This Game Is Suffering

When an unknown entity claiming to be The Devil offers Izuku the chance to gain the power he's wanted all his life to become a hero, Izuku takes it. Now, Izuku must journey through several potentially horrifying death worlds across the multiverse in search of the fragmented pieces of the Gamer System he was given. This was a deal accepted from The Devil, after all... 3k-Word Long Chapters Minimum. Although, as the Gamer Power's Status and other bullshit gets larger I'll be working on increasing the length of the chapters to keep up with at least 3k-Words for plot development or whatever.

Izuku squinted with mixed emotions as he waited for the void to bring him… whenever it was going to be taking him now. The "where" apparently didn't matter, seeing as he would likely have a fight to deal with first. He was mostly just distraught by the connection between "ninjas" and "leaves;" without any context as he was going into the world blind for the first time, literally anything could happen the moment he exited the void.

A few minutes later Izuku finally lost it…

He hadn't even been transported somewhere on the ground this time. Instead, out of the void, he found himself possibly thousands of meters into the stratosphere.

"This is bullshit!" He yelled where no one could ever have hoped to have heard him. Though, as the wind buffeted his face and he approached terminal velocity, he was at least in a position to survey the situation below him.

What he saw was chaotic, to say the least.

Apparently, he had appeared directly above a massive city; probably the one that was currently being invaded. He could see that inside the city there were hundreds, potentially, thousands of people with ridiculous abilities doing combat.

Most were fighting like-powered individuals, killing each other off before moving on to the next life-or-death battle. But some were going after civilians that actively fled the ruthless invasion.

Aside from that, there was a massive battle taking place towards the southwestern side of the city's walls. There were easily thousands of superhumans and even a few giant snakes trying to beach the city walls.

Without a second thought, Izuku had already decided which side he was on as he barely broke into the troposphere and let loose a flash of fifteen High Caliber Argent Bullets; his target, the "Sound" and "Sand" Ninja that insisted on going after the civilians. His use of High Caliber varients boiled down to the almost perfect accuracy he could achieve with them when paired with the Aiming Ability he had been developing back in Remnant.

Of course, Due to the overwhelming power of his Argent Energy techniques combined with his 400+ Intelligence… Even when he didn't aim to kill, his "wounding" shots maimed and crippled all who did not manage to completely dodge them; in other words, all of the ninjas he had targeted since they hadn't even known he was an active threat against them.

"Oh well…" Izuku grimaced as he approached what looked like a massive stadium. He'd be conflicted if he found out that the fifteen he had disabled ended up dying. But he convinced himself of believing in the mindset that it was either going to be them or dozens, if not more so, civilians who were actively fleeing the situation.

At least, Izuku hadn't aimed to kill them.

"Oh? Already?" Izuku's frown promptly changed to a pleasant surprise as he could feel himself get drawn towards the roof of the stadium. Rather quickly, due to how fast he was falling, he became all but sure that one of the Gamer System's Fragments was waiting for him on the roof.

Boom!

Izuku landed on the roof with such force that it was a miracle in and of itself for it to not have caved in and collapsed.

"My, my…" A voice that could only be described as "intently creepy," sultrily hissed, "I'd planned on there being obstacles to my plan, but not from an unknown such as yourself, interloper."

"Yeah, well, I didn't plan on being summoned miles into the sky," Izuku grumbled as he patted the dust off his UAC military uniform. He'd Equipped it in exchange for his Beacon Student Uniform the moment it became apparent that he was heading straight into another battle.

"Stranger, identify yourself and your intentions, or I'll be forced to deal with you as an active threat to my village," the Hokage said as he looked warily between Izuku and his former student.

"Er… I'm just a pacifist," Izuku said quickly enough. "I don't know what's going on or why, but as I was falling from the sky, I saw your—" he pointed at the pale-skinned man, "—forces intentionally going after civilians. So, I'm going to have to side with the old man."

It was either that, side with the "immoral psychopath," or potentially be locked into a fight to the death against both at the same time, if they felt inclined to have a battle royale.

