Chapter 655: Such a Big One

The surroundings were filled with mist and boulders in an unfamiliar environment. Everyone rushed blindly, following whatever path they could find. Some of them were running so fast that they almost crashed into a massive boulder.

"Oh heavens, I knew it wouldn't be this easy," Lu Yi yelled while running, only to be shushed by Gu Fan.

Gu Fan had with him Leng Le, Lu Yi, Ouyang Jin, and three subordinates of some high-powered bosses. They had been running for a while, and the less physically fit among them were almost out of breath.

"Hold up, Gu Fan. Let's rest for a bit," suggested Leng Le.

Glancing around, Gu Fan saw that nearly everyone was on the brink of collapse. Knowing that they couldn't keep going like this, especially since there were no signs of sea snakes tailing them, he agreed to take a break.

"That was really dangerous!" exclaimed Ouyang Jin as he wiped his sweat and sighed. "I knew I shouldn't have taken this job. It's too troublesome."
