At the same time, there is not enough experience in writing live dialogues, not enough liveliness, emotions, body language of the characters. They turn out static.

It's easier for me to write text blocks with reflection rather than conversation. Of course, this genre also has its readers, since the information is real and interesting. BUT, a big BUT, if the novel were more dynamic then more people would read it.

To be objective, the topic of the Silk Road, this topic has great prospects, it is very interesting. But here again, it turns out, it must be shown and not said.

The Silk Road is traded, it is robbers, merchants, intrigues, betrayals, cunning strategies, deceit, a thirst for profit. Gold and diamonds, old maps and manuscripts that have remained lying in the abandoned by all cities. And there are not one or two such cities, these are thousands of cities! Who are waiting for their researchers and discoverers!

Not to mention treasures and hiding places in the mountains and old steppe roads, desert, and cities.

These were spies who stole the secrets of tea, silk, glass, gunpowder, steel, they stole technologies that destroyed monopolies and made other countries more developed.

This is a very exciting study. One small path leads to a long way, it leads to one city. then to another and now the path begins to shine with lights, other countries, and even continents!

There is a third option, to earn money, to find a semi-pro editor, for a couple of thousand US dollars he will be able to edit and correct your novel. But this is a very big risk. Since it is not a fact that you can sell your novel for more than these thousands of dollars.

In addition, this is the average salary for a year or even a half in our country. So this is clearly an idiotic idea!

Returning to the main question, if fewer people read your novel than you planned and there are few subscriptions, do you need to finish it? or write further?

I thought it was best to finish the novel! Even if it was a super quick end. It is better to have 7-10 novels, but complete. And not abandoned halfway ... with an unclear ending to the story. I think so.

So far I have three stories left. I will continue alone.
