Showcase 11: Blood Clears Illusion
Rei feels disgusting.
Protecting Kaito, fighting te organisation of dumb people with Akira is good.
Until the pro assassin Spider comes in.
Illusions and needles.
They both knew the poison has no effect on them, but the illusions are just annoying.
The only person who can clear illusions is...
Akatsuki.
Akatsuki has a special power: Blood sight. This power gives Akatsuki a clear sight when the blood of any kind is spilt anywhere, even in mid-air. This means any illusion will be seen through by Akatsuki.
Then they will just have to wait until Akatsuki comes.
"It is quite surprising you have knocked out all of my squad and not fall down dead by my poison." Spider says in a sick tone, "I will have a fun time playing with you two!~"
"Akira-san."
"Hmm?"
"We will have to hold our stands-"
"Until Akatsuki comes, right? I know."
Meanwhile, Akatsuki is standing in the area of shadows, looking closely at Spider's movements. She is slowly figuring out Spider's thoughts and movements. She keeps an eye on Spider while grabs a knife and cuts her hand. Red liquid starts leaking as she spreads the metallic smelling blood on her eyes. She then opens them. Her scarlet eyes turn into a deeper crimson.
"I'm ready, Rei. Coming down to you guys in three, two-"
Akatsuki jumps down.
"One."
Her knife stabs into Spider's gut.
Spider screams in pain.
"Well, I should've come here earlier. I missed so much fun." Akatsuki says with a wicked smile.
Everything's about to go down.
Meanwhile
"Kaito's taking a long time."
Hakuba states the obvious to Nide.
"Don't look at me!" Nide says, hesitates, then says, "Okay, I'll get Kaito with someone I know, okay?!"
"Fine. I'll wait here."
Nide rushes off, just as Akako and Aoko come in.
"Did you see!? Chat Noir and Ladybug are so AMAZING!" Aoko exclaims.
Let's go to Nide--->
Nide reaches out for his phone to a contact list called "Kudo Family".
Scrolling down, Nide stops at "Snow" (This is not my character. This is for Kudo_Snow_4869)
He clicks, and then...
"Hello? Nide, is it?"
"Yeah, Rei's younger brother. I need your help to get Kuroba-san out of a sticky situation."
"Organisation trouble?"
"Yep."
"Okay. F**king on it. Send me a location, please."
Click.
"Send."
"Thanks. On my way."
After the incident with the B.O. Snow has calmed down a lot. His brother has a boyfriend now and his boyfriend is in trouble (Yes, Rei told Snow about Kaito being Kid).
After a few minutes, they meet at an isolated construction site. Never a good sign. You can hear metal clangs.
"So... Who is the person that made this a sticky situation?" Snow asks.
"Spider. Illusionist and assassin."
"Great. Just f**king great. You have a-"
A scream comes out of the construction site.
"Yeah, I do. We have a new person on the battlefield that can buy us some time."
Nide and Snow sneak into the construction site.
Kuroba, with all the white (except the pants) taken off, was hiding in the shadows, while the battle continues. The objective is to take Kaito away without Spider noticing. Akatsuki is doing a great job letting Spider focus on the battlefield rather than the surrounding.
The pair sneaks up to Kaito closer and closer, until they finally reach him.
"Kuroba-kun."
"EH!?" Kaito whisper-shouts.
"Shush. We're getting you out of here."
Sneaking out: Successful.
Getting Kaito back to Hakuba, Akako and Aoko: Successful.
Thinking of a lie for Akira and Rei's disappearance: Quite successful.
"I can only say they have received things about their part-time jobs, so now they are talking to their boss."
Not the majority is buying that lie. Aoko seems to buy it, so it's fine.
"I think we need to clean some mess up. Hakuba-kun, Akako-san." Nide says.
"What is it, Nide?"
"We have some mess to clean up. Make sure Aoko doesn't notice. We'll get going."
"Okay."
