Light can be condensed!?

Raito spent a few hours playing around with his newfound ability. He soon noticed that if he decided to, he could brighten certain areas of the lamp while darkening another side, and even going as far as moving where the source of light was! Of course, when he did so, the lamp would replenish the bulb's supply while the light he controlled slowly scattered around the room, clearly due to his lack of control in his ability, so a perfect ball of light without scattering was impossible. But one of the best parts, he could even flow the light so that it would move where he desired, taking any shape he wished! As long as there was any amount of light, he could gather it and make instant illusions! Of course, their duration lasted based on the area it took with the amount of light used.

A few hours later...

"I wonder what would happen if I concentrated a lot of light into a single point?" Raito thought. Deciding to test it, he turned off the lamp for it to gather some light, left it for about a minute, and gathered all the light that flashed out when he turned it back on. Quickly concentrating it all into a single point, he tried to release it in one brilliant flash, wanting to see just how bright it could get. He long understood that for some reason, his eyes could withstand an unlimited amount of light going directly into them.. but then Yuki knocked on his door.

"Raito? You there? I thought we agreed to go back to fighting an hour ago!" she said.

Startled by her sudden appearance, Raito jumped forward, directly into his ball of concentrated light.. but the hard fall he expected never came, and he realized there was a wispy feeling around his torso where he had hit the ball of light, and it stopped his fall! What was even more strange is that if he didn't pay attention, he wouldn't even notice the strange feeling, since it only billowed his shirt a little as it spread accross his upper body due to the sudden weight put on it. Slowly, as the light diffused into the air, he was set face-down on the solid floor. With his heart still beating extremely fast, he quickly answered,

"Sorry! I lost track of the time!"

"Well hurry up! I'm getting tired of waiting for your naps to finish." Yuki mocked.

Raito sighed. Sure enough, Yuki was still Yuki.