"A pity," the pale-skinned man said as he grinned maliciously as he weaved his hands through a series of hand signs. "You would have made for an interesting subject to study, given your lack of chakra, yet inhuman strength."

He stabbed the palm of his hand with a kunai and brought it to the ground. The act, somehow elicited what looked like living kanji to arrange themselves in an array before a portal appeared within its base. "I'll have to do with just researching your body," the pale man said.

Almost instantly, three wooden coffins shot out of the portal, but before the third could completely manifest, the Hokage stopped it with a barrage of seal-coated shuriken.

"Damn it," the Hokage said as he watched the two remaining coffins open hopelessly. Izuku could understand why as he observed the statuses of the men that walked out of the coffins.

Description: One of the strongest ninjas of all time reanimated…]

"Welp," Izuku addressed the Third Hokage as Draconified, "I'm going to go after the reanimations. This is as good a chance as I'll get to test the extent of my Abilities."

As Izuku's form shifted from his base full Dragonificaiton into that of his Demon Dragon Form, the Hokage looked at him unnerved as he said, "Those two are my predecessors, both are men I could never have hoped to surpass even at my prime."

"I know," Izuku said as his Demon Dragon Form progressed to the point that he became a Demon Dragon King. "They are stronger than anything I've ever seen. Luckily for us, they haven't been brought under his complete control. I can tell that they are actively resisting his technique."

"In the end, it matters not," the pale man snorted as he looked between his old teacher and Izuku with a calculating gaze. "After I'm done with you, Sarutobi, I'll deal with the pest that ruined my plans."

In his confidence — arrogance, if Izuku could peer into his mind — he honestly didn't think he needed the two reanimated Hokages to triumph over his old teacher. He had originally planned to bring them back just to spite him with their presence and over the fact that he would be forced to fight against them and potentially die to them even after they resisted his commands.

Thus the battle began with the reanimated Kages and the Sannin rushing all at the Third Hokage at once.

Izuku reacted accordingly and with the utmost caution against the two reanimated Kages. He vanished in a blur of inhuman speed.

Before anyone could react, he smashed into the form of the Second Hokage and sent him skidding across the roof. He tried to do the same against the First, but the legendary ninja managed to block him.

Boom!

The roof cratered with shingles blasting off in all directions, but did not crumble.

"Very impressive, young man," the First Hokage could barely express a smile as he spoke with an even and calm tone that held no emotions. He palmed Izuku by his ribs and sent him flying before immediately following his attack up with a series of hand signs.

"Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet," Izuku could clearly hear even as he used a Sealing Rune to form a platform along the air with which to stop himself. He barely had any time to defend himself as a massive dragon-headed boulder was almost upon him by the time he fully recovered.

Still, Izuku was able to use his Argent Construct technique to manifest a solid wall of Argent Energy that did not even shake against the Earth Dragon Bullet. The First Hokage's attack exploded into thousands of pebbles that continued to harmlessly pass Izuku to the side.

Izuku then redoubled his efforts as he shot off the platform of locked air and approached the First Hokage with the intent you use his the Targeted Discretion of his Presence Concealment to induce an opening.

"Water Release: Water Severing Wave," The Second Hokage's voice droned. A stream of pressurized water shot from his mouth, carving effortlessly through everything it touched as it chased Izuku who moved to dodge it.

"Wood Release: Hotei…" The First Hokage supported the Second by creating a Wood maze to trap, or at least slow, Izuku.

Izuku pushed himself through all the wooden constructs and continued to use Argent Walls as well as Argent Armor to tank through the attacks that continued to pile on him as he got closer to the First Hokage.

When he got just a few milliseconds away from being able to reach the man, he opened up the ability of his that was ever present and grinned as it looked to have worked as intended. He struck the First with just enough time to apply a Sealing Rune before the Second Hokage nearly decapitated him with yet another stream of an ultra-high pressure water jet.

To the shock of everyone, the First Hokage then started laughing maniacally as he held a single hand sign and ensnared the entire stadium in a forest of his own making. He managed to impale the Sannin who had been fighting against the Third and his Monkey King Summon before the pale man rescinded the first Hokage as a summon of his Impure Resurrection Technique.

