"I THOUGHT the team assigned to our little village would arrive next week," Gyuri said to the boy who introduced himself as Jung Sihun while gently pressing the ice pack on her swollen cheek. "You're here early, sir."
"It's because I'm kinda excited for my first mission," Jung Sihun said, his cheeks turning red as if he was embarrassed. "My parents are working for the government. So, when I awakened, I got a job as a Hunter. Since my rank is pretty high, I got dispatched right away."
"Did you run away here because your parents didn't want you to get dispatched?"
He flinched. "How did you know?"
