"Ramses, please open your eyes to see your son. I beg you to come back and be with us. We need you."

Akila whispered in her husband's ear softly, then waited to look at his face.

But she whimpered silently when nothing changed, not even a fluttering in his eyes.

"He is in deep sleep, your highness. I have been trying to talk with him for several days now, but I failed."