"You…" The Sannin glared hatefully at Izuku after… shedding his previous body like the skin of a snake to appear completely uninjured from the otherwise fatal impalement. "I will remember you," he vowed as he forced the Second Hokage to cover his escape.

As the Sannin headed to one of the four corners of a purple barrier Izuku just now realized had been cast to keep anyone else from intruding, the Second Hokage summoned a small lake out of thin air and attempted to drown Izuku and the Third under its violent current.

Of course, neither Izuku nor the Third failed to react accordingly. The Third, by manipulating the very earth from the foundation of the building to rise up to the roof and divert the wave, while Izuku concealed his presence again and took the cover of the Third's earthen terrain to make his way to the Second and hit him with Sealing Rune as well.

The moment he did so, the world around him vanished.

"...This is going to be a recurring theme, isn't it?" Izuku asked as he found himself falling down from the sky once again. This time, he had an idea of where he was as he could see the outline of Konohagakure dozens of kilometers away.

He wondered where the next "active conflict" he had been brought to was supposed to be as all he could see from thousands of meters up in the sky was an endless forest for most directions, when out of nowhere…

Woosh!

A massive puff of smoke enveloped a sizeable portion of the forest right below Izuku and as the wind slowly dissipated it, the falling Demon Dragon King could see a Kaiju-sized sand raccoon monster.

Description: The weakest of the nine tailed chakra beasts that were captured and sealed into human sacrifices across the elemental nations. It is a sentient mass of seemingly endless energy that has been reduced to temporary insanity due to being sealed consecutively in poorly designed seals. It is currently being weaponized as a tool of mass destruction with the purpose of wreaking havoc in Konohagakure.]

'…Why did it appear so far away from the village then?' Izuku wondered even as he cast another Sealing Rune to form a platform for him to press against.

He activated his Aura and applied Reinforcement to bring his current physical state to the peak he was capable of sustaining without suffering self-damaging effects and shot off from the sealed air like a human missile, easily breaking the sound barrier several times over.

The moment he felt his hand come into contact with the massive, at least twenty-story tall, monster, Izuku let loose an Argent Blast and endowed it with afterquakes that continued to ring long after he came out the other side of the monster's body and into a five-meter deep crater into the earth.

Zzzz…

Izuku jumped out of the crater and into the top of the tallest tree he could find and sighed, because, of course, the sand monster was essentially immortal and could regenerate even if it had a massive hole going through where its internal organs should be if it were a biological entity.

"Kyaaaaaaaaa! Get the fuck away from me, True Demon!" The sand monster screeched desperately as it fled from Izuku the moment its massive eyes spotted him.

'...I thought it was supposed to be insane. Is Observe malfunctioning, or…' Izuku shrugged as he pursued the sand kaiju. He wasn't about to let it steamroll its way into the village that was already in the middle of fighting off an internal invasion.

Thoom!

To his shock, before he could even approach the One-Tailed Chakra Beast, another kaiju-sized toad puffed into existence with a plume of smoke. The moment it manifested, it used the massive "knife" it carried to cut down its counterpart in half.

"Yeah… I already tried that," Izuku said as he approached the massive toad. "Thanks for slowing him down though. With any luck, I'll be able to kill it for good after I seal away its regeneration."

"What the hell kind of nightmare have you summoned me to, brat?!" The toad asked just in time for Izuku to notice he had a young blond-haired boy standing on its head.

Izuku ignored them for the time being as he shot off toward the One Tails before it could regenerate enough of its body to make another attempt at fleeing. As he got closer, the very ground beneath him erupted, destroying a good few dozen square kilometers of the forest in all directions, as sand threatened to impale, ensnare, or just simply block Izuku on his path.

Izuku could do nothing about it as even with his overwhelming physical strength, he was neither fast nor strong enough to cut through millions of tons worth of pulverized earth faster than the sand kaiju could recover. Even with his Argent Energy techniques, though he managed to get close, he didn't get close enough and the One Tails once more ran for its life the moment it could stand to run.

