Nine Tails

A deafening noise echoed across the planet Mysti, blood was everywhere, bodies of animals, humans, demons, and other beings were visible everywhere. Most of these bodies seemed like empty shells, their skin dry and wrinkled, had changed to a brown color as if it indicated that they had no more vitality. The wind blew strongly, causing the corpses to be blown away as if they were dust.

In the midst of this desolate space stood a colossal creature, its eyes gleaming in a brilliant violet that could frighten any being in front of it. Its nine tails pointing towards the sky were collecting the spiritual energy of the dead creatures, its imposing body was growing rapidly, and its claws of a black-violet tone were destroying the ground around it.

"So, they've arrived," grumbled the beast. Before the beast were thousands of men and women, all of different races, but the ones who stood out the most were knights in a great white armor. They bore the symbol of six wings on the chest of their armor, and in their hands were weapons that shone with a pure white color, as if dissipating the darkness.

One of the great tails of the beast rose and pointed towards the thousands of warriors, a brilliant ball of violet light appeared at the tip of its tail.

"Disperse!" shouted a man wearing a crown, dressed in white armor. But before he could make a simple move, a violet light enveloped some of the warriors.

"Slow down," as if time had stopped, the men and women trapped by the light couldn't move.

"Don't let it touch you," the man yelled nervously. "We have to defend this planet at all costs, we can't allow it to grow stronger."

And as if they all agreed, they prepared their spells for battle.

The beast, lifting its other tail, emitted an orange light from which smaller versions of the beast emerged, foxes with orange and white fur and violet eyes. They lunged at the men and women who were ready to devour them.

Hours passed, and the battle showed no signs of ceasing. Thousands of men had died, and there were many fox corpses scattered around.

In the midst of the battlefield stood the man with the crown, facing the great beast.

The battle between the man with the crown and the beast was an epic confrontation that defied the limits of imagination. The man, with his resplendent armor, stood out amidst the chaos.

The beast's tails twisted and gleamed with energy as they prepared to unleash their deadly powers.

The first tail of the beast rose and unleashed a torrent of blazing fire towards the man with the crown. However, the man's armor shone brightly, forming a shield that absorbed and dissipated the fire, leaving him unharmed.

The second tail of the beast emitted an electric bolt that streaked across the sky, but the man with the crown responded with an energy shield that surrounded him, deflecting the deadly discharge.

The third tail of the beast unleashed a furious wind that threatened to sweep the man away, but he stood firm, gripping the ground tightly while his armor protected him from the onslaught of the wind.

The battle continued with a dance of attacks and defenses. The man with the crown did not yield to the formidable powers of the beast, and every time it attempted to harm him, his armor responded with astonishing countermeasures.

The thunderous roars and flashes of the battle filled the air as both contenders fought for supremacy in a showdown that would determine the fate of the planet Mysti.

The man, with his great sword, approached and delivered a strike that the beast blocked with its claws.

The beast swung its claws, attempting to tear the man's body apart.

The man, trusting in his armor, blocked the attack, but what he didn't know was that the tail of the beast was approaching from the side. He reacted quickly and managed to block the claw. Then, he saw the tail approaching him.

Trusting in his armor, he also summoned a brilliant shield of light to block the attack.

"Ugh, how is this possible!" the man exclaimed. The attack passed through his armor as if it were nothing, impacting his body.

The blow was so lethal that it sent him flying towards a mountain. The mountain was destroyed, leaving only a trail of rocks. The man, who was sent flying, tried to regain his composure.

He stood up with the support of his sword and shield. Blood was dripping, and his long golden hair had been stained by the blood that came from him.

The beast quickly approached him, trying to end the man's life.

But before it could do so, hundreds of beings stood before it. Knights in armor were prepared to protect their leader. He wasn't their king, but he was more valued than the king himself. The man who had given a future to all these knights was this man, and they would not allow him to die.

"Holy shield," the knights shouted in unison. Their determination to protect was evident in their shout.

A large white shield with six wings appeared before them, causing the beast to take a step back. Its tail began to glow with a dark black hue, and a black sphere appeared in front of it. The sphere exploded towards the knights.

"Anti-magic?" one of the knights stuttered. A sinister smile appeared on the beast's mouth, and its sharp teeth frightened the men.

The beast lunged at the knights, but before it could devour them, a white light shot towards it. The man with the crown struck the beast, sending it flying towards the mountains.

Blood continued to drip from his body, and he didn't have much time left. A man approached him, attempting to use magic to heal him, although they knew it was futile, desperation was clear.

The great beast reemerged from the rubble left, it had a cut on the chest. "Tsk," an annoyed click was heard from one of the knights.

"If I am going to die, I will die with the captain and for the captain," the man shouted. Clutching his chest, he muttered a few words, leaving the other knights stunned, but they knew. They knew that they couldn't handle the beast and that the only one who could handle it was the captain or the King, but the king didn't want to put her life at risk and spent her life in a room with his wives and concubines.

The other knights began to do the same as the man before them, and a golden light appeared in their chests.

"I, Reinhard, the knight of the first division, give my life and power to Sir Aurelius," they recited, and the same light started to shine.

"You...damn idiots, how dare you!" Aurelius shouted.

"Shut up, you know perfectly well that if we don't do this, everyone will die. I'd rather be a hero than die in vain. Besides, captain, you're a liar. You said that if I became a knight I could touch some breasts and I haven't touched any yet," At the comment of one of the gentlemen, all the others rolled their eyes and couldn't help but think that he was still the same idiot as always.

"You know that we are going to die anyway, right? At least let's put an end to the person who caused our death, even if it's not me who does it. As long as the beast dies, it's fine," at those words, Aurelius couldn't help but become conflicted.

"Holy sacrifice," before Aurelius could react, all the men were on the ground. A golden light appeared from their bodies entering his.

His injuries recovered, and he felt like he had become more powerful, his muscles felt like they could destroy everything.

"You..."

"Tsk, if I find them again I'm going to give them a lesson and extra hours of training," he knew that it was a sacrifice and that the power was temporary, so he decided to give it his all. He knew that he was going to die after the effect wore off.

The beast approached him, starting another battle.

A few hours later...

An area could be seen, there were only dead bodies everywhere. Only two beings remained: a man who was missing an arm and a leg, and his chest was pierced.

In front of him was a beast whose nine tails had been severed, its eyes open with cuts, and a large hole in its chest.

The two beings had slow, labored breaths, knowing that neither of them would survive.

"Well, well." Suddenly, a mocking voice rang out, startling the two beings. Aurelius, the more surprised of the two, didn't know how to react.

"You, weren't you dead?"

The beast, which seemed to have a bloodthirst that could terrify anyone, remained silent.
