Chapter 18

Akila,

"You look so beautiful this morning, your highness."

A noblewoman who Akila had forgotten her name said. They have been swarming her since this morning.

She was surprised when she found them waiting for her in her quarter's small garden.

After refusing to move in the king's wives and concubines on the east side of the palace, Ramses had asked her to move there, that he had prepared special quarters, but she refused.

Here is closer to him and she already got used to the halls and so many rooms and gardens.

The king didn't like it but Akila pursued him and in the end; he gave her what she wanted.

She didn't expect that this will make her even closer to the nobles and their intrusion.

So here she is sitting in once her peaceful garden listing to some women who were fawning over her.

"Your hair is so beautiful, my queen. How did you dye it this color? And it is so soft, too."