"Damn it… All the strength in the world isn't going to be enough—" Izuku flickered across a hundred meters as the tree he had previously been standing on was reduced to splinters along with several dozen other trees that were hit by one of the One-Tail's "Wind Drilling Bullets."

"—Against these kinds of living natural disasters I'm going to more than just my body," His eyes narrowed as he could see the outline of the village walls start coming into view from the horizon.

Before he could completely think through his plans, he felt the world flip and his perspective change in the blink of an eye. One moment he was standing on another tree top and in the next, he was…

"Old man, I have a plan! We just need to wake up that red-headed psycho to win," the blond that stood on top of the toad told Izuku.

"What the— How did you even bring me here?" Izuku asked as he looked down and confirmed he was also now standing on the toad kaiju's head.

"Substitution with a chain of Shadow Clones, but that's not important," the preteen said.

"Kid are you insane? The One-Tailed Shukaku isn't going to give us the chance to mess with its vessel," the toad said, exasperated as it still couldn't quite believe its newest summoner had brought him to a battle between demons for their first fight together.

"We just need to hold it back for a second for the old man to wake Gaara up and he's fast as hell," the blond said. "Let's do a combination transformation!"

"Ah, what the hell," the toad said as it gave up trying to make sense of the situation.

The next thing Izuku knew, he was standing on a giant nine-tailed fox. He nearly fell off the transformed fox as it dashed after the sand raccoon nearly as fast as Izuku could manage on his own. Only, since the fox was just as massive as the raccoon, it was hardly phased by the attacks the One Tails cast behind its back to cover its escape.

In no time at all, the fox bore down on the raccoon with both its fangs and claws, holding it down for the split second Izuku needed to flicker between the two kaiju and rip out the "vessel" that allowed for the continued manifestation of the One-Tailed Chakra Beast. The moment he disconnect the red-headed boy from his monster's forehead, the boy woke up screaming in pain and fear; a fitting response to being awakened forcefully by a literal Dragon Demon King.

Izuku's eyes narrowed as the sand that previously made up the One-Tails body came crashing down without the chakra beast's power to keep it animated. He made another platform in the air and used a Sealing Rune to ensure that the red-headed would not revert back into a vessel for the One-Tails.

He barely even touched the ground before he was cast back into the void of white.

"...So that's how Incidental works," Izuku hummed as he took inventory of his current condition.

As he understood it, if he chose to go after the last Root Fragment now, he'd almost certainly get dumped in the middle of a fight between powerful beings, or groups of powerful individuals. It'd be what the Gamer System's guidance would recommend he do, but he wasn't sure about his chances as he just learned he was far from fully equipped to deal with all kinds of enemies.

As he currently was, his Stamina and Energy Reserves were marginally depleted — not quite significant enough to make much of a difference even against an enemy that required all of his strength to combat. However, the extent of his abilities was not enough to single-handedly hunt down titanic monsters; as niche of a downfall as that was.

Izuku drummed his fingers against each other as he thought about what he could have done better against the One-Tailed Chakra Beast.

'Physical Ability is what I excel at and that's supported heavily by my utility and supporting techniques. I have my Argent Energy techniques to cover long-range attacks, but against large-scale attacks, it's just not enough to counter.'

'What I need right now is either a way to make my own large-scale long-range attacks, or even better movement abilities to not need a counter against unfavorable maneuvers. Hmm…'

Izuku thought for as long as it took the Gamer System to remind him to make his next course of action before he decided he'd leave the matter up to circumstance. He had five pending Adventurer Abilities which he could slot in for new Magical Abilities or other Falna-Derived Abilities.

He also had enough Excelia to power level whatever new Ability he gained significantly, even if it were as demanding as his Sabotage Magic, which he had yet to touch. That left him with just enough confidence to allow the System to take him to the last of the unknown worlds he would have to visit to complete the Gamer System's Main Quest.

Whatever terrifying battle awaited, he just hoped even in the case of being outmatched, he'd at least be left with the option to flee until he got strong enough to make another attempt. Hopefully, the most dangerous thing he'd have to face before finally amassing all the Root Fragments was the sand kaiju he'd already dealt with.

