"But we won't force you to keep the baby," Han Wooju added. "Dr. Im is here to explain the risks involved in your pregnancy. Please listen to her before you decide, Miss Baek."

Gyubin touched her belly carefully.

"If the life form in my womb isn't human, then how long do you think my pregnancy will last if I decide to keep it?

"To be honest, I can't tell how long the pregnancy will last yet. The egg is already three months old. I need to observe its growth first," Dr. Im Rian explained. "If the growth of the fetus stabilizes now that it has implanted itself comfortably in your womb, then we can assume that you might give birth to it in six or seven months. But if the growth slows down, then it might last longer than a normal human pregnancy."

Gyubin smiled bitterly while touching her throat which was starting to get itchy. "If it's the latter, then I won't be able to give birth to it."

"What do you mean…"

COUGH.

Dr. Im Rian wasn't able to finish her question when Gyubin suddenly coughed up a huge chunk of blood accompanied by little red daisies.

Yes, she coughed up blood and flowers.

The sight shocked both the doctor and Hunter Han Wooju.

"I'm dying," Gyubin confessed with a smile on her face. It was something that the two would find out later anyway. "I only have one year left to live."
