thunderous applause, their cheers echoing throughout the arena. Draco had emerged victorious, his cunning and mastery of magic prevailing over Choi's unparalleled predictions.

As the dust settled, Draco walked towards Choi, "I wish this had taken less time. You did well, but consider this retribution for Lin"

"Well fought, Draco . Your ability to harness chaos itself is truly remarkable. You've earned this victory," Choi remarked gracefully.

"And you've pushed me to my limits, Choi. I would have preferred facing off against Lin so that I can crush him to thin dust," Draco said, a smirk plastered on his face.

Choi was left surprised. Draco had just had his revenge for the same person he wanted to crush to dust.

"What exactly is his deal?" Choi thought.

The crowd cheered and applauded, recognizing the skill and resilience displayed by both competitors. The battle between Draco and Choi had surpassed all expectations, leaving an indelible mark on the tournament's history.

"It's payback time. I am coming for you all that have done me wrong!" Draco cursed.

Draco's face was red with rage as the battlefield fell into absolute silence.

"What's going on?"

"What is he talking about?"

"Hmmm..."

"He has gone mad with victory,"

"Somebody put him down."

Different comments could be heard amongst the spectators.

"I am here for nothing but the first spot! Nothing will stop me, not even death could dare," Draco said before walking out.

"Wow! Such a performance! Isn't Draco Hugh just amazing? An amazing mage and actor," the commentator's screamed.

"It is true that cadets have never been given the opportunity for advanced training at Grenguard to put their potentials to use early. This year, it's seems like a lot is about to change," the commentator's voice drawing the curtain of the day.