It couldn't get much worse than that, right?

'God fucking damn it…' Izuku sighed as he prepared himself for what was likely his greatest challenge yet. His life was now run by the game after all.

And what game didn't get progressively harder?

[ETA to the "The Traitorous Fallen's Coup" 2:59 Minutes]

[Main Quest Updated!

Supernatural World Progression: The world is set in the early twenty-first century. This World's version of Earth did not evolve due to the advent of Quirks. Instead, everyone is Quirkless… Except of course for all the Reincarnated Heroes, The Biblical God's Chosen, and humans affiliated with the Factions of real Pantheons. But those aren't really Quirks, and in a world where Gods are not only real but not even the strongest beings around… Does it even matter? Pick a side to support or make your own group to climb up the hierarchy of supernatural beings. The strongest entities around would either be really good allies to make or great sources to look for Fragments of the Gamer System.]

New Perks!

Precognition: Gained as a result of entering the Supernatural World for the first time… Whilst you are traveling through the void with the intention of continuing the Main Quest, you will become aware of relevant events or information that may hint towards the location of a Fragment. In any other circumstance, traveling through the void will grant you precognitive visions that will hint towards events or knowledge that you subconsciously desire to understand.]

[New Curses!

Unlucky: Gained as a result of entering the Supernatural World for the first time… The Gacha Gods have spoken: They dislike you. Odds of receiving Common Grade drops increase to 85%, Odds of receiving Uncommon Grade drops decrease to 14.5%, Odds of receiving Rare Grade drops decrease to 0.49% and Odds of receiving Epic Grade drops decrease to 0.01%.]

"..." Izuku was speechless… and not in a good way. He wanted nothing more right now than to bash his head against the solid "ground" of the void and curse the Gamer System for the masterful way it both helped and hurt him in ways he could never predict.

For once, he was spared from another personality-changing Curse. At least, he ended up with both new Perks and Curses that served to make him feel like he'd come out with a net positive change to his Status.

Yet, this time the Perk he gained pretty much confirmed his greatest fears as he had gained precognition of the battle he was about to be summoned into. This time, he wasn't going up against another conventional monster or person.

No…

This time…

This time he was going up against one of the closest beings to a god, literally…

[Abilities Update!

Sabotage Magic: Invoke Calamity (Level 1 → Level 50): You spent ~53.942 Million Excelia to increase this Ability from 1 to 50. For every 1% of your Total Magic Reserves sacrificed, your Stats increase by 20% for ten seconds per percent of Total Magic Reserves sacrificed.

Light Magic: Limitless Light (Level 1 → 60): A Magical Ability that now occupies your fourth Magical Skill slot. You may freely manipulate Light Magic to do anything you can imagine (within reason, and to the extent that your Magic Reserves are capable of). "Fuck… I don't think even all of that is going to be enough," Izuku grimaced as he reviewed everything from his plans to the enemy he would be confronting in under a minute.

The Supernatural World, he found through precognition, was essentially a copy of his Original World from over two hundred years ago. Only, this one never experienced a Quirk Revolution, and instead, the population was entirely filled with Quirkless people… and all the creatures from every mythology.

Everything from Yokai to the Biblical God was accounted for and real.

Ironically, he was preparing himself to meddle in a fight between a group of Devils and they weren't even his intended opponent. Instead, he had chosen to side with them and to do battle with the megalomaniacal Fallen Angel that was trying to restart a Divine War between the Devil, Fallen Angel, and Angel Factions.

Why?

Izuku had no idea. He just knew that if he didn't interfere on the side of the Devils, two very important heiresses, both siblings to Satans, would probably die and start the end of the world for the normal people in the Supernatural World.

The only problem was, his opponent wasn't just any Fallen Angel. No, things could never be that easy for him; that was just wishful thinking at this point. Instead, he would be confronting a twelve-winged fallen angel that had easily lived for thousands, if not tens of thousands, of years.

Izuku was cast out of the void.

He appeared in the middle of the battlefield; on the ground, this time. All around him, there was one group of devils that were maintaining a barrier to isolate the battleground from the rest of the city that was helplessly unaware and vulnerable. Behind him, there was another another group of devils that were all but defeated after Kokabiel toyed with them to show the futility of their resistance.

