Chapter 19

At Asgard.

It's been two days since Thor returned from Earth (Midgard). He mainly gave attention to his duties as King of Asgard.

He had some meetings with the Army higher ups in the matter of recruitment and more efficient training for the soldiers with combat experience.

Thor knew that the soldiers of Asgard had a lack of real combat experience in battles.

He planned to tackle this matter by sending teams of soldiers with their commanders to planets within the nine realms disguised as mercenaries or bandits.

'The soldiers of Asgard has not faced any strong enemies for a while, but if I'm not wrong the convergence would be taking place within 7 years and that will begin the downfall of Asgard. But not this time I will prepare Asgard for any unexpected emergencies' Thor thought to himself.

He got up from his throne.

He walked towards his chamber and stood near the balcony and watched the clear sky.

He ordered his personal guards to bring Heimdall to his chamber.

After waiting for a while Heimdall entered with his guards behind following him.

Thor asked Heimdall about the Maximoff twins, Wanda and Pietro.

"Have you located Wanda and Pietro, Heimdall?"

"Yes my King, they are at Sokovia. They are living in an abandoned building." Heimdall replied.

"What about the candidates that I asked before?" Thor asked again.

Heimdall shared that he had noticed some talented individuals and promised to give a full report the next day.

"You can go back to your post Heimdall keep an eye on them and the Avengers especially Fury" Thor said.

Heimdall bowed and left him.

Thor turned towards his guards in the chamber and said.

"Aslong, Ster I will be bringing in two mortals from Midgard you will be in charge of training them in melee combat, don't disappoint me." He said to hai guards.

"Yes my lord we will." Replied without any delay.

"Follow me, we are heading to Midgard." Thor said while walking towards the door.

But Thor walked towards his father's chamber.

The guards announced his arrival and opened the door.

His personal guards waited outside as he wanted to have a chat with his mother.

Thor entered his parents' chamber, a serious tone hung heavy in the air.

His father, Odin, lay in the bed, deep in the Odin sleep, while his mother, Frigga, sat vigilantly beside him, her presence as a comforting beacon in the dimly lit room.

Thor approached quietly and stood beside Frigga.

Standing beside his mother, Thor gazed down at his father's peaceful face. 'I hope he's gone for a while in his sleep it will be a good thing for me at least.' He thought to himself.

Frigga looked up, her eyes filled with both sadness and strength, as she acknowledged Thor's presence with a gentle nod.

"Mother," Thor began, his voice low and reverent. "The situation in Asgard grows ever more dire. We face threats from all corners of the realms, with the Allfather in his Odin sleep and it has taken more than the usual amount of time so I fear we may not be prepared for what lies ahead." Thor said to his mother.

Frigga reached out and placed a reassuring hand on Thor's arm,"I understand, my son," she replied, her voice calm yet resolute. "But we must remain steadfast in our resolve to protect our people, no matter the cost. You are the King of Asgard and I believe that what you do will always be the safety and prosperity of the Asgardians."

'Looks like she is blinded by her motherly trust towards her son, and it played to my goals' Thor said in his mind.

Thor nodded and said "That is why I have decided to bring two children from Midgard to Asgard," he explained, his gaze steady as he met Frigga's eyes. "They possess great potential, but they will need guidance and training if they are to fulfill their destinies, their destiny to protect Asgard and the nine realms."

Frigga regarded Thor with a mixture of pride and concern, knowing the weight of the decision he had made. "And you believe they are worthy of such responsibility?" she asked, her voice soft yet probing.

Thor nodded solemnly. "I do," he replied. "But they will need someone to teach them the ways of magic and guide them on their path. Mother, I ask that you take them under your wing and impart to them the wisdom and knowledge of Magic."

'please agree please agree' he said in his mind.

Frigga looked at Thor and asked again "Even if they are capable of this role what about their opinion and their families at Midgard we can't just separate them from their family."

"They are orphans, their parents were killed in an accident and they have been living by themselves.

Believe me mother it's the best option for them to come to Asgard. All they have is each other the authorities of Midgard have abandoned them so before their mind gets polluted by the chaos." Thor said with a determined mind.

Frigga's expression softened at Thor's request, her maternal instincts guiding her response. "Of course, my son," she said, her voice filled with warmth and affection. "I will do everything in my power to help these children unlock their potential and become the guardians that Asgard needs."

Thor was pleased by the words of his mother and gave her a hug. "I won't let you or Asgard down mother. I promise as the King of Asgard."

Saying that Thor left the chamber accompanied by his loyal guards.

His next destination Earth.
