I went home on Monday and did my homework and began to think.

'If Jackie and Carter enjoy themselves, then maybe she won't be mad at us. But then, she still will, since she hates dates.' I thought as I began to pace back and forth around my room. 'Why am I thinking about this now? If anything, Noah should be thinking about HIS plan, not me! I want a milkshake.'

I decided to call Noah.

"Hello." he said when he answered.

"Noah, why am I the one planning the blind date when it was your idea?"

"You're not the only one planning it! Oh and don't tell Jaclyn, but the twins are a part of the plan too."

"Why did I even call you if I wasn't even gonna get the answers I wanted?" I asked as I made a sour face.

"I don't know."

"Okay, bye!" I said as I hung up the phone.

I quickly went through my purse until I found my wallet. I had $54.70.

'Working part time at the book shop was worth it!' I thought as I ran downstairs.

"And where do you think you're going?" my mother asked as I froze in the doorway.

"To get a milkshake." I said without turning around.

"Are you going with friends?" she asked with a tone that made me feel like she was standing directly behind me when she was still standing in the kitchen.

"Yes." I lied to her, so she didn't make me stay home.

"Okay, have fun!" she said.

I walked out of my house and sighed a sigh of relief.

"Thank goodness." I said as I walked to the garage and grabbed my bike.

I rode my bike to a nearby park and sat on a bench for a while. I began to think about the worst idea of this century: setting Jaclyn up on a date. I felt a familiar hand on my head and turned around. It was Chloe. She was wearing a pink hoodie nownow instead if the sky blue sweater I have her for her birthday.

"Hey, Rub'!" she said with a smile.

"What's up, hun?" I said as I saw a male figure that fit her older brother.

"Depending on what happens, I might kill your friend. Yo got that?" he said with an angry look.

"Okay, okay." I said as I put my hand support in a surrendering gesture.

"Okay, bub, I'll stay with my friend and you can go away." Chloe said as she plopped down by me.