"What's this? Another ant, dares to stand in my way?" The fallen angel asked as he proudly flaunted his twelve ash-black wings. "Don't you inferior beings have even a shred of self-preservation instincts?"

Description: One of the three leaders of the Fallen Angel Faction. He has defected from the interest of his Co-Leaders at Grigori to create the opportunity to end the ceasefire between the Three Biblical Factions. As an unknown, he currently believes you to be too weak to even think of taking seriously.]

"Are you… No, who are you?" The red-haired woman behind Izuku asked.

"My, my," Kokabiel openly laughed. "You don't even know your own allies? What a joke!" His grin darkened as he began glowing harshly, an array of light-based swords manifesting behind him. "Whoever you are, it does not matter. You just be another casualty to my great war!" He shouted as he unleashed the dozens of swords of light at Izuku.

The swords all approached their targets, Izuku's vital organs and major blood vessels, only to suddenly swerve out of control without getting even an inch close to his body as they crashed or exploded right behind him.

Everyone was surprised. Kokabiel, the devils… Even Izuku himself numbly asked, "There's no way, it could be that easy, right?" Of course not, he found out a second later as Kokabiel intently guided another barrage of light-based sword projectiles.

Still, even without assuming Draconification, Izuku managed to evade or extinguish the swords with his own Argent Sword Construct with surprisingly little difficulty.

"What the hell?" Most of the devils asked lamely amongst each other. A stranger had just intruded on their battle — on their side, thankfully — and was now easily keeping up with the monster that had effortlessly trashed them just seconds prior.

"Ugh… His swordsmanship," The blond-haired Yuto uneasily said as he struggled to sit up.

"It's… God—" Most people near her winced, "—awful… It's so bad, but he's just… so fast that it doesn't even matter," the blue-haired Xenovia lying next to Yuto said as she tried to catch her breath.

"Gah! Stop dodging and just die already!" Kokabiel's patience ran out and he dashed toward Izuku even as he kept up his endless light-based assault.

"Yeah? How about no," Izuku rolled his eyes as he continued to dodge.

He patiently held his abilities back until Kokabiel got within striking distance. The moment their two energy-based swords collided, Izuku snickered as he let his dissipate in favor of an all-out charged draconified punch.

Vwoom… Boom!

Kokabiel was hit hard by the concentrated might of a Draconified punch that was triply augmented by Empower, Hasten, and a fully loaded Argent Blast. Yet, milliseconds after he crashed through the school building and put a crack into the devil's barrier, he recovered enough to fly back at Izuku with impotent rage.

"You worthless worm!" Kokabiel seethed as he charged up a massive light sword that doubled in size and power by the second.

"Oh shit!" Izuku nearly panicked as he imagined the devastation that would be wrought by the light sword exploding upon making contact.

He looked at Kokabiel and noticed that while his clothes were slightly damaged, the man himself had barely even been scratched by his attack. Understanding the futility of trying to hold back the full extent of his might, he let loose.

In the blink of an eye, he draconified back into his Demon Dragon King form and eliminated even the negligible amount of magic he used to maintain his Presence Concealment.

He felt like he was on fire as the world around him slowed down to a crawl. The effects of Speed of Thought now felt more like a curse than a perk as the feeling intensified and his perception expanded.

Kokabiel reacted appropriately enough as he backed off the moment he felt Izuku's spike in power. He now regarded the absolute demon in front of him with due care, and it was almost too late…

Shing!

In fractions of a second, Izuku jumped and used nearly ten percent of his remaining Magic Reserves to cast a concentrated jetstream of Fire Dragon's Breath. Even faster, the inch-thin stream of burning solid plasma bisected Kokabiel by his waist.

The plasma beam cut thousands of meters into the earth behind the fallen angel, only by the angle with which Izuku had used the Magical Ability, for if he had not jumped, everything for dozens of kilometers would have joined Kokabiel in being cut cleanly.

Naturally, despite the devastating blow, Kokabiel was not without reprieve. As a Fallen Angel of his caliber, it was all too easy for him to mitigate the damage by reattaching his body with Holy Light and retaliating in kind.

Understanding the danger Izuku possessed, Kokabiel also cut loose as a sea of Holy Light manifested around him. Half of it condensed much like Izuku's Dragon's Breath into a bomb that teleported right in front of Izuku before collapsing into something of black-hole that swallowed a perfectly spherical indentation of the ground with a radius of ten meters. The other half flowed into Kokabiel fast enough to fully assimilate into his black clothes by the time Izuku managed to recover enough to jump out of the hole.

"Damn…" Izuku held a grimace as he struggled to stay conscious. The only reason Kokabiel's attack hadn't annihilated him down to the atomic level was because his ridiculous Intelligence paired with his new Limitless Light Magical Ability to reduce the effects of the attack.

"Impressive… for an ant," Kokabiel snorted as vanished in a burst of speed that somehow Izuku only barely managed to block.

"What the fuck?!" Izuku cursed as he immediately started losing out in their close combat engagement. "How. The. Hell. Are You. Still Faster… Than Me!" His ire was stoked as the difference in their Agility seemed to suggest that he should be utterly trouncing the Fallen Angel.

Unless... He began to calculate.

"Hahaha! Foolish Demonic Dragon! You could never hope to be my equal!" Kokabiel yelled even as the collateral of his exchange with Izuku was starting to break down the barrier.

"Your light!" Izuku's eyes widened as he analyzed the way Kokabiel's Holy Light was interacting with him through his clothes.

He tested the waters, interrupting the flow of Magic for just a split second, and managed to counter Kokabiel for the first time.

He grinned, for his victory was in sight…

Another ten percent of his total Magic Reserves was sacrificed to significantly disrupt Kokabiel's Holy Light Magic Flow and a subsequent twenty-five percent of his dwindling reserves were used to hold a Concentrated Fire Dragon's Breath that weaved a jagged path all across the Fallen Angel's body; effectively reducing the man to a bunch of slabs of supernatural meat.

Still… The pieces of Kokabiel attempt to reconfigure themselves back into the man's original form, but Izuku wasn't about to let that happen. The Fallen Angel might have had the appearance of a man, but Izuku was much too angered and resolute to let that stop him from using what remained of his Magic Reserves to use a "normal" Fire Dragon Breath to vaporize Kokabiel until his Magic ran out.

[New Curses!

Doomed (Temporary): Gained as a result of using Invoke Calamity… You have sacrificed yourself for power leagues ahead of your own. The price: A ten-times reduction of your Stats for two weeks.]

Izuku suddenly collapsed after his Demon Dragon Transformation was involuntarily rescinded.

"No!" Despair encroached as he did not find himself back in the white void.

He looked at the still flaming scorched pieces of the Fallen Angel and felt his heart sink at the sight of Holy Light continuing to amass in the form of Kokabiel. As the light slowly continued to build, his only regret was not fully committing at the last second and using a Berserk Rune to triple his already borderline godly Stats.

Sure, he might have gone insane and perhaps even destroyed the city around him. But now… After coming so close to fulfilling the Gamer System's guidance… After venturing into five new worlds… He'd never be able to return to his own. He'd never be able to see his mother again. He'd never fulfill his original dream of becoming a pro hero.

He… was caught completely off guard as the light that threatened to reform into Kokabiel was utterly consumed by a bale of red-tinted black energy.

"Dude! You totally just kicked that asshole's ass!" Izuku felt an arm impact his shoulder.

"Issei, no! Can't you see he's hurt?" A softer voice quickly grew in volume and when Izuku turned, he came face to face with a blond-haired girl who smiled reassuringly at him. "Thank you, mister…" She said as she held a glowing green hand out to heal him.

"Issei… Could you transfer some more power to me?" The red-haired woman who was managing the darkness that continued to extinguish Kokabiel's light asked. "I can't believe that even after all of that, this bastard still has enough energy to resist my Power of Destruction..."

"No problem, prez!" The brunette who first approached Izuku said before manifesting a red gauntlet that started shouting "Boost" every few seconds.

"Oh my," a very suggestive voice seemed to whisper. Before Izuku could react in his enfeebled state, he turned once more to see the most sexually charged woman he'd ever laid eyes on. "And here I'd been thinking all along that Issei would be the one to save the day. Ha," her bell-like laughter distorted Izuku's morality, "Whatever could I do to repay you?"

Now…

It could have been the fact that she was purposefully using her allure. It could have been the fact that the raven-haired woman was literally the textbook definition of the ideal Japanese woman. It could have been the fact that like most of the others, her clothes were barely just a bunch of haphazardly ripped ragged that failed to hide her most intimate parts.

In the end, it was likely just the fact that Izuku's Will had just been reduced to a tenth of its baseline levels; it didn't help that he was also exhausted.

The outcome was that Izuku…

…was saved by the void for once!

Before anything could happen, he was been whisked away from that horrifying situation.

"Hahaha…" Izuku was left hysterically rolling around in the void as his mind slowly recovered from the stress of everything he'd just experienced. His Will was enfeebled and it was too much for a "relatively" normal person to bear.

In the past hour or so, he'd rushed through acquiring the last three Root Fragments. He was worn out physically, mentally, and spiritually. To top it all off, he'd just barely won by the skin of his teeth once more; after paying a great tribute, no less.

Right afterward, he'd lost himself to his Curses and for an indeterminate period of time, he'd gone completely insane with lust and mania within the void. The whiplash from returning from that "high" to realizing he'd finally fulfilled the Gamer System's guidance in acquiring the Roots of all the previously lost Gamer Systems, was enough to kill a lesser man.

"Finally! Finally!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. "I can finally go back home, right? Right?!"

[Answer: You've always had the choice of returning home after making progress with the Main Quest. Now, the Gamer System would advise between returning to your Original World, the Dungeon World, or the Broken World. Everywhere else would probably see you die before you could recover from your Doomed cursed state of being.]

"Yes… Yes! But, before you begin the traveling process, have you finally found out how strong I'll have to be at the end of this… Game?" Izuku hesitantly asked.

[Answer: Level and Stats are all misleading pieces of an individual's Status as you've likely noticed. The most relevant way to describe the level of strength you'll need to complete the Main Quest is: become the Strongest of the Top Ten Strongest Beings of the Supernatural World.]

[Continued: To be more specific, you would need Effective Stats in the hundreds of thousands, borderline immunity to all sources of damage, and techniques to handle any possible situation. At the very least, you would need to become a God amongst Gods.]

"...Yeah, I'll just worry about that later. For now… Take me home! Please!"

[Now Travelling To "Musutafu City"]

1)That's right, baby. This lazy Author is much too incompetent to try to manage seven entire goddamn worlds in one fanfiction. I'm speedrunning at least Naruto and DxD to not go insane from trying to remember all the bullshit I've written down.

1.5) I might not speedrun all instances of Izuku's visits to the Naruto or DxD Worlds, though. I might get "inspired" if you know what I mean.

2) I'm taking the liberty of breaking up DxD's power hierarchy for the Ultimate Class and up. So when you see that Satan/Seraph is only a 6/10 that's to scale with the other four Classes of Power that I'm either making up or obviously stronger within the Ultimate Class category.

3) Incidental — My nonexistent Outlining process — has changed the "nature" of the game so there is "no telling" how many more Fragments are left.

3.3) Originally, as in when I first thought up this story, I planned on taking Izuku to a relatively obscure world, for fanfiction I mean, like Touhou or Scarlet Nexus. But I couldn't think of a way to not make him too underpowered (Touhou) or overpowered (Scarlet Nexus), so I settled for what you have here.

3.6) With the way things are going now, I'm actually thinking of increasing the total number of Fragments left from 28 to nearly 40.

4)The game giveth and the game taketh away; mostly the latter, but you know...

Next Arc Progress: 9/9 Chapters 100% complete! It's kind of the reason why I'm releasing this just a day after the previous chapter.

Anyways, This has been your boy, Probably Not Your Local Tax Accountant, signing off.
